No groomer is immune to the crazy wiggly babies☺️ at least he is a sweetheart. And thank you for acknowledging the fact that we have to restrain these pets for their own safety. These small dogs are stronger than people think, and half of them communicate discomfort with biting. 🤷🏽♀️I encourage my clients to brush more often and play with their sensitive areas to desensitize them and for the ones who do, the pets get calmer.
Oh he looks so lovely and happy. I am a hairdresser but I need to learn to groom my mother's dog, medical assistant dogs. As she can't do it anymore so thankyou for this so much
Great job! I’m also a groomer and a few weeks ago a woman went to my salon manager to complain I was holding the dogs head by its chin hair! My manager was like, yeah, that’s how we hold them! People make me laugh. Let them try holding a squirming, panting, licking, dog and try putting a pair of scissors near their eyes!
I think this is the best video I have seen! He looks like my bischon and I like his head same way! I am trying to learn how to groom him myself. Thanks a bunch! Great video!
Beautiful job on this little guy. He looks very much like my toy poodle whom I groom in a bichon fashion. I prefer it because he looks like an adorable little puppy even though he is 5. I sent him to the groomers for a while because he is so nervous during grooming that I felt it was not good for our relationship. But it’s hard to find a groomer who is willing to put in the effort to get a decent cut with a dog who is anxious, and I don’t like spending $100 to get a cut I have to fix. I will definitely use your tips.
Thanks for sharing your work. Do you have links to your favorite curved and straight scissors? I have a standard poodle and same stainless steel comb guards and wahl cordless shears and ceramic A10. (Great electric stuff but cheapo scissors!)
Hi, there are maybe products to help reduce the tear stains. I clip most of the stains out and then use this amzn.to/3V7WSoR It doesn't take away the tear stains, however it lessons the stains.
For anyone who says you’re being rough have obviously never groomed a dog before. 😂 You do an amazing job!

This really helps. My boy, Tater, is just as nervous as this little guy, so I'm having a tough time learning how to groom him.

Exactly!!
LOL, does she think you put them in a chair with a cape like in the beauty salon and they sit there while you cut their hair?
Exactly. I can hold the chin hair or you can have a tongueless or eyeless dog. 😂😅

Glad it was helpful!
Thanks SO much for this, very helpful for trimming my pet Bichon💕🐾
Job well done. He looks so handsome
Nice work on the little fella. Could easily see how he was a challenge through out the trim.

Beautiful, well done
Thank you, very good to watch x
He looks great! What was the setting used for the Bravara trim between the eyes?
I wish you could do my teddybear ... he does not like being brushed.
I need to find a better groomer. You are fantastic! ❤
He is so cute and looks fabulous. He must be getting used to you. At least he is not trying to bite you.

Hi, here is my link for Shears from my Amazon Store of my favorite Shears that I use and recommend a.co/5matZQp
Is there anything you do to eliminate tear stains on bichons?

Awesome
👏👏👏👏👏👏
He’s thirsty
That Bichon head is to short , both ears needs to blend in with the head , all in one round ball
He is a pet not a show dog. This is what the owners prefer.
I agree, and you can do a pet cut and still carve out the round head.
Any style can be done on a pet.
