Totally with you on the “only wearing foundation “ point. I feel like I can make it work if it is somewhere close to my skin tone, the problem begins for me when it’s the wrong undertone! I have not yet found a hack for that

Shade match is the most important thing about a foundation to me. A lot of youtubers downplay its importance by saying "they'll make it work" but you shouldn't have to. Not saying that was a bad match for you - but just when you commented about it.
I get that! I think it’s a balance for me, because not everyone has the ability to find a shade match in a formula they like so sometimes you do have to “make it work”, or if you can’t afford multiple shades etc only more recently have I been finding shades for my skintone
In my 'routine', I do primer, foundation and powder. This foundation really only came alive after all the other bits and bobs went on your face. You totally smashed this look - turned out lovely, but I would be worried about not having bronzer or blush to warm up my face! Maybe I will stick to their tinted moisturiser??
It’s great!! Maybe I’m misunderstanding - Why wouldn’t you use bronzer or blush? Or you don’t want to have to use them? I feel like with anything more full coverage you need to add those because your natural skin isn’t showing through

I want that warmth and a natural flush but without the other gubbins. My local superdrug doesn't have a great range of products and I would prefer to try before I buy. The search for a great everyday bronzer and blush continues!

I bought a 3 pan blush, control, highlight thing from them years ago but it was busy with the shimmer so could really only use for my eyes. I will have a look for rimmel - I think they are still going... "get the London look" yes, I can kinda remember seeing an advert for them fairly recently with Rita Ora
This reminds me of the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, it’s a medium to full coverage natural matte finish. I LOVED that foundation, I always got so many compliments from strangers asking what it was. I’ve been reminiscing on it since I’ve stopped buying TF because of the owner, I’ll definitely have to check this one out! Looks beautiful on you.

this foundation doesn’t work for me. my face looks so weird with it! i had all of these mini lighter spots? imagine someone blew flour on your face and you wiped it off but still have slight pigment? lmao! but i got super oily and around my nose it went away. it transfers on my clothes or boyfriends face when we kiss. never had any issues with my estée lauder. i’ve tried the nars foundation with different primes and setting sprays too. 😢
Yes. I had bought the valencia and syracuse. And valencia is like for medium skin with yellow undertone and the syracuse is for medium tan with yellow under tones. I had to give the valencia because it was a bit light for me.
What are your thoughts on this one? Interested?

Do you have the rimmel stay matte powder, they came out with deeper shades and I love that as a bronzer! For matte blush, does sleek still exist?

I would say it's not better but diff, breakouts will depend on the individual

The only one I dont feel doesn’t match up is the radiant light, in that I wear Aruba ., everything else is Syracuse!

Yeah I'm mac NC44 and I got the syracuse and the tahoe ( which is one shade darker than this one) and both work well for me
