i saw this game on CGR (lord karnage) a couple years ago. it definitely has carnevil and gauntlet dark legacy vibes from the boss design and the style of fun gorey fight imagery. it sadly just makes me want a port of carnevil on the wii/wii U or possibly a remake with some more levels and such, but the liscence to it is owned by 3 guys from midway games who i'm not sure even have the rights paperwork anymore, so i'm not sure who some dev should go to in order to aquire the rights to reuse assets from it or redistribute it... hopefully carnevil is just considered abandonware now so we can just port a mame ISO onto a mamemulator and add a few new rom hack materials on there so it works on the wii with a cursor. i can do it on the computer easily, so someone at nintendo can surely do it and then sell it on the online market.
A classic fave on my 3ds. I got into this game when I had the ol days and fell in love with it. I do enjoy dark twists to fairytales. Also you are a LEGEND to me cause I can never fight the wolf.
