3. Rahul Gandhi comes out in support of JNU students knowing that they were actually protesting against his parties decision.
4. JNU students readily accept Rahul Gandhi's support knowing that he is the representative of the govt who hanged Afzal.
5. Innocent or illiterate or ill informed students,everyone seems happy. Who turns out to be the villain ? Modi. How is that possible?

UPA government was so ruthless, it did not grant the last interview customarily and invariably granted to a condemned prisoner; no last wish was asked for, let alone being fulfilled if possible; his dead body was not handed over to his family, or even to anybody in Kashmir but buried obscurely in Jail graveyard. Most of the things which the British imperialists used to do in case of some of the terrorist (i.e. national revolutionary) condemned prisoners, but they too were more courteous and followed all conventions in a majority of cases. And these people never protested on the first anniversary of Afzal Guru's death, if I am not correct may be corrected. At that time UPA government was still in power. And what about the gory Pathankot air base attack by terrorists declaring that it was in revenge for the hanging of Afzal Guru! Have any of these persons even expressed a word of sympathy for the dead soldiers and a word of condemnation for those terrorists? May be there is or was nothing wrong in asking or appealing for commutation of death sentences on them - that is done for so many reasons by civil liberties and human rights organizations and related persons, but to make a martyr of such a person is horrible. Commutation does not mean condonation or vindication or exoneration - it just recognizes the fact that the guilt is proved but the sentence is excessive and harsh.

How is this even a debate? It's more like Arnab and his opinions. I'm not here to to take anybody's side but how is this a debate when arnab doesn't let anyone speak their point and he shuts them off if it's not complying with his opinions. And that Noopur should've been cut off! Annoying. I would have felt that the JNU students were wrong if they would've let them speak more than 2 words (when it's their turn to speak) and their volume's higher like the rest because that would've been fair but the constant shouting of arnab makes it seem like he is determined to portray them as anti-nationalists. If arnab had not called that Noopur and asked those students questions and let them answer without cutting them off then atleast we would be able to observe better what are their intentions, who is at fault, why did they do this, etc and we the viewers would have the chance to analyse more about this matter.

The lack of understanding of the issue & what they represent is apparent in the student leaders & as far as political party spokespersons are concerned, they do nothing more than playing the record of their party ideology (no scope of dialogue & debate there!). Though I condemn the incident at JNU, a TV debate is not the place to charge anyone as guilty.
He had given chance to speak to Lenin.. And what did he said about destruction of India???? He said everybody has right to different opinion.. Didn't he indirectly supported that view instead of criticizing or no supporting.. They had given plenty of time I think but can't make a reasonable point..

I think Arnab did the right thing in one move by thrashing them in the debate and satisfying all Indian's who were hurt with this issue. Though it was biased, it still was the right thing to do because we should never give any chance to those people who eat in India and speak against it. Just because our country is largest democracy and has freedom of speech doesn't mean that we speak whatever we want against our country or speak of separatist views. I think these JNU students have seen or heard lot of conspiracy bullshit theories on UA-cam or somewhere and are then trying to make a point on Afzal's innocence. I think that their parents wouldn't have beaten them nicely in their childhood and shown them the right direction and that's why they are making reckless statement without any basis.
