Oh! This is such a sweet and atmospheric song. It would be hard not to love it or to have it form visuals in your mind as you listen. If it doesn't put you in mind of a smoky piano bar in an upscale restaurant, late in the evening, you are just not a dreamer at all. Thank you.

I adore this song. Def jazzy. Just Freddie on vocals & piano, Roger with a light brush of the drums, and John, ohhh that bassline! There's a lovely live version of this one out there.

Queen has so many styles of music and how Freddie can sing. Seaside Rendezvous is another great classic!!!

This is one of my favourites and most of the Queen fans have a very similar image to yours with the bar and piano, etc. 😁
You mentioned last time, that you love said songs, here is another one: One Year Of Love written by John Deacon, you will love it.

Yes - and also "All Dead" by Brian May.. about his childhood cat "Pixie"... animated video created years later, and it's fantastic!

I bought this in 1978. Not a bad song on this album.
Sheer Heart Attack, It's Late, Get Down, Make Love being the standouts on this album.
And News Of The World was a gatefold sleeve record, so there's much more great art work inside.
Golly, I haven't heard that song in years, forgot how great that album was/is.

This pic is from a Sci-fi artist...Frank Kelly Freas...an illustration from the short story “The Gulf Between”...a story about a future society in which robots can be doctors or pilots etc.,......how prophetic was that...AI anyone?......Queen were much much more than a rock band...for instance the song “The Fairy Feller’s Master-Stroke” was based on a painting of the same name by the artist Richard Dadd, (1855-64).....that’s just a taste of the people behind the band🤩

Love this song. Queen were so adept at trying different genres. Try Dreamers Ball and Seaside Rendezvous. Also Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon

Since you put that on your playlist, I assume you liked the intimate instrumentation of it. Perhaps you should give "You Take My Breath Away Live At Hyde Park 1976" a try.

The thing about Queen is that they could do every genre and could not be boxed. This song is one of my favorites from them. Thanks for the reaction! Might want to try Dreamers Ball and It's Late.

There isn't a bad song on this album. Starting with "Sheer Heart Attack", oddly not on the album of the same name, to "All Dead, All Dead" to "It's Late" to "Spread Your Wings" to the classics "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions".
The album kinda flew under the radar after two monsters before it "A Day at the Races" & "A Night at the Opera".

thanks, Critical! This is indeed beautiful - a showcase for Freddie's vocals and also his piano skills! I enjoy your reactions...another interesting and great song from this album is Brian May's "All Dead" - (Brian also had a great singing voice... in fact, still does - and Freddie's piano is wonderful) years later, there was a video created for it that is really fantastic.. check it out when you have time & inclination... ua-cam.com/video/l_6AC2u0E4E/v-deo.html
