If you are SF, you are definitely not a lone wolf. Self-sufficient, yes, lone wolf no.

@richardbale3278 copy that. I served from 1985-2005. Last 3 enlistments I was in the SF community. Went from 160th SOAR to C Co 75th Rangers to 1SFOD-D. Few different MOSs. Started 93P & ended 18Z. "Lone Wolf's" were weeded out during selection at all stages. We didn't want you if you couldn't work with a team.

@@grogvaughan5649 I attended DLI with a group of SF guys. I learned a lot from them. Not about the combat stuff, but rather from the mentality and ethos. They were thinking warriors, the most dangerous sort.

@CosmicTales7 I don't know have opportunity that these stories come up, but an actual human narration would serve. Step up!

I would not be surprised if there really is a covert unit called the boogymen.

Nobody prepares with urgency and 'precision'
Quit using throwaway words that add nothing. A reader could already surmise that special operatives wouldn't be hillbilly border guards who might be sloppy.

Repetitive ideas and phrases as in this story and so many others is, IMO, symptomatic of younger generations relying on the automated writing programs to write their material for them instead of working to develop their own voice and skills

I admire people who have the guts to try things. And I recognize that you created an original plot. However you have to admit that this outcome is less than desired.
I don’t know the goal of this HFY ‘Writing Prompt’ project, but isn’t time to use another text generator? This gets boring, all those platitudes over and over again…
If I would participate in such an endeavor I would try to make a difference. This way of working is outdated in a big way.
You know, I envy you. You, the creator of this plot. I wish I could come up with an original plot myself but I am afraid my mind does not works this way. I truly hope that you find a way to work out your idea’s in better way. Maybe write out a story like this in your own words instead of depending on a mediocre text generator?
Or do I completely miss the goal of this project?

Derivative drivel there are now dozens of stories full of the same hiderously trite cliches. Alarms all ways blare, there is always steely determination, everyone now has a fighting chance.

More computer generated trash....at least I hope it's a computer responsible I'd hate to think a human author was this incompetent outside the Disney corporation at least.
