WAIT! Don't comment just yet! What do we hate about Mexico? There is nothing we hate about Mexico. Here is the point we want to try and make...Coming to any new country, state, city, restaurant, etc. it can be really easy to see or experience things that are different and automatically assume they are "bad". We need to shake this mindset completely! You just moved to Mexico and your neighbors stay up parting all night long? Sure- that could be "bad" and you could "hate" it. OR you could go make some friends, find out why they are partying, and just embrace the local culture. Going into a new country or city and pointing out things that we don't like takes no skill. Instead I believe that we should seek out the beauty, seek out the differences and find the good in them, find out what makes each and every city so unique, different, and great! If you look for beauty, you will find beauty. There are bad aspects of every country, culture, city, job, etc. We have a choice. We can CHOOSE to find the good, the beautiful, the unique OR we can choose to find the negative, the bad, the ugly. Hopefully this video makes it clear what we have chosen and what we urge you to choose as well.
One other point-I used to teach college English and I could always tell the students who hadn’t read the material but tried to pretend they had. Or those who never read the syllabus and then asked questions about things explained on page one. 😆 It’s the same on UA-cam. Drives me nuts. Watch the video before you comment! Not just because you’re missing the point otherwise, but because we judge you for doing it. 😆😆 Kidding not kidding.
And this is why I love you guys! It’s so refreshing to see Mexico through your eyes, I can’t stand it when people go to a new place with a “city inspector” attitude. Thanks for this video!
My experience is that far too often one can tell how well someone is fitting into a new location, especially a different country. In a way. I was lucky growing up because I did live in other places than the mainland US. As a result, I learned at an early age that not everyone does everything the same way it is done in say, Iowa. I'm not picking on Iowa, I just picked a name. If someone grows up around a very diverse place and interacts with people from different places, it is easier as well. You guys are doing things right because you are willing to mix with folks and experiment with new foods, methods of travel, etc. I have seen gringos who live in Chapala, San Miguel de Allende, Cozumel, or Puerto Vallarta who have been there for a very long time but don't know Spanish, will not eat at "local" places and have very few or no Mexican friends. When you visit with them, they are always complaining about the problems getting repairs, finding a good maid, complain about the noise caused by posadas in the neighborhood etc. I love Mexico and I love the people here. I have far more Mexican friends than I do gringo friends here.
John Petry very good points and I’m with you on everything you said. I work in retail as a butcher in a store and I hear people complain about everything some of the things they complain about are pathetic to say the least. A lot of people I come across are a bunch of cry babies. Cheers and let’s keep being positive
I hear you loud and clear. Thank you sooo much. There’s another American couple that I’ve tried so hard to like but because of their negativity, entitled attitude and views, I won’t support them. They are great at showing the city and different locations and doing research, however I understand there’s good and bad everywhere but when you look for bad it will find you. I am so glad that you have pointed these things out. There was actually a discussion going on about you and another couple on UA-cam who travels Mexico on a Facebook private group who at times seem “bitter “ and one of the reasons we don’t like them is because of their negative views of Mexico in comparing it to the US or their expectations and people said the same thing you just did. Seek the good, better in everything you do and in people. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Viva 🇲🇽!
Yup Sounds like Tangerine travels! The very reason why I unfollowed them. Kinetic cannons, Erin’s travel, mommy perms, the new travel! Are my forever favorites! Love you guys! ❤️
Hey guys ... One thing to love instead to hate. Is that Mexico catches your heart and pay you with those little and wonderful moments that allow you to see the beauty in every corner in Mexico. Thanks for sharing. 😎
I've been coming to Mexico for over 30 years now. I admit I wasn't keen about coming at first but my friend assured me I would like it. Although I only spent a week here the first time, I was sad all the way back to Canada because I realized it was the people and lifestyle I loved the most. Sure, the beaches, weather and palm trees, etc. are nice too but it's the people that really make it anywhere you travel in the world. I've visited over 40 countries (and still going strong) but the Mexicans are the most warm-hearted, giving and caring people I've ever met. I usually travel alone, too, and have never been afraid in Mexico. Your message applies to how we live our lives, as well as travel in Mexico and elsewhere. "What you put out, comes back" and if you put out positivity all the time and making the most of any situation you are in (look for the gift or lesson), then that's what you will get back. If you are negative and see only the worst in people and in travel, that's exactly what you will attract back. So wise words of wisdom you have offered to everyone, with a fun and informative approach. I'm now living in Mexico more than in Canada and feel totally at home here. No place is perfect in the world and no person is perfect and the more we accept "it is what it is", the better our world will be. Keep on sharing your wisdom and telling us more about your travels in Mexico!
