Another wonderful video! If you have the extra computer power, I wish you would create a Linux Mint vm and cover linux alternatives to office. I don't know if anyone is doing that. Just thinking out loud.

Thank you Alan! I'll keep Linux on my radar, but I'm not sure if I'll have the capacity in the near term.

Great thanks - learned some new things today! Didn't know you could search on hashtags. Also, it seems that 'due date' determines when it appears in your Today list. Of course, if a big piece of work is due on Friday, you'd want to start sooner than Friday. How would you handle that? Break the tasks down into smaller chunks - each with their own 'due date'? Do reminders impact whether it appears in your Today list?

Happy that it helped! The hashtags search is a great feature. The option is yours, the smaller chunk independent tasks with their own due date works. The downside is that they won't be associated with the other task. Another option would be to use the checklist in the task and then add the task to 'My Day' on the days that you want to work on it. The downside of this is that they won't be 'planned.'

Need dates for steps already . Seems like Microsoft has abandon this app already

Dates for subtasks would be helpful, you could submit feedback to MS suggesting this feature.

Oh no that does not sound fun. I do not have the same issue, perhaps check to make sure that there are no updates as that can cause issues sometimes. Or potentially available storage on your phone as well.

Just found your content. I like your style and presentation. I struggle with wanting a paper planner vs. Digital. Do you have a method for Planning your week, Month, Qtr with Todo? My struggle is if it is in a folder, i never goto to it. #lazy

Thank you for the comment. This is a common struggle and everyone is different. I would say that you need to do what is the easiest for you, the least amount of friction. I do my weekly / monthly planning within the Loop app on my phone and I create task lists that sync with Planner or To Do. Then each day I review Planner in the morning to see my tasks and then I actually jot down my top 3 tasks for the day on a piece of paper that sits in front of me. I find that this eliminates distractions and helps me focus on my biggest priorities. So I use a combination of digital and paper. I hope that this helps!
