The temperature offset setting allows you to calibrate the internal and external temperature sensors to reality using a separate thermometer. I found that I had to apply a 3c offset on my caravans internal temperature sensor and about 1c for outside.

Enjoying your videos. The Unicorn Barcelona is at the top of my list for a new van. Keep them coming, the good and bad points on your van would be great. Thanks

Thanks for the comment. I keep meaning to do a video of the inside of our Bailey and give the good and bad points. Maybe I'll try this weekend!

hi we dont put the alde on at night we found that the fluid would bubble in the header tank which in our van is located in the wardrobe at the side of our bed most annoying! but it works about 5-10 degrees out on the display temp when we first had our van we had to call the help line because the heating would not get hot, and we were told to put temp that much higher than the temp we desired, ours is a swift van, great content great vlog

Yes our tank is in the same place, and I sleep that side of the bed :-( The first night we used it I could hear it, but after I'd turned the pump down to speed number 2, things got quieter. I read that when dealer does PDI they run pump at 5 to clear air from system, which all made sense to me. Good to know they actually did a PDI !

Good vlog “G” 👍🏻👍🏻. The heating system on 12v would mean that the pump selection is 12v but the heater itself would need to be run on gas to heat the water. My work colleague has got that controller on his sprite. He’s got it connected to the internet and can do everything from his smart phone. It would probably be more efficient to leave ur heating pump on continuous for smoother control on the room stat 😎👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks, that makes sense, I actually thought the battery might heat the water as well :-) haha. I've seen the smartphone integration, it looks like it uses Truma iNet system, I can't justify the cost vs the benefits. Looks cool though.

Here's the video I did last year. Think I've got a slightly older version. Don't have the Altitude control. You can run it on batterry, but the van's control panel has to be on. Have a look at the comments on my video. I found a few things out as well after doing it. ua-cam.com/video/4LzqMLF1lZk/v-deo.html

I Graham. Just been watching one of your old blogs on the ALDE 3020HE control panel. My latest moho has one of these and i’ve just about learned all i need from it. One annoyance however with it is the loss of the time setting when you switch of the main panel to go out. I picked up a solution from another vlogger and that was to install a battery backup unit. I bought one from ebay for about £7. nothing wrong with it, good product. However, with anything like this i’m always a bit cautious as to weather it might do some harm due to it remaining on all the time and not being factory fitted. So, to be on the safe side, and as it seems only the time setting is lost, and i’ve learned how to quickly reset the time when we return, I decided not to fit it…….What’s your take on this.
Keep em coming, always interesting, Alan

Hi Alan, thanks for watching. I just set the time when we go away, sometimes I dont bother at all. I manually turn it down at night to about 16, then when I got up I set it back to 23.

Morning Graham. I always set the time as the system seems to work better with it set. If i don’t set the time the daytime and nightime on and offs are all over the place. In the winter when we needed heat the time had to be set. Unlike now, in the summer, it dos’nt matter.
All in all i’m quite satisfied with what we’ve got.
We’re just getting ready for a trip to France, we’re leaving on Wednesday via the tunnel. Everything is ok and straightforward apart from the food we can take situation. I think it’s absolutely rediclulous. We have a 6 hour drive down to Folkstone, Then we board the train at 14.00 and arrive at 16.30. Then we have to start shopping for survival supplies somewhere in the great beyond, and set up on our first stopover.
Any food we do take is for our own consumption, so i don’t see what all the fuss is about.
Anyway, once we’ve over there we’ll be fine. Wish us well, we are away for a month, i’ll keep an eye out for anything typically odd French.
All the best with whatever you do. I be watching….Alan

Agree; the food situation is a bit silly. Have a wonderful time, I'm sure you will, we're very jealous. We had a month in France a few years back...