I love your comments you are both very positive people and that’s awesome. 👍👍 Keep on traveling and enjoying this beautiful country Mexico 🇲🇽 I live in Atlanta and I wish I was there in Mexico enjoying food people and so many beautiful places like you guys are enjoying right now. You both have a really good personality 😃😃😃😃😃♥️💙💚🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
I do remember the first time that I watch one of your videos and was the one of the moment of the earthquake, see how Hilary react at the moment and go to a safety place from de mall ,since that date I star watch every single video and so happy to discover a two real person that love mexico and everything and very respectful ,god blessed your lives and everything u guys do my gringos mexicanos ,sorry by my English I tried my best lol.
The reason I subscribed to your channel was the positive energy feeling I got after watching your videos, that's something I really appreciate after a long day in school and working, I know not everything is always positive but your approach and mindset to things situations plays a big part in the experiences you get, you're doing and amazing job sharing that with us, your channel deserves millions of followers and I'm sure you'll be there soon Gracias por sus videos amigos, felices fiestas!
I very much appreciate your optimistic attitude regarding Mexico. I have enjoyed watching you "enjoy" Mexico. For foreigners like myself who are interested in a true representation of the places that you visit, I feel that I am always getting the "candy-coated" version. I don't expect you to put out a video about what you "HATE" about this place or that place. However, to say that you had less than adequate service here or that the food was a little overpriced there, etc., is not disrespecting a country but helping a fellow traveler. I realize that a lot of your subscribers are looking to promote Mexico, but some of your other subscribers are looking for real information. I believe that some your subscribers would appreciate your honesty regarding certain aspects of your experiences in Mexico.
Washington Irving was the first US AMBASSADOR in Spain...1804 as far as I renember...He wrote Alhambra tales when living in Spain...and used to say "KNOWING IS LOVING" which is a great way to see the World ...and accurate...since OUR WORLD despite the borderlines is OUR WORLD...and we must enjoy it...IT's OUR HOME IN THE UNIVERSE...belongs to Mankind...despite the fact that is controlled by nations and regulations...WE MUST APORECIATE IT...still OUR WORLD...
It's been my observation over many decades, half in Mexico and half in the US, that Americans don't usually feel at ease in a foreign environment or surrounded by foreigners. This feeling is even more acute when both coincide. For us Mexicans, foreign people or place means adventure, excitement and openness for the.unknown, we welcome all that. Is an explosive and interest cocktail. Americans expect people to speak English and expect visits to be not filled with unexpected surprises. Again, I'm talking in general based on my personal observations.
@@kinetickennonswe may technically be but it is a fact of life and geography that even us Latin Americans are and speak different. Not only that, peoples within Mexico are quit quite different not just phisycally but in many other ways. These differences are even more pronounced when comparing Mexicans with Americans from the USA. We may gladly interact for a few minutes but pretty soon an invisible barrier starts to develop and that's when the interaction ends. Just saying.
Some additional perspective... I would say that what you point out isn’t specific to Americans. Having lived in Europe and traveled across the world, I can tell you this attitude tends to come from western countries (rich economies) and their view of developing or middle-income countries. Most of it stems from the fact that there are certain standards and “creature comforts” you are used to when you come from a Western country vs going to LatAm, Asia or Africa, as examples. You hear the same comments from Brits, the French, the Irish, Germans, Italians and the Spanish. Two marked exceptions are most Canadians and Australians who really tend to be open-minded, embrace the new and the different and just aren’t people who focus on the negative. So, no, it’s not just Americans who don’t feel at ease in environments that are vastly different to their own. ☺️
Some channels show the positive, but also the negative of each place they visit. Others just make good publicity. They are different styles. Personally I prefer that they express their honest opinion, with the good and the bad. The problem is that many people do not like criticism and they take it badly.
Hey Guys I really love both of you. My name is Edson and I live in Portland Oregon and I need to thank you for give me back a little of my country and my city where I grew up.When I was was dating my girlfriend, now my wife for 19 years we used to go to Coyoacan a lot of times.
Hi guys this may seem cheesy but your videos somehow make my day, I was particularly depressed today and hearing what you had to say just cheered me up somehow, we as mexicans tend to focus on the worst without even realizing how great life can be if we stop doing that. Thank you for these videos :)
You guys are awesome. The fact that you guys took the time to get out of the tourist areas and get to know Mexico has in fact impressed me as a Mexican. I have only visited like 5 states in Mexico and your videos make me want to get out there and see the rest of the country. I’m Mexican and you have all my respect for showing the rest of the world what Mexico looks like outside the fancy hotels and fancy tourist areas.Gracias amigos, gente como ustedes siempre serán bienvenidos.
