How to import a 3D STL file in Aspire, VCarve 10 with i2R UCCNC. (3D Medusa Face)

This covers the general functions of importing a 3D file STL into Vcarve and Aspire 10 and exporting using the mach 2/3 arcs post processor for the i2R CNC. This is a part 1 video. Part 2 will show the i2R CNC machining the actual project. Enjoy!

if I have a hole in the middle of the 3D model, do I still choose “out cut”? Does the bit drill inside of the hole line?

When using an STL bought from etsy , on a CNC with aspire . Do you need 7 zip or WINRAR as described by the seller on Etsy . Or does aspire unload the STL file ? I`m green and confused !
