It was totally fun to make--I don't think I made a better video in my entire "career." I also directed Nausea and Screamager for Therapy? Top blokes, and Fyfe is no doubt one of the most demented and intense drummers ever to play.
Dude, Road Rash was the exact reason I was able to find this song today... I remembered loving all of the songs, especially the ones from Paw... Paw and this band are so underappreciated...

The definitive drummer of the nineties. Listen and fall down to your knees folks! Fyfe Ewing is a GOD.
fyfe certainly is :-) one of the most creative, inventive and original drummers for a very long time, he inspired me to pick up the sticks. Listening to and working out the babyteeth album is eons better than any drum lesson :-)
Also, if you can find it, buy Paw's albums - Dragline (TOP album!), Death To Traitors (Good but not as good as Dragline), Home Is A Strange Place (another TOP, CLASSIC album), and also Keep The Last Bullet For Yourself (GREAT covers and some B-sides). Unfortunately they're not easy to find any more, but you won't be disappointed with them. Fuckin' LOVE Paw... =D
Therapy? will always be one of those bands that just never got the recognition they deserved in the States. This song still gets stuck in my head out of the clear blue 20 years later.
Excellent. Makes you realise how good Therapy? were back then; I've always preferred their early stuff. Fyfe Ewing was a superb drummer too, so original.
I wonder what Rhonda and Bose think of me after all these years? And I get that people had heard of the music independently of Road Rash. But please be glad we enjoy the music and we’re exposed to it. I think of the different piss ant, small communities I grew up in...where Clint Black was the most popular artist...and its through alternative methods in which I was able to find the music I enjoyed. That included the Road Rash soundtrack.
Had their album, Trouble gum. So good. Road Rash put me onto these guys and other bands. Makes me miss the EA that gave a fuck about putting out good shit
This always got the crowd going when I used to Dj in Liverpool, top tune! also saw them live at the Royal Court in Liverpool, forget the year , 30 years of drink and drugs will do that kids !!! Lol
haha!!..i'm the lil' blonde kid pushin the wheelchair with the girl! one of the best/funniest days and i got the day off school to do it! (im actually wearing my school uniform) i c sum cast/crew r on here so howdy to you guys! old man in the beard was hilarious between takes, his old 'wife' is the woman on bench in Channel 4's floating hedges/bowling green inter-programmes clip. loads a cool people and fucking loud music!! think we arrived 9am n left at about 2am the next day!..great times!
Thanks man. Myself and others are compiling a tour history thing for the band. They supported the Babes on 9/8/91 in London, so I'm guessing the Belfast show would've been August '91 or there-abouts!
OMG I FINALLY FOUND IT!!! Not gonna lie, this song and the Paw songs from Road Rash have been stuck in my head for years, and I've been searching for this song and couldn't find it because I kept searching for Toothgrinder and nothing came up, LoL. These guys are awesome!!
Fyfe Ewing was summat else to behold. The first gig I went to was Stone Roses in Leeds. My mate goes "this band are cool. good choons & the drummer's ace (Reni) - he sings too". Then I saw Larne's finest. Best drummer ever. Absolutely smashed the crap out of his kit. Whilst singing. And wearing no shoes.
But there isn't a drummer like Fyfe Ewing (perhaps John Stanier, ex-Helmet). His drum tecnique on the "Nurse" album isn't only fascinating and inspiring, it is totally amazing. The energy and the high tuned snare drum is Fyfe's trademark. God, I miss him.
@bonniebyler Hey Bonnie! I just found this on youtube..I was the crazy Yank who directed this nutty video...you were fuken amazing and MADE the video as good as it is!
one of my favourite bands of all time :-) the babyteeth album just really set the scene for everything to come! why on earth did Fyfe quite drumming, he was an abolute genius, he was and remains the biggest influence on my drumming today.
Yay! Someone else who appreciates Paw! They were such a fucking good band... I really really really miss them. They got back together in 2008 to play about 3 or 4 shows, but they only played locally (in Lawrence, Kansas) then went on a hiatus again. =O( I'd lop off a limb to see them. My mates saw them play the UK in 1994 and to this day they say Paw were the friendliest band they've ever met. They bought food, drink & drugs for my friends! As well as drove them to a couple of gigs on the tour bus!
This song along with some of the heavy scenes in road rash traumatized me as a kid that i would always turn off my playstation instantly whenever id lose or get busted or wrecked, in fear of watching the following scenes 😅😂 i cant explain how it is to as a 5 year old kid getting exposed to some of the harsh stuff of the world like this Played road rash alot with my dad tho and made great memories with both of us having a common love for bikes
It was totally fun to make--I don't think I made a better video in my entire "career." I also directed Nausea and Screamager for Therapy? Top blokes, and Fyfe is no doubt one of the most demented and intense drummers ever to play.
You directed this video???!! Wow
Thank you very mutch
Great video! Remember taping on Raw Power and rewatching loads!
Road rash game introduced me to so many good bands. I went out and bought the Paw CD and this one as well. Great song!!!!
Wendell Gordon Paw are excellent
Paw was awesome, too bad he had to start teaching
Same here, Paw was the shit
Dude, Road Rash was the exact reason I was able to find this song today...
I remembered loving all of the songs, especially the ones from Paw...
Paw and this band are so underappreciated...
The definitive drummer of the nineties. Listen and fall down to your knees folks! Fyfe Ewing is a GOD.
Seeing the words LOSER. WRECKED. BUSTED. on the screen after a race. Pretty humiliating! Hearing tunes like this added to the effect
Road Rash!!!
Best soundtrack of any game ever!
I played the shit out of that game as a kid. I firmly believe that's the main reason I ride motorcycles these days
When youre getting busted or wasted....aaah good memories
Axl 👍😆
🔥BUSTED🔥
Oh Guys, that game was so fucking awesome and badass... My childhood... My love for bikes start in that moment.
Same here man. Introduced me to some great bands too
'Nurse' is a phenomenal Therapy? album. Every song is essential in that they completely stand out as truly original for when they were written.
Surgically precise drumming. And rhythm to play all day!
My fellow lefty Fyfe and love his drumming just lays down some killer beats
Fyfe is just awesome, just loved his skill in my youth
+BasqueNYC and then he left :( one of a kind
underrated. Just listen to his flams in Nowhere
Those signature taut drums definitely leant early Therapy?'s music an air of tension.
They're quarter-toms brah. and definitely true!
fyfe certainly is :-) one of the most creative, inventive and original drummers for a very long time, he inspired me to pick up the sticks. Listening to and working out the babyteeth album is eons better than any drum lesson :-)
@Benson801 Hey Benson! I was the crazy American bloke who directed this video...still the best thing I ever did! You were AWESOME
Fyfe is such a great drummer....
0:19 matched perfectly with the tach reving up and the bike burning tire on one of the Road Rash pre-race vídeos!
My taste in music brought me here.
fuck yeah!!!
Road rash brought me here. Good taste game
Luckily, I didn't have to play Road Rash to find this, as I used to listen to it on my stereo while playing Crazy Cars 3.
Master!

