Samsung didn't mention this In unpack event but they upgraded the haptic feedback mechanism and some comparisons show that it is much improved from s21, give it a shot ! Can't wait to try when I get mine

Have my phone...so far it simply reminds me of my Note 10 plus which I'm trading in and will soon have to send off to Samsung. It was a great phone! Hope this one proves to be better. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and traded it for the s22 ultra. Love the iPhone, it’s very good. But i had a Galaxy s10+ before that and I’m assuming there are some different things with the s22 ultra and I’m sure this video will be very helpful. Thank you a lot

That having been said thank you very much for this video I just learned that you can take the s pen out and write on your screen without having to unlock I've had a note device for the last 2 years and didn't know that. BTW, I've been a cellphone owner since year 1997 and I've NEVER ONCE lost my phone! It's totally inconvenient to set a lock screen since I'm ALWAYS looking at it or using it. Since I haven't lost my phone in 24 years, I'm unlikely to lose it in the next 24 years!
Hey man, great stuff! I've been a OnePlus fanboy for years now (currently on the O.P. 7pro) and sadly it's time to move on. Waiting on the S22 ultra to be delivered, really stoked! One Plus, as you know, is a stripped down version of Android and with Samsung being feature rich, this video is extremely helpful. I'd figure it out eventually, but this tutorial will save me lots of time so I can just drive in and start tweaking. Good stuff here. Excellent job.
For the home screen segment, there is an option to change the app drawer to a vertical one instead of the horizontal one set by default, using the goodlock app and specifically the home up app within goodlock, you can enable 'apps list' to get the vertically organised app drawer if that suits you better.

Great video, obviously way more than just the first ten things, but it's good to get everything setup. It's a good intro to Samsung and Android. Especially of you're new to that stuff, but it will be very familiar if you already have another Samsung phone.

I’m usually not a fan of Samsung’s bloatware or native apps, but Samsung Free is actually underrated. It’s basically free “cable” TV with live channels. You can watch shows, movies, novellas, korean dramas, and more! I was pleasantly surprised when I set it up after my girlfriend asked me what it was. 🙂
one important thing i have noticed with the 22 compared to the 21 is the vibrate is much less intrusive - this is something MKBHD mentioned. you may miss notifications. no idea why they changed it

Your video was long & great for a beginner on this type of phone. Perhaps you intend to get into this in the future, but I have been using google messenger on my samsungs for YEARS, and google screwed it up royally a few months ago. Today I traded my Note9 in for the S22 Ultra where they have now made that the default messenger; It's not only awful (can't get any notification sounds for it), and you can't even uninstall the damned thing! Under Notification categories I only have 3 available settings, and non let me get into sounds. I contacted google with this problem over a dozen times, over the past 2 months and they are absolutely no help what-so-ever!!! Samsung mgt must be out of their minds making this the default messenger (not that theirs is so great)!!! Perhaps you can find out how to fix this mess. I have Subscribed, because you do seem to know what you are doing, even more than me! Thanks much! Steve After a few hours I did find the settings for notification sounds for the app; it isburried quite deep within! REDICULOUS!!!!
Very helpful thus far, thank you. Here's the weird thing: at 7:37 you are showing us the "roaming clock" clock setting, but my Lock Screen page doesn't have that listed as an option. I searched for it but it just links back to the App info/clock, page where roaming clock is not listed either. I am totally mystified and frustrated as I really want to be able to use that feature.
OK, just checked & I also see the following: settings > lock screen > clock style. (And roaming clock, right under clock style... to toggle on & off. It'll show the time at home & the time where you're roaming.)

Just got mine delivered about an hour ago. Really debating returning the black one I ordered for the green one now or just returning the phone altogether and keeping my Note 20 Ultra till it dies. Really unsure of what I want to do now.
Overall great guide. Wish you didn't skip over / write off some of the Samsung specific features. Some are gimmicky, but at least explaining what they are would be nice. Also you skipped over one of the very few 100% brand new features on this phone (since it comes with 4.1 first) and that is Smart Widgets aka iOS style Widget Stacks. When you added the widget I thought you were going to get into that, and the prompt was there, but then you just closed out and moved on.
Yes! Also, while he was on the panel settings, I thought he'd teach them how to turn the device off... it was right there! (I mean yes, it can be set to use the power button, but it's originally in the panel screen, after the second down swipe, if I'm not mistaken.) I must say, that I've been a Samsung user before the S5 (always Android user, although I have 3 IPhones that I'm getting rid of... gift/found/my other half's) & he DID teach me a couple things!

for the shortcuts, id ALWAYS have the phone one and camera one.. personally i think the phone for safety.. eg.. emergancy calls without unlocking phone (you still have to unlock to make personal calls) - camera - as its faster then double tapping the power button sometimes,

Also you skipped over one of the very few 100% brand new features on this phone (since it comes with 4.1 first) and that is Smart Widgets aka iOS style Widget Stacks. When you added the widget I thought you were going to get into that, and the prompt was there, but then you just closed out and moved on.

Also, while he was on the panel settings, I thought he'd teach them how to turn the device off... it was right there!
(I mean yes, it can be set to use the power button, but it's originally in the panel screen, after the second down swipe, if I'm not mistaken.)
I must say, that I've been a Samsung user before the S5 (always Android user, although I have 3 IPhones that I'm getting rid of... gift/found/my other half's) & he DID teach me a couple things!

I traded my S21 Ultra in for a IPhone 13 Pro Max and I just ordered a Green S22 Ultra because I don’t really care for the IPhone. Can’t wait for it to come in so I can switch once again. I just wish the Ultra had a flat screen like the regular S22 and S22+. Thanks for the video 👍

for the shortcuts, id ALWAYS have the phone one and camera one.. personally i think the phone for safety.. eg.. emergancy calls without unlocking phone (you still have to unlock to make personal calls) - camera - as its faster then double tapping the power button sometimes,
