We learn as a kid here in school firstly German (our official language), secondly French for 4-7years (in Switzerland there are four main languages and French is one of them), thirdly English for 3-5 years and at last Italian, Latin or something else. The problem is at our system, they don't care if you are slowly at something, they just try to put the stuff in your head with violence.