Go Go Go....Go Baby, Go!!
GO BABY GOOOOOOO!!!

Best drummer to come out of the island of Ireland
Road Rash PS1 Brought me here
I do believe if it wasn't for Roadrash ,I wouid never have heard this. Thanks to them,I hang on for every last note.🎼
This was on that old Road Rash video game. That's how I remember this song
I wonder what Rhonda and Bose think of me after all these years? And I get that people had heard of the music independently of Road Rash. Therapy? Still making great new music almost 20 years on! Respect.
this video is awesome. The early 90's was the pinnacle of music videos
During the '90's Therapy? were one of my top bands. This one's f*cking great and Fyfe as always rocks! I was lucky to see them live in '94!
Love them. Saw them in '94 in San Francisco. I remember this song, one of my favorites.
This always got the crowd going when I used to Dj in Liverpool, top tune! also saw them live at the Royal Court in Liverpool, forget the year , 30 years of drink and drugs will do that kids !!! Lol
i had this 1st time around n it still sounds good to me drummer is awesome and song is nostalgic overload
Oh God, there is no fucking drummer better than Fyfe Ewing!

Surgically played Guitar and the bass is just exquisite 🤘

timeless!
Fyfe Ewing ... what a drummer!
Thanks man. Myself and others are compiling a tour history thing for the band. They supported the Babes on 9/8/91 in London, so I'm guessing the Belfast show would've been August '91 or there-abouts!
YEA! ROAD RASH MAN!!! OLD SCHOOL..sht i remember being a lil kid playing that game and listening to this music ....
OMG I FINALLY FOUND IT!!! Not gonna lie, this song and the Paw songs from Road Rash have been stuck in my head for years, and I've been searching for this song and couldn't find it because I kept searching for Toothgrinder and nothing came up, LoL. These guys are awesome!!

used to go to a club on a friday and take a couple of grams of base speed and lsd tabs and listern to music like this it was so intense but i loved it
"I'm a teeth grinder. In my sleep, I grind my teeth"
" Nurse " is criminally overlooked
one of my favourite bands of all time :-) the babyteeth album just really set the scene for everything to come! why on earth did Fyfe quite drumming, he was an abolute genius, he was and remains the biggest influence on my drumming today.
Watching this video before bed gives me some REAL nightmares. I mean weird shit.
@ARKOIA Fyfe still plays, he's a drummer-for-hire
Magnificent therapy? at their supreme best
holy crap, that face at 0:56 - 0:58 is amazing -- this whole music video is amazing! MAN I miss the 90's so bad with this!
this song brings back so many memories. I saw them at a Trip to Tipp I think. Wow where have the years gone
Heard of this band from Skull Toaster on twitter...friggin awesome
They always have excellent drums, but man, Fyfe all the way.
I love T? as well - and it's good to see they're still going strong :D
"I'm a weed grinder. When I smoke I grind my weed"
Ministry tribute...hell yeah...
Wow, hearing this takes me back!
This song changed my life - wouldn't be into the music I'm into now if it wasn't for this! Love Therapy?!
OLD THERAPY?One of the BEST song EVER!!

RAT BIKES #ROADRASH
Una canzone ed un disco che mi hanno cambiato la vita, da quel lontano '92.
Road Rash
Yes! Road Rash introduced me to so many awesome bands in the mid nineties. And now, in my sleep, I grind my teeth.

This song brings back childhood memories of the Playstation game Road Rash. Good times.

This song along with some of the heavy scenes in road rash traumatized me as a kid that i would always turn off my playstation instantly whenever id lose or get busted or wrecked, in fear of watching the following scenes 😅😂 i cant explain how it is to as a 5 year old kid getting exposed to some of the harsh stuff of the world like this
