KOBE was that big brother everyone wished they had, he gave you tough love and only because he could see the greatness in you. Think about dude everyday...RIP MAMBA
On God
Now that’s a dope analogy
Yup big time still have thee exact same feeling about him tho as well still and juss completely inspires me everyday still to be the best version of myself tho still so yeah and continue to get better at basketball 🏀 tho so yeah since that's what mamba mentality is all about tho being better than you were yesterday still so yeah!.❤😊
“Kobe can’t die” real shit bro bro exactly how I felt man
Same here!
When said Kobe can’t die I feel like that’s how everyone felt when your from LA it’s like he can’t die he’s a legend
Not just LA man. Kobe was loved worldwide
Even here in Boston we believe the same thing. Legends never die.
@@cloudytrichomes Yessuh respect from a lifelong lakers fan
Out in Chicago we cried and love him too
fr
Still hurts. JT talking about him in past tense still don’t feel right.
honestly man like what kind of alternative timeline did we have to go through to have this happen
I know dude
☝️This🥺
Kobe for life
Mamba 4 ever 😭😢😥 still dont believe it
I find it beautiful that a laker legend trained and took a Celtic star of all people under his wing. Literally creed
It’s amazing
Great interview Graham . This was mad deep and really puts into perspective the impact Bean had on these young players ❤
“The highest human act is to Inspire”
Die hard Celtics fan here man after Tatums first ring. The inspiration is real. The mamba mentality is real. The emotion is real. What a blessing to see this man play. Rest easy Kobe 🙏🏾🫡
Tatum does not have mamba mentality… not even close
@@stockman1514
I cried like a baby that day.. still do when I get into deep thought about how short Kobe’s life was cut . Legends don’t die 😪
Man, I felt the same when I grabbed coffee at Starbucks in the morning. Life rough since then.
Same!💯 Just watched The Redeem Team special on him and seeing him, the journey, him speaking, was devastating. Had me balling. #RIPKobe
Mamba Forever
Huh bruh
@@guccimane25ify if you can huh you can hear coogi mane
Yeah i cried my damn self. I embraced kobe late in his career and post basketball. He touched me from his mindset and focus and attention to detail. His business mind was next level
100% my thoughts as well. And I'm a lifelong Celtics fan. He MADE me respect him. 🙏
That crash was like an omen for the year ahead (2020) and the years to come even now... Broke me...
Kobe’s death has been hard on me and my 2 brothers, Kobe was a Legend & legend never dies. I still cry until today. I’m from LA watched Kobe played for the lakers for 20 yrs, it touched me so hard, I still can’t believe he’s gone. RIP Mamba
It's hard for me to cry..but every time Kobe passing 😔
Miss you Bean! Jason is right, you inspired the world. I keep trying to be the best version of myself each and every day
It sucks knowing we will have no more great Kobe Bryant moments. The Laker reunions, the great NBA reunions Kobe will be missed. 💯
This guy is so genuine. I am a real fan bro. Blessings
Took what Kobe taught us to business. Proud owner of 3 cell phone shops. Rest up king Kobe ,the real goat
I cried for a week straight. I cried so much I had no tears left to cry
Kobe is the reason I’m a lakers fan . My mom is from Chicago so I was forced to be a bulls fan but when Kobe #8 came in I knew that was my team not to mention I’m from California
I will never forget that day for my whole life... One of the most unreal and unbelievable moments ever... RIP Kobe and Gigi and all passengers on board that helicopter Janurary 26th, 2020. Mamba 4 life.
I cried when he passed I still do because he was the black mamba and super heroes ain’t supposed to die. RIP Kobe.
One of the days that I'll never forget as long as I live because I remember how depressed and despondent I got after finding out Kobe died. I felt like garbage the entire day, didn't wanna do anything or talk to anyone. Still sucks to know that he's not with us anymore, and also his daughter, who had her whole life in front of her still.
KOBE WOULD BE SO PROUD OF YOU JAYSON! HE IS DEFINITELY SMILING AT YOU FROM HEAVEN!!! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU TOO!!!!
Kobe was his MJ.
I'm 45 and I get it.
MJ was my generations Kobe.
THAT guy 🔥🔥
I'm 45 but Kobe resonated more. I guess it's the Lakers in me.
yeah seriusly youre oding such a great job with your interviews and your voice is pleasant. But man like i said elsewhere I stopped watching basketball after jordan... never really got into Kobe. but the day he passed... I started crying my brains out from nowhere. It was uncontrollable.
