      Fleetwood Mac has lost the special sound and sparkle without Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham is irreplaceable and to be fired after 40++ years because of Stevie N didn't want him in the group anymore, more fool Mick Fleetwood for agreeing.. Buckingham was Fleetwood Mac.. I am not interested in this rehash of the group. Lindsey was the best attraction, sound, voice and phenominal guitar player.. now the replacement is third rate!!

    I am close to "60" yrs old Now, and The One thing that I liked about this Entire Tour was that it Gave " the Young People" a chance to hear what all the Commotion was About . FM was a band of "5" fireflies that wrote top, Classic Hits about "Love", "Hate", "Loss", "Hope" and" Forgiveness" through their Songs and Personal Life.( It's still there after all this time, and that I am "thankful" for that). And now to the Younger People, You now know why We all took this "Ride" with them from 1975 to 2018. Peace, and LOVE Always !

      Rumors by FM are nothing more than imposters. The OG members are in their 70’s now. They cannot sound the same as they did 50 years ago. Yes, Lindsey leaves a terrible void, but they are still playing to packed houses.

    • @fundies2
      @fundies2 4 роки тому +2

      @@SusanScrapPassion Playing to packed houses does not change the fact that they sound awful. Unfortunately there are lots of people who pay big bucks to fulfill their need for nostalgia. If that's how they choose to spend their money then good for them. However , still doesnt make this weird replica of a past band , some of which ARE imposters (if i may borrow your word) sound good. I saw these guys at the O2 when Lindsey Buckingham was still in the band and Christine McVie had just rejoined. There are certain iconic guitar moments like Gilmour joining the intro to 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' or Page's intro to 'Whole Lotta Love', but, like in this video, they kicked off with 'The Chain' and when Lindsey played the first bars, the hairs really did stand up on the back of my neck. Superb guitarist and this band is just a shadow of the one with him in it.

      You make an excellent point that I wish more people would realise. These are not professional videos and therefore the sound is always going to have imperfections. I personally like to hear the rawness of them. Indeed, when you are there, it's louder and sounds far better, plus there's the excitement of seeing them there on the stage. Professional videos are cherry picked from a number of performances and highly polished to look and sound amazing. Same with all artists of all ages. I'd rather see a good band with a raw/rough edge performing live than some elaborate, younger pop star who probably charges similar ticket prices to lip sync and/or sing half live over playback

I took my daughter to see them at the sold out Wembly gig and we loved it. Especially my daughter Rhiannon when the mac played her song.

      Do you really think, they will play with Lindsey the same way like 40 years ago? No... Because Stevie Nicks will not be able to sing the same tempo and in the same power like 40 years before. They all are around 70. With that age you will not act and sing like 30 or 25. You all here compare things wich you can not compare because of the age and time it passed.

      @@a.karatas953 compare this to the most recent live shows with Lindsey. They were old then, too. LB was the perfectionist who made a HUGE difference in how this band performed. THIS version, is lacking, IMO. A lot of the 'unrest' in the later 'reunion years' was due to LB's taskmaster approach to the music. THIS band really doesn't sound very good.

    First I am not the man in the picture.... My name is BARRY TOLBERT.....James Taylor, you should receive an award for what you have done here. You my man have made it possible for every Fleetwood Mac-Stevie Nicks fan to go to the most recent concert 2019, Fleetwood Mac Fleetwood Mac show. The fans that maybe could not pay the high price tickets or maybe the band was not coming to their state. They NOW can see this truly best ever show that I have seen in my life, my opinion only!! I have shared it with every Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks group that I am a member of and gave you the credit you deserve!! There will be so many happy people around the world thanking YOU for what you shared with ALL of US!!!!!!! I don't know what the first 3 comments below watched but they in my opinion are so lost! The Mac had to come back with or without Lindsey and he was paid handsomely. The 2 new recruits are very happy to be in this band, just ask anybody or THEM. Thanks again. You are the greatest and the greatest gift of all.

I put a LOT of work into these videos in terms of colour and sound editing, and my only wish is for people just like you to enjoy them, while taking your mind off at least for an hour or so life's challenges! Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to share your thoughts! You have NO IDEA how much it is appreciated by me! I have other shows I taped last year if you're interested such as Foreigner, Billy Idol, Def Leppard, Elton John, and Cher. You made my day!
