Danielle, congratulations on your achievements. However, I was not impressed with your speech! What is a "gender advocate?" You sounded like a mouth piece pushing certain ideas and values! Whether you are aware of this fact or not it is God the Creator that gives you daily strength! He allowed you to attend the university, thrive and complete your degree, and for that alone you should give Him thanks! You gave thanks to many people and things, but you never thank God for helping you achieve your goals! You may think you don't need Him now, but you will need Him at some point in your life! “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;”__Ecclesiastes 12:1 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”___Deuteronomy 8:18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”___John 3:16
