    Never would have thought this Tennessee team would have lost to 2007 ALABAMA 41-17.

      Yup the same Bama team that lost to UL-Monroe. I mean 2007 was called the year of the upset

    So strange to see Tennessee in the SECCG. Quite upset my Tide never got the chance to beat them twice in one season.

    We left it all on the field. I don’t know why, but we play LSU tough, regardless of venue, with only 2 exceptions: 2011, against the second best LSU team of all time, and 2017, the most pathetic Tennessee team of all time (and that team still put up a good fight for 3 quarters in the pouring rain).

    Remember the Pick 6 like it was yesterday

  • @aaronbreland8292

    Jonathan Zenon saved LSU that night. Tennessee had no penalties and was controlling the game until they threw the pick 6

    Watching this and thinking about how a 2004 undefeated auburn team couldn’t even play for a title but this 2 loss LSU got to win one. I get that Flynn was out for this game but they really weren’t that great

      As a Bama fan….hilarious. Auburn was without question the best team in ‘04 tho. At least yall got one with Cam.

    Man if Kentucky or Vandy could have just beatin Tennessee, Georgia would have been in this game instead and would have definitely beat LSU and won the natty.

    To this day I still don’t know why #44 Danny McCray #35 Luke Sanders got any playing time for LSU. To me, it seems like they were always out of position and a liability on defense.
    I’ve always said had Ryan Perrilloux started at QB and Keiland Williams started at RB, LSU goes 14-0. Matt Flynn and Jacob Hester did pretty good but Perrilloux and Williams were more talented and more explosive players.

    • @louieo.blevinsmusic4197
      @louieo.blevinsmusic4197 10 місяців тому

      Rlly? IMO yall won cause of Matt Flynn and Hester. Hester was nasty and if you needed a yard he was gonna get it. I lmao when he blew up that UT defender in this game. 😂

    • @bignip2000
      @bignip2000 10 місяців тому

      @@louieo.blevinsmusic4197 Hester was a Fullback running behind a great offensive line. It'll be runs where he'd run into that back of the linemen because he don't have the vision of a true RunningBack. About Matt Flynn, vs Kentucky he was 17/35 130yds 1td 1int and vs Arkansas he was 22/47 209yds 3tds. He completed 56pct of his passes with probably the most talented roster in the country. Perrilloux was a way better passer and Keiland Williams or whoever else was a better runner.

      @@bignip2000 yeah Danny McCray was always getting burnt. The play I remember was against Florida in 2008 when he tipped an interceptional pass that fell in the hands of Percy Harvin and ran for a 70yrd TD
