  • Creating Trimble Machine Control files in TBC (Trimble Business Centre) to work in Trimble's GCS900 software. The software is running on a CB460 panel in a dozer.
The main files I need are SVD (surface) SVL (linework)
I usually then use (depending on panel firmware) .CAL (calibration file) .SGF and .GGF coordinate system files for OSTN15. This is the same for dozer or excavator.
Slightly different workflow now for the newer Earthworks system.

Is there another way to make designs for Trimble gps excavator and dozer without paid software?

Hi Frederick, if you have the triangulation you can flip it via Trimble file flipper. If you don't have a triangulated model you can create a flat or sloped one in the dozer alternatively you will likely need to pay for modelling software. I use n4ce quite a bit, bricscad,civil3d etc
