An article in Model Railroader Magazine (June 2004) mentioned the first performance of this piece, and credited engineer Spiro Patanikolatos for that performance. This post says the composer controlled the train that passed by for this performance, but I think it would be better to say the train was controlled by its engineer, who was directed by the composer for the run-by. But anyway, can you say who the locomotive engineer was for this performance?