The fact that you keep finding good side of things that may appear not so good at first approach, especially in a foreign country, deserves a respect! Keep trying and exploring things! I Love your trip!Amazing videos ❤
Thank you, both, for putting a real face to Mexico and for demystifying the misinformation disseminated by the bad media. I appreciate and enjoy all your videos
Okay now I clearly must try a charale... is that how you spell it? 😂 I agree with your points in the video, but I’ll add that it can also be a personality thing. Jesse and I are opposites-I can like anything and he can dislike anything. LOL. But I love him anyway, even though he’s often grumpy. I would love for those of us in the “Mexico vlogging” community (is that a thing?) to have more of these conversations. The one thing that does worry me, though, is the response to people who do share more about things they might not like about a place. Sometimes that response can be pretty brutal (not from everyone by any stretch, and maybe it’s just the trolls-those pesky trolls!). But I hope we can all “live and let live.” I hope that makes sense. Anyway, cheers to you both and I’m totally jealous about those temperatures because it snowed where I’m at today and I just sat on the couch huddled under blankets missing Mexico. 😆
Erin's Travels charales, or charalitoss. It's the same as jerky beef. but instead of meat. They are small, salty sardines. smoked, golden or dried in the sun. (you can find it ready to eant in the market) but you have to eat well at the first time!. with lemon, chile and salt in addition to a dark beer. if you dont do it. you will hate them forever. The KK did a huge mistake not asking how eating) Lol here the 2 recipes.ua-cam.com/video/-18tFV4kqiE/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Dkb8LF244dY/v-deo.html
Cada vez me caen mejor! aprecio cada comentario positivo que asen de mi México Saludos.

You are making an extraordinary compendium of the best of Mexico. Your work acquires the level of an encyclopedia of happiness and well being. Thank you so much for give us the mirror of your sensitivity to our sometimes ignored reality.
Ok guys! About the Charales I used to hate them also but later I learned that it al depends on how you eat them, for example some places sell them cook soft like stuffing in carps that are cooked wrapped in corn husks stuffed with Charales or in a salad mix. Any way there's a lot of ways to eat them and I tried several of them and always I would not say that I hated them but let's just say that I didn't quite liked them until I tried Charales Fritos con limón y Chile piquín deliciosos amigos! So if you didn't tried them crispy fried con Chile piquín you might be missing out. Just saying you know!
You guys make a great point. I believe taking the easy route is not bad per se, but there is definitely more value in making an effort to find the positive aspects about anything.
I thought i was going to hear some hard truths and ended lmao, specially about the churros thing in the end. I'm glad you guys are liking Mexico and my people. Hope your visit stays great!
Oh please don't end the video like that LOL! Just tell us... Thank you, you guys are by far the best, I've seen many of these with American's in Mexico and you are by FAR the best! Thank you! All the best to you and yours. Bravo y muchas gracias!
Another good video from you guys, Happy Holidays. Question/suggestion - for those of us getting ready to make a move, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST WE PACK??? Some people overpack, some things may be hard to find in Mexico, can you please do a video of packing strategies for people planning to come and may be hopping from city to city, Without a Car. Por Favor. :)
Guys but you never said anything that you hate about Mexico, but it’s ok to say it!! We all have things that we hate about our country and other countries and that is ok it’s part of life. Now I can understand that if you feel like you’re guests you shouldn’t say anything bad to the hosting place even if you feel it, but I personally see y’all just like one more of us, and I’m sure 99% of your audience too and I’m sure none of us will take it to heart, also us Mexicans like to make fun of ourselves and acknowledge our negative things, I don’t know if you’ve seen it but Justin Permenter made a video about 10 things he hated about Mexico and he went to town on that hahah but 0 people took offence, we see him as another Mexicano, and we appreciated his honesty, basically all things we also hate about here so no biggie if you ever wanna vent
Awesome video!! I agree...we can definitely program our brains to seek out the negative or positive in all aspects of life. I choose to look at the bright side of things always.
Thank you so much you guys for sharing my city I’m from Mexico City Coyoacan I really miss sitting at the kiosco on Sunday nights ..to see people going back and forth and be in historical city im here in this side of bakersfield central California at the same time I love California thank you you guys for be so kind I really love you guys stories see you guys soon...
