I'm very happy that he won. He truly deserves it. He is a stunning musician all around not only lyrically but instrumentally. Best of luck for all upcoming adventures and hopefully many more songs to come.
BTW: This might be the first ever casting show I've watched and truly got the vibes. Especially after the initial castings in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and Chicago the show truly picked up and really focused on actual music not only entertainment. With Chance the Rapper in the jury, it sounded already pretty promising from the beginning.

I remember when watching the show, I was rooting for Flawless Real Talk originally, but D Smoke's performance in this song and his Let Migo music video completely made me switch and start rooting for him. I still want Miquel to release the song again with D Smoke's verse over the original with Travis. Their performance was so good, I loved how quickly they clicked and the little Rock, Paper, Scissors game they did during the song

Realized why they had such great chemistry. D Smoke's brother toured with Miguel and D Smoke accompanied on the keys - they came to my city in 2018. 😂 you could tell when they met each other it wasn't a new intro. Even watching R+F season 2, D Smoke's entire catalogue throughout the S1 slaps HARD.
