Thanks for listening Rod. I’m 75, one of the reasons I play is to exercise my mind. Music is a great stimulus for the mind. If you enjoy it keep playing.
I’m 66 and just TRIED to start playing a year ago. No prior music knowledge at all. I’d be absolutely ecstatic if I could ever even reach 10 to 25% of your talent level. Keep playing my friend. (even if you do look like a Cleveland Browns fan). Go Bears! 😀
I have another subscriber, BruceWL, who started playing after he retired. He played for 2 years before finally taking some lessons. See his comments and reply in the Neon Moon video. ua-cam.com/video/SlYCUPYGgKk/v-deo.htmlsi=B4cH1qZiJSJT2V__
Yes. It’s a TWO10. Purchased it a little over a year ago. My first new horn since I bought my mark 6 in 1972. It’s a nice horn but so much heavier than my Selmer.
Great sound. I’m a beginner @ 66, but hope to continually improve. Thanks for your inspiration!!

Beautiful sound. Looks like you are playing a Yani tenor. Is that correct?

Thanks for the insight, but I did start (and currently take) with lessons. I didn’t want to learn bad habits.
