Hi Ashley, the redundant link does work yes :) After re-watching the end I am fairly certain it had more to do with BGP hold-timers. Since your BGP peer will remain in an established state until the hold timer expires and no new packets are received or if you are running BFD and this picks up that the link has dropped. If we just waited longer the link would have failed over :P
@@TheNetworkBerg thanks for the explaination. Hope it will be covered in your next tutorial. Thanks always for your great effort and informative videos.
Hi again. For those of us running multihomed BGP instances (primary and failover using LACP), is there a temporary fix for the lack of route marking for IPv6, or are we basically going to have to wait for RouterOS 7? In my case, I have two separate bonding uplinks to my ISP advertising two separate v6 prefixes on two separate ASNs.
You're a life saver. I was having some issues with BGP route filtering and this video helped me to solve it. Thanks.
Great video!
Great video, thanks a lot for the time and effort put into it.
Glad it was helpful!
Well explained. thanks for your effort! did you managed to get the redundant link to work?

Sadly I think you need to wait for V7, though if I figure something out I will gladly share it with you.