In a couple videos you have mentioned that hates to eat Charales or Cueritos. Could be a challenge at 200K subscribers in your channel. What do you think ? 😎
Hey Hilaria y Goyo! That's the best way to travel and enjoy our country! You are an example of how young people should travel around. Thanks to share all this with us. If you have a positive attitude, you will find only positive things! And give a second chance to charales!!! Go to the mercado de Sonora or Jamaica...all the mercados in mexico are wonderful!
Both of you, guys, are so adorable!!! You make the world a much better place because you have understood what life is about, thank you so much for sharing your experiences of traveling around my country with such honesty. It is a shame you were so close to my house in Coyoacán and I did not know. Anyway, keep on enjoying yourselves.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. People do compare and just because things and other people are different doesn't make you any better. You are both beautiful
2:53 I was just having a conversation about that exact thing with a friend, whilst I love the all american red and green christmas, I can’t help but feel nostalgic when I see these types of colorful decoration, blue, pink, yellow and orange ornaments, piñatas ,wreaths and christmas lights , they remind me of the time we use to have posadas with the whole family, and they stuffed the piñata with not only candy but also oranges, peanuts in the shell, and colaciones made of anís. Mexican christmas is definitely distinctive from the rest of the world
This is why I love you guys! Every country is different and that’s what makes it special and wonderful at the same time, yes there’s things we might not like or understand as foreigners but those are also part of the things that makes a place unique. I think the problem is that a lot of “Americans” go to a different country with the attitude that things should run Or look the same as here in the USA... a lot of times they come with this snobbery attitude acting like they are better just because they come from the USA... that’s the reason some don’t like us (“Americans” USA). I love going to Mexico cuz it’s so different and so similar at the same time. Mexico is a vastly rich country arguably the richest culturally rich country in the world, where the frase a “world of itself” or “a world within a world” is so true. Yes Mexico is not perfect by any means but one thing is true, Mexico is a rich country, culturally, gastronomically, landscape wise where you can find pretty much any ecosystem in the world, and the friendly people really make it a special place. The food is arguably the best food in the world and in my opinion it truly is. I think there’s a lot we can learn through travel and a lot of us from the USA have to visit other countries and go with an open mind and not go with a snobby attitude, acting like our shit don’t stink. Nothing would suck more than a globalized world were everything is like the USA. The world is an amazing place full of wonderful traditions, food, landscapes animals and people.... Mexico just happens to be rich in all those things. Oh and I’m with you gotta keep a positive attitude and focus more on the positives and not focus too much on the negatives which are present at all times if you wanna look for them.
you are so right--some of the best things about Mexico were once so strange and foreign when we first got here. A world within itself--a perfect description of Mexico! Thank you for sharing, amigo! Gotta keep pushing forward with positivity--thanks for coming along with us!
Guillermo - there was another person here who made a similar comment to yours. As I mentioned to him, the attitude you describe is not specific to Americans. I’ve lived in Europe and have traveled the world and you’ll hear these kinds of comments from Brits, Irish, German, Italians and the Spanish. It has to do with the fact that those that are from rich economies are used to certain standards and “creature comforts” that developing countries, including LatAm, Asia and Africa, just don’t have. That makes them feel uncomfortable and it takes some getting used to...this is why they complain. You are right that Mexico is rich in many things...however, imagine you went to a country that had less than Mexico and you had to use the toilet and shower outside with no hot water. Imagine they only had very limited dishes to offer you with no fast food, no other options. Any person from a county that has a nice indoor bathroom and can take hot showers without thinking twice and a variety of food options would feel uncomfortable. Wouldn’t it take getting used to? Of course you would! It’s a natural human reaction. Humans being humans, we are creatures of comfort. It’s easier to go from a place where you don’t have so many comforts to one that does, than the other way around. Also, the more you have the more “rigid” you tend to become...that applies to all rich economies, not just the US. At the end of the day, travel makes people more flexible and agile...but that travel should not be limited to one or two places. Go out and see and understand cultures that are vastly different from yours and on another continent...where you don’t speak the language, where you don’t know the food, where their lifestyle is vastly different from your own. That’s the true test!
Becca.LAGirl I’ve lived here in the USA born and raised and have gone to Mexico many many times and yes I’ve had do take cold showers and had to do many things i didn’t have to do here in the USA but I never bitched about them. The world isn’t only the USA or Europe and if these people expect everything to be the same as in those countries then they should just stay at home. I hear people bitching here in the USA for the dumbest things I get your point but that’s besides the point.. all these so called developed countries have made wimps of many of their citizens that’s just my opinion... it seems they just love to complain be it in other countries or in their own country.