For what u just said u ain’t know Kobe
Kobe my favorite athlete of all time and I'm a 80s baby
Literally felt every word he said bout Kobe I was always the biggest Kobe fan growing up thought no one else was living in the same universe as me because nobody I knew felt the same way about kobe being number 1 it was always mike and lebron fans I feel like you just have to really study all they games to know which one your favorite I’m picking Kobe over any nba player and dats just facts 🐐
This was a great great great interview. I an a huge huge fan of KB and this touched my soul
If you think about like the last goals Kobe had was how can He inspire others or the younger generations to come, with the passing of him, he did just that in not only young but everyone in the world, Kobe was truly a superhero, even if you don’t watch basketball, everyone knew of him, and his death impacted many in this world, and I hate that he’s gone and died like that but God needed him more I guess, sometimes we overlook the value of things until they’re gone.
I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FELT ABOUT KOBE & GIGI. MY HEART WAS SO BROKEN. HE WAS DEFINITELY AN INSPIRATION TO ALL. A HERO!
amazing to hear about his relationship with Kobe.
I wish Kobe was alive to see what JT has become front row and center. I know he’s smiling down from the heavenly sky a proud big brother/idol.
If Kobe had a son, it would be Tatum.
I still can't believe he isn't here ...
Loved this! Good job Graham! ❤️🥺 Man I was taking a nap on the couch and my uncle had on ESPN and I remember just hearing “Kobe passed away.” I was like “what the heck what how ?” “how?!?“ then I was watching ESPN the whole day and they just kept playing his memories from the Lakers years and then I heard about Giana afterwards and I broke down. I said “Not Gigi too!” 😭
The whole world cried for the loss of kobe bryant. This man was truly special and im honoured that i had the chance of seeing him play while he was in the nba. Rip mamba.
Kobe is my favorite ever! I'm glad one of my favorite guys such as tatum, is speaking up about how Bean influenced and tatum love has always been there and still is! I commend you brother continue to elevate
I couldn't and still can't believe that Kobe is gone. To me, it felt like he was going to live forever. Kobe was an icon. My entire high school years saw Kobe going to three straight finals. He was a huge reason why I grew to love the game of basketball.
Respect to JT! You can tell he was raised right. Also very well spoken!
So happy for JT and JB. Two young men who "get it." Not all about the money, the fame, the lifestyle, (and nothing wrong with any of that), but also have thought processes on a higher level. I'm a 40+ years Laker fan, still in mourning, 8🙏24, but proud of those two young men (and Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Kristaps the Unicorn, and Al Horford.)
I was somber the entire day when Kobe Bryant passed away. He’s definitely one of the greatest basketball players of all time. RIP Kobe
I cried a little hearing Jays reaction 🥹🙏 RIP GOAT 🫡🐐
Kobe can’t die brotha🙏👑 legends never die 🙏🕊️
I remember driving home 6 hours that day. It was so surreal.
That why Kobe Bryant is the my favorite athlete and the greatest player of all time!! I felt like he was a god also I would literally fight you if you say Kobe in a bad way!! And when he died it hurt the hell outta me because I wanted to be that man!! I've fell in love with him the first time he played my cousin high school!! You had ppl all over the county and Philly coming to see him!! And my cousin played them every year!! He was a god to me then!! And I'm from the same area as Kobe went to north Penn high school!! My cousin went to Norristown and upper Dublin!! And the time I've seen him I was a baby!! And he was like a god to me!!
It would be a thing of beauty to watch him win an NBA title in LA against the Lakers.
THIS GAVE ME THE CHILLS WOW
Kobe dying and the manner of his death still feels unreal . It seems like it happened ten years ago but it was a couple years back .
Kobe is the God damn GOAT..heard it here first
The IRONY of him having on a Michael Jordan shirt during this interview, and holding up fingers representing the number of rings he's won after winning another one is crazy!
it still hurts and it will never not .
Great video
That T-shirt is awesome
JT is one cool dude…very matured!
After 3 years still can't believe it
I remember hearing the news and thinking, Kobe can’t be dead. If there’s one person who could survive a crash; it would be him. As silly as that may sound-I saw Kobe as JT, a superhero.
When mimicking another's artistry causes lost of individual creativity. But you could care less😮😮😮
Needed that Kobe
t-shirt!
Pundits trash Kobe, saying he was “selfish”, “arrogant”, and “callous”. When great players like Jayson Tatum, who is now a CHAMPION, speak highly of Kobe, where are all these pundits now!?
I love you Kobe
I was never big Kobe fan, i thought he was arrogant and narcissistic. I was just too young to understand the big picture. Years later it got to me and since then i have nothing but respect for him. Never thought i am gonna cry so much over person i never met . Thats impact that not many posses
Jayson Tatum Kobe Bryant will be happy if you play for the Lakers after your contract done with the Celtics.....that will be awesome day to all Lakers fans
I still can't really say his name...... he was basketball
Life GOES ON....
