    If you start to hear scraping after lowering your 740 make sure to check for marks on your fueltank. My driveshaft scraped a hole in my fuel tank....

    I have vibrations on my Volvo after changing the center bearing. Everything is stock but would I always want to raise my bearing to reduce vibrations?

  • @ToreDL87

    Oooh, alter the driveshaft angle against the pinion :)
    Not a bad idea, saves your crush sleeve (and eventually the whole diff) from getting mashed up badly.

    Hey bro can you link some good coils for an s70? If 850 work ? Any ones will do, I got some good struts I want to lower my back because I don’t like the tilt look I’m doing all 4 too,
    I boosted my NA s70 and she’s a beauty, she needs some exterior work but I want to lower it after I wrap it when the exterior work is done, I’ll be glad to take videos!

    hi ! Here because i think my center support bearing rubber or bearing has failed. If it is the rubber bit, maybe raising it with washer would be a cheap fix ?

    • @michaelduva5217
      @michaelduva5217 3 роки тому

      failed equals car vibrating in gear at stop (much less in neutral), and car vibrating right before shifting (auto trans). and vibrating in the 2500 to 3500 range.

    would you recommend this if a 740 wagon was lowered on IPD springs? If so, I guess it would not need as many washers right?

    • @driftsnlifts
      @driftsnlifts  7 років тому +1

      Nickey Fynn i would only recommend it if you have driveline vibration , the ipd lowering springs don't lower it all that much but it may still cause driveline vibration , very unlikely that it will need the whole 12mm though

    Do you modify your rear axle after lowering your car since the axle will move more sideways on the other side then the reverse one? I guess you use the IPD so u can adjust it manually with threads?

    • @driftsnlifts
      @driftsnlifts  7 років тому +1

      i dont have an ipd adjustable panhard bar , never really had an issue with it to be honest , it does go to one side slightly more though

    so mine has 2 cut in the front and 3 in the rear...does have a vibration around 50mph...hmm, bet that hasn't been done. of course the v8 swap adds a bit of vibration lol

      Mike Ellsworth I've thought about it but apparently the axels are weak , for drifting the live axel is better because it keeps the camber and toe at 0 . which gives you the best grip

    This is the hack way to avoid buying adjustable torque rods, right? There isn't any hack way to shorten the panhard that you're aware of that will retain it's integrity?

    • @driftsnlifts
      @driftsnlifts  6 років тому +1

      Street Forged nope adjustable torque rods will fix the pinion angle but wont help the rest of the driveline angles. Ipd actually reccomends doing this and has a tech bulletin about it