Wow, didn't expect this, but am pleasantly surprised! Wise words with finding the good and the positives in situations. Thank you guys! (I appreciate your editing Greg)
I was born in India, moved to Canada when I was 5. Went back to India when I was 23 and I frankly didn't like it. Having travelled to Mexico twice, can say without a doubt that Mexicans are wonderful people and Mexico is a magical place. Love it's food, culture, history and climate. I truly look forward to setting down roots in 🇲🇽 one day when I am ready to retire. Keep up the great work guys, I am jealous more after seeing every one of your awesome videos.
You not only taught us to appreciate the differences in cities and counties but more over the difference we encounter in 'life'. May we all learn to enjoy and appreciate new and different experiences and people! Feliz Navidad Amigos 🎄
Hi guys I love your videos, I’m glad you guys love Mexico, I haven’t been there a very long time, but you guys made see how beautiful my country is, thanks for showing the good things about Mexico.
Finally subscribed!!! I love the way you guys see things!! I know what you mean about the chárales! I saw those in Patzcuaro lake I believe and couldn’t do it hahah! I do love Tacos de Tripa but I also know it’s a hit or miss... they can either be perfect and delicious or they can be the nastiest thing ever. It has to be Doradita or crispy if that makes any sense in order to be tasty. Anyway keep up the good work guys, and looking forward to your next upload 🤟
Spend 10 years here.....then comment. There are many things to hate here....and its ok to say it....In this day and age people are so scared of saying anything negative even if its true......Lets face it if you said anything bad you would lose subs....So, blame it on yourself and keep it P.C.....and pretty useless.....'What wonderful. open minded people you two are.....' You ticked the box...well done....
You got that right kinetic Kennons...I love Mexico...what is there to hate? I am blessed to be here for a month ....got to see the most beautiful places in the world including Bacalar (thanks to you guys) and las coloradas. Best of all? The FOOD-churros con canela y azucar, marquesitas con cajeta y queso, esquites, platanos con Valentina...a true vegetarian's dream. I have been eating my heart out! But you know what I love most?watching Mexican families together laughing, eating, enjoying. Not something I see much back home. This is the best Xmas gift ever...thank you mexico❤️❤️❤️
Guillermo Camus if there’s one thing I could change and one thing only that doesn’t cost anything and is so simple to do is, like you said the garbage! I hate when people throw garbage everywhere. That is something that is so easy to do but perhaps the most difficult thing to do at the same time... I just don’t get it.
@@guillermoochoa7345 When my friend and I had recently gotten to Mexico we opened up a small neighborhood store. I would watch as the kids would buy a candy and throw the wrapper on the ground right next to the trash box I put out there. I would then pick up that wrapper and give it back to them. I had to teach many kids to use a trash box instead of the ground. This is not something taught in Mexico, but it should be.
Question? Is getting cash any problem? What if I bring a cashier's check for $5_7k to start a new bank acct. There. Is the passport enuff I.d.? I've heard, atm's are not that reliable. I'm staying at least 6 months
Hi guys love your channel. I wanted make a suggestion which was inspired by your opening scene in the park. In my mind behind the camera as you were walking is a public washroom. In April I visited CDMX for a week and never saw a single washroom. It was awkward and sort of dictated how and where we went for how long. In October I went back and discovered my first WC and after that it was amazing, they were everywhere and it seemed the further I got of the beaten path the easier they were to find. Even down by the Zocalo where real estate is at a premium they were easy to find. Although a little cramped (I'm a fatty) they were very clean and this made my second experience in Mexico City very different from the first. I think more people need to know how these little gems work. Have a great day.
I can tell you something I think you guys hate....Ready??!!....The guy that goes around in the morning around 8:00 A.M. "COMPRAMOS MOTORES, BOTES DE ALUMINIO, ALUMINIO, FIERRO VIEJO QUE VENDAN...." While you guys are trying to sleep in because you had too many tacos and Tequila Cuervo last night. Am I right?! or Am I right??!!
