Dixieland Duet /played by a trumpet made 1923/ 100年前の🇺🇸B♭/Cトランペットで「ディキシーランド・デュエット」のテーマを吹いてみたよ

This piece was written by Frank N. Ellis for duet, such as Trp/Trb, Cl/Trb, Alto/ Tenor sax. I played Trp part only.
I tried to play with a taste of Dixieland jazz 1920’s.
フランク・N・エリスという作曲家による作品で、本来はデュエット曲です（トランペットやクラリネット＆トロンボーン、アルト&テナーサックスなど）。吹いているのは上パートです。
1920年代をイメージして吹いてみましたが、、どうでしょうか。
このトランペットは、アメリカ・H.N.White社による、Master model “Vocal” というモデルで、ちょうど100年ほど前の楽器。シリアルによると1923年頃の製造です。
チューニングスライドにロータリーがついており、B♭/Cの切り替えができるようになっています。
曲の途中で一音上げていますが、このロータリーを使って同じ運指で吹いています（本来1番管・3番管も変えるので、やや音程悪しです。すみません🙏）。
この時代に見られる特徴的な楽器です。
縁あって私のところにやってきたこの楽器。おそらく、100年の間、ここに来るまでにいろんなことを乗り越えて来たのかと思います。
そして今、こうしてまた曲を奏で聴いてもらえる機会ができました。
100年経っても、楽器は生きています。もちろん寿命はありますが、商売や見せ物のために潰されるようなことがあっては、断じてならないと思います。
愛するものたちを大切にしたい。その思いを紡いでいけば、これからどんなに大変なことがあっても、きっと乗り越えていけるはず。そんな思いを込めて吹いてみました。
This trumpet is called “Master model Vocal" by H.N. White in the United States, and it is an instrument that is about 100 years old. According to the serial number, it was manufactured around 1923. The tuning slide has a rotary bulb so that you can switch between B♭ and C. I'm raising one note in the middle of the song, but I'm using this rotary bulb to blow it with the same fingering (some fingers changed because the pitch is bad). It is a distinctive instrument found in this era.
This instrument came to me by chance. I think I've probably overcome a lot of things in the past 100 years to get here. And now, I have the opportunity to play this fortunately.
Musical instruments have a limited lifespan, but if you take good care of them, they will still be alive even after 100 years.
They must not be destroyed for the sake of business or show.
No matter how hard things get in the future, I'm sure we'll be able to overcome them If we connect our feelings of valuing what we love. I tried to play this with such thoughts.
