Hi - How would you label this glycerin extract on packaging? Would you call it "Chamomile Extract"?
There are a few ways. We list the glycerin separately from the chamomile, but you can also state “Chamomile Glycerin Extract”. For transparency, we prefer to show what the extract is since extract can mean so many forms.
Do I have to heat up the extract or can I leave it in a cool, dark place for a couple weeks?
You can definitely try leaving it in a cool, dark place for a few weeks, but often heat can help get a more potent extract.

Anything. It's food safe (unless you're using toxic plants). Glycerin extracts have a shelf life of 3-4 years.
@@yankis. Thanks I really appreciate your time, I already made it now I will put it to work, again thank you
@@yankis. I asked them about the flavour and they recommended that you do not eat this as they are making these extracts for creams, lotions etc... But I have read that you can consume VG
@@sehzzy Of course you can consume VG, it's literally in most medicines that contain herbal extracts. You have to use food grade glycerin. Kosher for example. Glycerin by itself has a sweet taste (like cough syrup).
