I have a lot of stuff that uses that kind of of a charger and power supply. Namely amazon fire stick , Roku stick raspberry pie 4, plus cellphone and tablets. I do not have enough wall plugs for all those things. I wonder if I could use that with stuff like the streaming sticks and pie? Those are things that have to be plugged in to run. Charging as not 24/7 put done regularly?
My small Lenovo tablet needs up to 4.3 amps. 2.4 amps is not enough to charge it properly. Even in the off state it uses around 2.1 amps when charging. And not many people turn there devices off for charging. Most phones now use more than 2.4 amps for charging. Using a device that is not putting out proper power for charging can ruin your devices, batteries and cause a fire. Your devices will still charge. But your battery will drain faster and be less powerful due to improper charging. Or it will use the charge current and drain the battery at the same time. The same thing applies to the charger cable. It must support the amperage the device requires. Using cords from other devices for charging things is not a good idea either. And of course the type of battery in the device also changes these issues. Cheers