Hey guys, I completely appreciate your message here and you’re right in that we should, as people, be more open to new experiences and more curious about places that we visit (or choose to live in), especially if they are very different from our own. Having said that, we are all human and we all have preferences. I’m an American, originally from LA, currently living in CDMX. I really like this city! The nature, the art, people, the food, the weather (more or less...ha!), etc. I don’t like the loud parties that go past 3am or this one “churro man”? That has a horribly high pitched sound he sounds off when he passes by (I was in Roma Nte on day as he passed and I swear I felt like a dog when fire engines go by....my ears were bleeding!). The Tamales Oaxaqueños or the Compramos Estufas y Refrigeradores folks don’t bother me one bit! Haha! 😂 Point is, we are human and we will have things we like and things that frankly we have a very hard time with. However, I agree with another comment here...it’s one thing to express preferences but point out all the positives that outweigh them, it’s another thing to be “bitter” and all you spread is negativity! 🤨 No one needs that. In that case, move. Leave the country and find another bc this one is clearly not for you. I speak from first-hand experience. I lived in London for work from 2016-2017. I was supposed to be there for two years and couldn’t stand living there. The culture was not for me, the quality of food was terrible and they are extremely boring people (from my perspective). Having said that, I can appreciate they have a very specific culture based on many years of history (as does Mexico), gorgeous buildings & architecture and are very sensible people (you can actually have a political discussion in England with a person from the opposite party based on facts, reason and logic-it was soooo refreshing!). My respect 🙌🏼 I was also able to acknowledge they are in a region of the world with very little sun and little history of cuisine/agriculture (so food quality suffers) and the people are who they are...that’s “their” culture and they certainly aren’t going to nor should they have to change it for me! 🤓 I found myself being that person who always had something negative to say or complain about. 🙄 I decided, “I’ve got to get the hell outta dodge! This is not for me!” I ended my tour early, came back home and was happy I did so. Now I’m here and will head off to Germany in a month (where I’ve always had wonderful and friendly experiences) and my point is...we ALL have choices in life. If you’re not happy in a certain country or the culture is not a fit for you (i.e. you see more negatives than positives), leave. Plain and simple. 😁
Hola amigos! Me encanta su mensaje, tienen toda la razón siempre hay que sacarle todo lo bueno a las cosas y recordar las bellas experiencias que nos dejan cada una de ellas. Saludos y felices fiestas ; )
Like a true Mexican, I love my country SO much but I hate several things of my country and countrymen and WE SHOULD change but it is hard to see those changes on people. One thing I want to say to my "paisanos" and I hate the most is : STOP thinking we are better than most countries because we are NOT. We are good making foreigners feel well in our country and we should be better in that way.
I enjoy watching your channel regularly and agree with most of what you say. I certainly love lots about Mexico. With that said, I feel that when you don't point out some negatives, you aren't 100% honest. Everyplace does have some negatives. Why not say "I love this but not that." or This place has the greatest molé but I really didn't like how _ _ _."? As a child, my mom told me to try all foods. She'd say "Try it. It's delicious." Her opinion meant nothing because she liked everything. That's just my opinion. I hope you two are enjoying your time with family in Texas.
I live in Mérida and being regiomontano i have found sooo many diferences and culture almost oposite to mine, i guess in order to make a good living you embrace what you can and avoid the rest
I am living in Switzerland missing my Mexico but I am so happy every time I see your videos. The way that you talk about Mexico and showing the world that we have makes me feel good. Thank you so much 😊 And please you have to go to the CALIFORNIA DANCING CLUB in Mexico City! Because “who doesn’t know the California doesn’t know Mexico” is that people used to say 👍🏼
Do you think you could put a map up of where you are so we can just get an idea of the region you are in? Love you both you are great enjoying this so much! Denise in Guatemala
I'm from Guadalajara and have lived in Chicago for 30 years, I love this country and love Mexico too. I admire you guys because I see that you are some of the most decent human beings in the planet, I wish the rest of the world were as respectful as you toward other cultures and people different than us, you have earned my admiration and I wish I could have you in my circle of friends, you are my "gringos favoritos" Oh, and I hate charales too, even in they are rich in calcium and protein they still are hard to swallow, but I know that a lot of people love them, specially around the town of Chapala in the beautiful state of Jalisco.
¡Muchas gracias por sus comentarios! I’ve observed exactly what you said about Americans who come here to México seem to think that México is just an extension of the USA, albeit a less restricted one. I’m Mexican-American and I have lived here in México for several years and traveled throughout the country. I love it here in México, even with all its problems. I have little tolerance for people who complain about the food, customs, driving, and so many other things about México without understanding anything about our country. I have little tolerance for those who move to México without at least a beginning understanding of the language too and who seem to think everyone in México should behave as they do in the USA and speak English. I have traveled all over the world and lived in the USA, France, Japan, and México. Each country, each area of the world has its own unique contributions to the world.

I hate the idea of a Wall on the border.
Oralee! :)
Great mentality amigos!!
