Thank you! I think that it depends on how dedicated you are. I'd say that in order to be able to play this particular song, the minimal time of guitar playing needed to have enough skills to learn it is 2.5 - 3 years on average with a lot of practice. It's definitely not a song for beginners. It requires solid alternative picking technique, consistency with tempo and being able to pass between strings well without making noise (muting). However, starting slowly, you can gradually get better and learn this song. Just take your time.
