Good Morning! I am incredibly happy that they have this feature. Being one of your new snake keeping customers, I can't imagine the scramble I would have been faced with to get her set up if she was shipped right away. I cannot thank you enough for the amazing advice, support, and patience you've had with my questions. The extra time you've spent with me has allowed me to make sure I give her the BEST possible care. Luna's enclosure is almost set up, just waiting on the radiant heat panel! Can't wait to meet her ❤
Can't wait for you to get her! I'm thinking she should be ready to go next week. Just let me know when that panel arrives and you've got everything up and running and we'll go from there 😁👍
When I was breeding my longcoat German Shepherds, we did our pups similarly. We didn't advertise, though. It was all through word of mouth, and we had a "general" waiting list of usually 2 years. We had a pretty heavy screening process and then took a deposit if you passed that. When a pregnancy was confirmed, we announced the breeding and started contacting the deposit list in order of who had been on the list the longest. There were deposits for male and separate deposits for females. This gave us an idea of who was interested in that pairing since some people were waiting for certain females to have pups. We started posting pics and videos at 3 days old and every 2 weeks. Each pup was given a color coded collar when they were born so depositors could see behaviors. We temperament tested the pups so if you had your eye on a certain pup but you were say 70, took short walks and needed a lap dog but had your eye on the pup that was testing out to be a high drive animal that would need a job a plenty of exercise, we would help you choose a different pup or give you your deposit back. Sounds mean, but that's life. We flew our pups going to other states until a few airlines killed a few dogs. After that, we hired a driver. It is a common practice with dog show dogs. It was actually less expensive and less stress on the pup. The driver gave each pup attention and took the pup right to your door. Seeing how snakes or other live animals are shipped was interesting. We found that UPS, as far as flying went, was better than any other air travel for our pups. Thanks for sharing 👍
Man I hope she can send in a video update with pedals, that letter from the little girl genuinely broke me. The feelings of joy, sadness and relativity overcame me
I like to put a copy of the shipping label on top of the foam before sealing the box, that way if there's any shipping damage there's a copy there to finalize the shipping process
I think that's a great Feature MM has started to offer. I hadn't realized that until I watched this video. I used to always wait to post my animals until they were established. That can take several weeks and even months for those animals that have issues eating.
This is the first of your videos I've seen. I love your story about the 12yo girl, and I need to find it. I'm not a snake lover, I don't like them at all, but I'm addicted to the many channels of people who care for the snakes. So these videos make me agree about how pretty some patterns are, and I've found a way to appreciate snakes, but I hate the tubs that keep the snakes in the dark, no change of scenery, etc.
Good morning kusko great live stream last night. Peddle is gorgeous and she is going to a very great home. That girl definitely has a huge heart and I feel horrible for her being bullied. My thoughts and prayers goes out to her. Have an awesome day
The utility of that feature depends a lot on the species and if you can quickly/reliably establish it. There's a lot of potential for ill will if you can't deliver on a snake you sold in a timely manner. And, the point about keeping your funds separate until the sale is complete is 100% important.
Was kind of on the defense when it comes to all the changes happening to MM but i feel like those are some awesome new features so far! Also, Petal is absolutely adorable 🥰 i have no doubt that she will bring so much joy and comfort to that little girl!
Funny that I just found this video. I was hoping to start selling mourning geckos on Morph Market as soon as I get my girls later this year. P.s. Can you do a video on how to properly sell/package/ship reptiles? 😊
I just got a little girl one of my baby bearded dragons for her 8th birthday 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 the smile on her face is why i do this ! The biggest blessing Iv ever he’s , is the ability to help others man 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 dam it’s good for the soul ❤️🔥
Any protocol left unchecked, even one, or half of one, is left then on the shoulders (usually) of people who do not know how to care for their snake. The breeder understands what species of snake and the understand the cost of unnecessary risks. On one hand, you are saying it might be better to wait, but--- I did not "hear" anything after the but The "but" comments are the ones where you need to pay attention. These delicate snakes are in your hands after you get them stable. Make certain you have documented everything, not just the basic stuff, but the husbandry, personality, and kind of care (e.g., tank/tub, mulch or disposable toilettes). There is so much more I could say. These snakes that are leaving Florida should be tagged with a microchip, and their health verified by a Florida vet. Note any nuances of the baby snake (such as the snake is scared if you run your hand over his head (this usually means late social work, or none at all). There are other reasons. You cannot skimp on these delicate babies--you are all they have. It is in your hand to do the right thing. We release our snakes anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks, sometimes a couple of day short, a couple of days long. Really work with the baby, get him as comfortable as he can be, THEN set the date for the flight out. You will have plenty of time to call back later and check on the little guy. Well Wishes! ~Fey!
Good morning brain kuzko good news I'm going to the animal con I am in florida now have a super day have a great day have a nice day have a awesome day have a cool day brain kuzko kuzko

I put the label off to one side so it doesn't get cut if they inspect the box, but Great idea! I should do that too

I am glad they are doing this. I have the hardest time selling babies I hatched and others at expos. Contact is so limited.

As someone who is going to be actively scouring MM for Rosy boa in a couple of months, I really like this feature.
Wow! Sooooo fast.
Very happy for Petal’s new owner tho. ❤️

Safe to assume you haven't seen this video? ua-cam.com/video/y1WMQTuvUzo/v-deo.html
He went back & unbanned NERD... he did a video where he talked to Kevin about everything that happened...
Morph markets new format sucks...
That's very constructive criticism 😂
😅

Do you think reptiles should not be sold?
@@BrianKusko Only morphs shouldn't be, they bring in the bad element.
