Home Goods has book boxes now. I think they look more like real books and were a fraction of the cost of the Amazon ones.
Oh yeah! You must take your shoes off in my house. BUT, I also have the shoe booties that people can use if they MUST keep their shoes on. I like to walk around barefoot or with footies on so the last thing I want is a dirty, grimy, germy floor from people shoes. 🤢😵💫
Actually, I’d rather you walk around my house in street shoes than with your stinky dirty bare feet. Or your smelly sweaty socks.

Bottoms of shoes are the most disgusting! I treat them as if they were toxic waste when I pack, when I put them on and off and I most definitely do not walk further than my threshold with them on! Completely agree with you on that one 😉

I have a push button extension cord for my Christmas tree. Love it. Just step on the button to turn the lights on and off instead of having to reach down and unplug it, and stick tree needles in your eyes. Also, it is green with a red button. 🎄
When I’m the guest at someone’s home I follow their lead- if their shoes come off my shoes come off.
When it’s my home- shoes come off. And don’t ask me if you should take off your shoes 🙄😂😂☺️

Love you Kiva but the shoe shortage with everyone's shoes piled on top of the others is a big no for me. I can't imagine the smell that emanates when that lid is opened.

We do not ever wear outdoor shoes in our home, I do ask guests to remove their shoes. I definitely have and issue with germs. I also never wear shoes in someone else’s home.

No one should wear shoes in the house! I’m a nurse and we know how nasty the floor is. I ask my kids (when they forget to take their shoes off) if they wound lick the pavement outside? It’s the same thing!!!
I take off my shoes when entering someone else’s home. And I expect the same. I also keep shoe coverings in my home as well. Specifically for workers that might be entering but my family and friends know. No shoes!

I have friends from Asia and they introduced me to "shoes off - slippers on". I have a small cabinet with silk and felt slippers in many sizes and colors. Friends who come often left their own to wear and they are lined up for them when they come. It is also a nice gesture.❤

Ah! I have 2 of the blue slim vacuum nozzles. 1 for the kitchen only and the other for the laundry lint and dust in crannies in the rest if the house. I absolutely love them!!!❤

You shouldn't smoke in someone's house or wear shoes in their home! You actually shouldn't smoke at all, but that is your choice in your home!
Laundry!!!!! I just started putting distilled white vinegar (2 cups) in my wash - OMG everything is coming out so much cleaner. trust me you must do this.
Does it leave a vinegar smell? Do you add it to the detergent? I love vinegar for cleaning 🧼🤗
Definitely don’t need that much. It’s a great disinfectant and it takes out smells. It will smell as it goes through he wash, but doesn’t leave clothes smelling like vinegar. Recommend is a quarter cup and add it to the rinse cycle, this is what I’ve read.
I am in LOVE with my candle warmer. My favorite candle is lasting so much longer and remains clean while it makes my house smell really good

I *prefer* all shoes off in my home, but it isn't a *firm* *rule* for my guests. If its hardwood, i dont mind. If its carpet, shoes off! lol
I did not even know you could walk barefoot till I was almost 3 so not comfortable doing so that being said I have indoor shoes that never leave the house I do not ask guests to remove their shoes I simply mop and vacuum after they leave.

I’m new here found you while scrolling and have to let you know this; I work packing orders @ Amazon and about 10 days ago I began seeing more and more of these 18” long oval wrapped in plastic blue tubes with some other small pieces in the middle of the package. I have SO many of these thinking “wow a lot of ppl get their cpap hoses on Amazon” until just now!! I’m now going to be one of these customers buying the dryer lint cleaner!! Thank you for explaining what it is!! Loved this and your commentary is very relatable. OH BTW!!! I’m a shoes off kinda chick too. Everyone gets a pair of house crocs to wear indoors.

I agree with another comment that “shoes off” , in America, may be generational. When I was growing up, I knew 1 family who required shoes off in their home. Everyone who knew them also knew the circumstances behind their decision. When I was raising my daughters, same thing. My daughter has a no shoe policy. I have adopted the same policy because her children are in my house on a regular basis, and it makes sense to me. I keep shoe covers for any workers who come to my home.

I bought the remote plugs several weeks ago, after you had recommended them in a previous video. I love, love, love them, and they HAVE changed my life. Flawless. I got the diatomaceous bath mat a few months ago, and I love it also. I am delighted to know there are similar coasters, and I will be ordering them ASAP, along with the travertine tissue cover.

I had a massive scare the other day when my purse got twisted in my candle warmer's plug and the melted candle fell over my carpet and ottoman! It was very scary with the hot wax and oils and everything. I'm getting a new one but if it happens again, I'll go back to regular wicks. I'm going to look for a remote too.
How do you get to the center of the curtains with that iron?? It’s not “deep” enough.