My God on top of the good looks you guys are super wise ❤️
And this is why I love you guys! It’s so refreshing to see Mexico through your eyes, I can’t stand it when people go to a new place with a “city inspector” attitude. Thanks for this video!
Jajajaja exactly.
Yeah, that's not the point of travelling!
aww thank you for your nice words Angela!
7:25 I've said it before, but your positivity is what sets you apart as travel vloggers
aww thank you Rachel!
Thank you John! Very interesting perspectives and thoughts--thank you for sharing!
Darlene OHara Amen
Mandarinas? Lol
It is indeed our goal to seek the good in Mexico and to share every bit of it with you all. Thanks for your kind support, amigas!
The tangerins hohohohoho
Yup Sounds like Tangerine travels! The very reason why I unfollowed them. Kinetic cannons, Erin’s travel, mommy perms, the new travel! Are my forever favorites! Love you guys! ❤️
What I hate about Mexico is I'm not there.
I live close to the border and cross every 2 weeks and love it!!!!
No te entendí ni mergas no se inglés xd
👍👍 Keep on traveling and enjoying this beautiful country Mexico 🇲🇽
I live in Atlanta and I wish I was there in Mexico enjoying food people and so many beautiful places like you guys are enjoying right now.
The reason I subscribed to your channel was the positive energy feeling I got after watching your videos, that's something I really appreciate after a long day in school and working, I know not everything is always positive but your approach and mindset to things situations plays a big part in the experiences you get, you're doing and amazing job sharing that with us, your channel deserves millions of followers and I'm sure you'll be there soon
Gracias por sus videos amigos, felices fiestas!
Wow. I love how openly and positively you both approach life. You guys are awesome!
I have seen you all in coyocan DF. You guys are awesome 👍
Again, I'm talking in general based on my personal observations.
but aren't we all Americans?
Lol other gringos
@@Becky_Cal good thing they can stay away!!! With their GMO food
Some channels show the positive, but also the negative of each place they visit. Others just make good publicity. They are different styles. Personally I prefer that they express their honest opinion, with the good and the bad. The problem is that many people do not like criticism and they take it badly.
Hay muchas cosas muy bonitas de México. Pero también hay muchas cosas muy malas y que no tiene nada de malo odiar.
Hillary always looks at Greg when he talks the way I look at pizza haha✨
hahaha best comment ever!
Juan Franco, Greg always films Hillary walking away from him from the back. I wonder what the story is there.
@@tsukisan6765 I bet he simply loves the looks of his wife, and that includes the derrière. Why not? Would you marry someone you're not attracted to?
Hey Guys I really love both of you. My name is Edson and I live in Portland Oregon and I need to thank you for give me back a little of my country and my city where I grew up.When I was was dating my girlfriend, now my wife for 19 years we used to go to Coyoacan a lot of times.
hi Edson!! Thank you for coming along with us---wow--19 years? Congratulations!
You guys are the best! Thanks for talking so beautiful about my country and people!
Have fun in my city and feliz navidad!
I’m Mexican and you have all my respect for showing the rest of the world what Mexico looks like outside the fancy hotels and fancy tourist areas.Gracias amigos, gente como ustedes siempre serán bienvenidos.
well thank you for coming along with us!
The fact that you keep finding good side of things that may appear not so good at first approach, especially in a foreign country, deserves a respect! Keep trying and exploring things! I Love your trip!Amazing videos ❤
Please Two gringos dancing Salsa or Cumbia!
charales plural and charal just one.
Los Angeles thank you!!
The KK did a huge mistake not asking how eating) Lol

Hola Erin que gusto verte comentando por el canal , saludos y ya regresen a México.
When are you coming back home to Mexico Erin?
Once again you show how much respect you have for the culture and that makes me like the channel even more.
First! Love your videos guys! Saludos desde San Antonio, Texas!
I thought i was going to hear some hard truths and ended lmao, specially about the churros thing in the end. I'm glad you guys are liking Mexico and my people. Hope your visit stays great!
May God bless you guys, and grant you a long and happy life. You're indeed an inspiration to us all. Happy holidays!
Oh please don't end the video like that LOL! Just tell us... Thank you, you guys are by far the best, I've seen many of these with American's in Mexico and you are by FAR the best! Thank you! All the best to you and yours. Bravo y muchas gracias!
Love it that you're growing up as human beings. I appreciate the reminder just what I need it to hear right now. Muchas gracias amigos!!!!
aww thank you so much amigo!
I have watched hundreds of UA-cam videos and not commented on a single one. Thank you. You two are wonderful :)
Por Favor. :)
Mark Twain once said travel is fatal to prejudice. Love you guys!
and that couldn't be more true!