Kobe is the GOAT imo. Only MJ is on his level. Period. RIP. You will never DIE. Legends live forever.
RIP Kobe
forget kobe's first 3 rings, just the 2 rings he got without shaq nobody ever gives him credit for.
It would have been cool to see Tatum and Bryant play against each other in the league.
Rip Kobe Bryant
Even when I was a kid and would see your weird name that couldn’t say at the corner of the screen I still knew you were a great interviewer Grand Bellringer
I broke down in the bathroom also after I heard the news
"Kobe can't die"..That's so sad..
I miss the detail show Kobe was doing
Kobe was his Everything , but dress in Jordan Gear 🤣🤣🤣
Shit hurt me more than Tatum being from LA I can tell you we will never believe Kobe and his daughter died ever 💜💛🕊️🕊️
Everyone cried that day. No shame in that
Wow, that's crazy. Kobe played his last game in NOLA...omg that's scary.
JT looked up To Kobe’s Game
Laker fan for life, it's so hard to root for Tatum because he is a Celtic yuck lol. But when you know you know, and if you loved Kobe there is a bond there. He was a hero to many.
Thanks Magic for Drafting Zo! Don’t get me wrong but damn!!!
Sit down at Popeyes in New Orleans?!?! Security must have been deep 🤔 4:18
what’s messed up is Lakers (Magic), picked Lonzo over Tatum. Jeannie and Magic not letting J West be an advisor messed them up…
They could have had Tatum and LBJ… and skip the A.D. experiment.
Lakers got ring 16 and should’ve let LBJ go back to Cleveland the year after
Me too tater me too
as a fan as was messed up for days
That fact that the NBA that day decided to play games will always be the single most tragic, idiotic, senseless thing they have ever done.
Kobe would’ve wanted them to. Stop it bro you can’t cancel games for deaths
@@jdilla4591 Sometimes if you have no idea what you're talking about it's better to just keep quiet.
@@Venividivici55555 god bless you but relax 😂
Mamba mentality is to go on no matter what. Kobe played his best games when the world was looking at him like they wanted him to fail
I would bet that if Kobe were asked he would want the games to go on. Play through pain.
This guy will be a Laker someday. He will be vilified in Boston for it but he will become a Laker and win a title for them
Na probably not, more likely to be the Celtics Kobe and the face of the next Celtics era. 1 ring down 4 more to go. Chase that lion!!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.
Exodus 20:4 You shall not make for yourself an idolc or a likeness of anything* in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth;
Magic Johnson should’ve drafted him!!!
Tatum prolly the best white boy in the nba since caruso
I wonder why he doesn’t say “ya know” when he speaks here interesting
Lakers should’ve drafted Tatum instead of Ball.
Graham: Why did you always tell your Mom you wanted to be like Kobe?
MJ on Tatum's shirt before he spoke: And I took that personally.
its allgud bigdog i woke up from a nap looked at my phone thought it wa all cap fake not real had to turn to cnn and wen they had it on i screamed like a lil girl and started crying and ima big ass grown man i couldnt believe it either it was bad not KOBE💯😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I love JT but he’s definitely a product of his generation.
The minute they said Kobe died from a helicopter crash I knew it was true.
But how?! It was his 25th day in a row doing that fateful helicopter ride (his daughter Gigi was only with him when she wasn’t in school) and when the helicopter took off, visibility was 4 miles with an overcast ceiling of a quarter mile. It wasn’t until 60 miles into the flight that the pilot encountered fog that reduced visibility to less than an inch which seemed like no big deal to him. So he underestimated it and the rest is history. Even nearly 3 years later, it still doesn’t quite feel real!
@@samreilly1484 because he ride helicopters and it was on CBS, and TMZ. Both reliable sources.
But how did he manage to do the same fateful helicopter ride 24 days in a row starting on January 2, 2020 without any issues?
#MambaForever
I bet Jason tatum went there @ 4 am
Jason....he got it from the master....MJ....That's why we know he's the GOAT....MJ...
and he's wearing a jordan's t shirt? lol
That’s Kobe’s idol… he got all his moves from mj
@@chicagoreal4255 Not all but alot of his moves.Kobe way more of a streetball handle
yooooooooooooooooooooooo
Kobe would be disappointed that he don’t have that dog mentality in him dude always chokes he can never be like Kobe
Jason Tatum is so odd on this Kobe stufff
R.I.P Kobe Bryant a true champion and a gray father/man you can tell Kobe influenced a lot of the young NBA superstars like JT💯🏀
😅
