Have you tried the Mamiya 6 MF ? It allows you to shoot 35mm as a panorama. You can also shoot 6x4.5 but unfortunately it just blacks out the sides so you only get 12 shots on a roll. Something to consider if you love everything else about the Mamiya 6.
If you find yourself primarily shooting with a normal lens, another option is the Fuji GW690 which is a 6x9 format. They also make a 680 and 670 for 6x8 and 6x7. No interchangeable lens, but its 1/3 the price of the Mamiya 6 and still a great camera, really big negatives too.

If You could put a sensor inside it it would be an amazing camera... Perhaps in the future.