That's the foundation of meditation, mindfulnes and growth. Great job guys!
Great message -- look for the good! What a wonderful couple you are! Keep up the good work.
thank you Adrian!
I love watching your videos! So entertaining and even educational. Thank you for posting! 😀
Awesome video!! I agree...we can definitely program our brains to seek out the negative or positive in all aspects of life. I choose to look at the bright side of things always.
You don't hate nothing about Mexico! I'm Mexican but I got a lot of reasons to hate this country!! Have fun guys great videos
Hello Weritos. Everything you said in this video was interesting.Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you amiga!
Lo que no me gusta de muchos mexicanos es que no pueden tomar criticismo.
Wow, didn't expect this, but am pleasantly surprised! Wise words with finding the good and the positives in situations. Thank you guys!
(I appreciate your editing Greg)
Just feel free to like or dislike... but, siempre amigos, in a constructive way.
You are amazing, guys!
I hated the disregard for pedestrians... especially in Chiapas when the pedestrian was an indigenous person... hopefully it's getting better!

Feliz Navidad to you too, amigo!
Hi guys I love your videos, I’m glad you guys love Mexico, I haven’t been there a very long time, but you guys made see how beautiful my country is, thanks for showing the good things about Mexico.

Great video guys. It looks like u guys enjoy. Everything u do. ❤❤👍👋
Spend 10 years here.....then comment. There are many things to hate here....and its ok to say it....In this day and age people are so scared of saying anything negative even if its true......Lets face it if you said anything bad you would lose subs....So, blame it on yourself and keep it P.C.....and pretty useless.....'What wonderful. open minded people you two are.....' 7 minutes in and I've heard a lot of words that told me the square root of nothing...
What I hate about my country are: the politicians, the people who throw garbage and the peseros, especially those of the Edo. from Mexico
Sounds like Americans. Throw trash on ground and justify it by saying it creates job to clean it up....really?
jack long I've never seen Americans throwing trash on the ground for others to pick up? Strange comment.
I found myself being that person who always had something negative to say or complain about. 😁
You both are just great humans. I really enjoy your videos. Keep going on.
Hola amigos! Me encanta su mensaje, tienen toda la razón siempre hay que sacarle todo lo bueno a las cosas y recordar las bellas experiencias que nos dejan cada una de ellas. Saludos y felices fiestas ; )
Bottom line: you hate charales..😂😂😂
Like a true Mexican, I love my country SO much but I hate several things of my country and countrymen and WE SHOULD change but it is hard to see those changes on people.
One thing I want to say to my "paisanos" and I hate the most is : STOP thinking we are better than most countries because we are NOT. We are good making foreigners feel well in our country and we should be better in that way.
You guys bring me a lot memories from my child hood thanks to sharing yours videos ♥️
Excellent video! You taught me a big lesson! Thank you!
You gave us not only a 'lesson' on enjoying and appreciating life in Mexico, but to appreciate and embrace 'life' despite p
QUE BONITA PAREJA. I LOVE.
What i like about you is the way you analize things from a human nature point of view and Hillary’s smile
What a great message you just provided to all of us!
I am living in Switzerland missing my Mexico but I am so happy every time I see your videos. The way that you talk about Mexico and showing the world that we have makes me feel good. Thank you so much 😊
And please you have to go to the CALIFORNIA DANCING CLUB in Mexico City! Because “who doesn’t know the California doesn’t know Mexico” is that people used to say 👍🏼
I love you guys. Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much
Do you think you could put a map up of where you are so we can just get an idea of the region you are in? Love you both you are great enjoying this so much! Denise in Guatemala

I'm from Guadalajara and have lived in Chicago for 30 years, I love this country and love Mexico too.
I admire you guys because I see that you are some of the most decent human beings in the planet, I wish the rest of the world were as respectful as you toward other cultures and people different than us, you have earned my admiration and I wish I could have you in my circle of friends, you are my "gringos favoritos"
Oh, and I hate charales too, even in they are rich in calcium and protein they still are hard to swallow, but I know that a lot of people love them, specially around the town of Chapala in the beautiful state of Jalisco.
thank you for your kind words, amigo!
Man!. I am touched by what you’ve guys just said about my beautiful Country Mexico!. 🇲🇽
THANK YOU GUYS VERY MUCH!. I am From Chihuahua currently living in Denver CO. But just watching your videos It just make me remember all the good times I’ve experienced through my entire childhood!. I really appreciate you guys. Anyways
