I would loveeeee to see you guys test out & review the Some By Mi's hair and scalp products, as well as some other products by Korean and Japanese brands for hair and scalp health!! 💕
I am 55 and the Tatcha indigo cream is my staple product in my night time routine, I am using it every single day and by the morning my skin absorbs it no matter how much I put on. I bought the sample sizes , just $2 difference between the full size jar and this way never goes bad. I never skip serums or any steps especially at night. I combine affordable and luxury skincare products . When you reach a certain age everything will change. Even your opinion. Remember that opinions are not facts !✨
Pleaaaase try some more drugstore brands/ products !! It would be great to see some newbies bc I mostly shop drugstore and often get confused on what to try or what's best for certain skin type/issues as well as with mixed reviews all over the Internet. It can be a nightmare !!😓
I'm surprised they didn't love Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm! It's the thickest formula ever for my super dry lips!! And now they have better packaging, before you had to squeeze it out. Yes, it's expensive for a lipbalm but no other lipbalm performs this well, and I love that it's vegan.
i love your channel, this is the only place I can come to when I feel skeptical about products and other reviews and get the best explanation and honesty about products that I am interested in. I have invested in skincare products that you guys have been hyping up in previous videos and my skin has significantly improved. THERE IS A VIDEO I REALLY NEED THO! can you guys film something talking more about bumps on the skin for people with the condition keratosis pilaris. I have dry skin but a lot of bumps on my forehead. It hasn't improved with low bha and aha concentrated products. What would you recommend for me to try? Also, how often should I use AHA and BHA per week? I have been using it 2-3 times a week once per day. THAnk yOU!
It’s taken me over 6 months to get through tatcha products and they are all still good and working great, no skin issues at all. I truly believe they put 6m so that people will throw out what they have and buy more so it’s all for money. I do believe in expiration dates 100% but 6m is not that long at all. Do expiration dates apply to products that haven’t been open and used yet? I just stocked up on some of my holy grail products for my dry skin so I’m hoping the expiration date doesn’t apply to products that haven’t been opened, exposed to air and used. I see it as many of the products out there are made in bulk and can sit on shelves or in warehouses for a long long time past the expiration date
That's a really good point. I would also like to add that while marketing and product logistics can certainly play a role, formulation can also impact the product too. For example, the use of preservatives (if any) can extend the period of time without the formulation turning rancid or growing mold. At the end of the day, it really is based on your best judgement. If your product still looks decent after the six months of use, chances are it still is. But if you start noticing strange smells, changes in texture, and the like, that's a sign to toss! 😅
Yeah I agree because after six months products look, smell and feel the same! I just say eye ball it 😂. I've had stuff unopened for longer and it wasn't bad. Another reason why I appreciate preservatives because it'll last 🧡
Unopened products usually have a shelf life of around 2-3 years. The 6m and 12m and so on on the packaging applies to after it’s opened. BUT when you buy something there should also be an expiration date overall on the product. Just like with food. Something might be good for months but has to be used within a few days AFTER it’s been opened.
Could you guys do a review on Bliss? They have a new retinol line that I would love your opinion on. And if you've tried their Vitamin C line, would love your opinion on that.
Everyone with KP, here’s a hack: neutrogena acne body wash. Not glamorous, but has been working so well for me (when nothing else has)! Just in case you don’t want to spend $28 on the scrub :) just make sure to use a lotion or cream afterwards because it can be a little drying.
Ive heard the KP body products recommended for bikini area after shaving bc it makes a huge difference decreasing ingrown hairs- the FAB product was on my list but I’m going to try the peach and lily first on your recommendation. I get ingrown hairs on my legs and underarms as well so I’m glad there’s dedicated products for these issues and can’t wait to try.
Love this! Will you guys do a review on the new Then I Met You’s Resurfacing Mask? Even better with its comparison to the Youth to the People’s and Peach & Lily’s (I know Fel uses it). Thanks!
I've been super obsessed witht he Wishful moisturizer lately! I'm picky about moisturizer because they normally break out, and the reason I switched from Iunik to this is the fact it lasts so much longer, while having the same amount of product - it's more expensive but worth it in my opinion! Also looove the Vanilla summer Fridays lip balm lol
Wow, beauty within you guys are amazing love your videos keep up the great work, it’s a really great resource for me especially being visually impaired and starting my skin care journey than a lot of good tips and tricks of these videos you guys make way to go
It is, especially for dry skin in the wintertime. I’ve been trying to find a dupe, but no luck yet. Fifty dollars is pretty pricey, but the product lasts a long time. A little goes a long way.
I’ve tried it and I like it. For me, it’s a night cream because it made my face feel a bit greasy. It did help with winter redness, though. Where I live, winter can get below zero, so dryness and redness is an issue.
The ingredients list seem gentle for sensitive skin types, but it can really depend on how well your skin can tolerate new products too. Thank you for watching!
@Plant life in Jen’s greenhouse Me too:) I’ve been using it for about a week now, and I haven’t had any issues. I’m loving it as I have with all Glow Recipe products. Thank you:)

Can you two get your hands on a brand called Khramer sold from Thailand? They have an indigo extract serum and sunscreen for less money than the Tatcha night cream mask. 850 Thai Baht is like $26 USD for the sunscreen. They are on Instagram but I haven't seen much buzz about them at all.
love the video 💖 just wondering about the glow recipe vitamin c serum. I do not have dark spots or uneven skin tone. But I do have the tendency to be dull and get occasional texture. Do you think it would be worth a try?
In that case, I would recommend something less potent. Maybe something like Goodal’s Green Tangerine serum? It also doesn’t have the unpleasant iron-y smell that a lot of vitamin c products have and it doesn’t oxidize on the skin either.
@@ashleymarie5035 Oh and I forgot to say, exfoliation may be what you actually need. If you don’t mind the price tag, I highly recommend Peach & Lily’s Reboot Resurfacing Mask/Peel. It gives the same amazing effects as the Ordinary’s peel but with minimal irritation. It blows my mind how a better formulation can make another product just as effective, if not better, with lower percentage of acids. And it’s gentle!
Love your videos have bought quite a few new products recently from BeautyWithin website. Since i am getting back into skincare my skin is freaking out right now with all the new products~ I know i’m suppose to introduce 1 or 2 new products slowly into my skincare after a week or two but since even my facial cleansers are new i’m not sure if it’s my cleansers or toners/serums luckily the Cosrx Snail 92 moisturizer seems to not add to the problem but neutralize it. I have combination/oily acne prone skin any tips on not burning my face off but still feeling hydrated? Before these products i was just using the three step acne treatment from La Roche-Posay which i slowly got off of.
A "burning" face most likely means that your skin barrier could be compromised at the moment - and yes, this can also happen for a variety of reasons (are you experiencing weather changes? Is your skin more dry than usual? New products can also be a factor). I can suggest simplifying your routine and layering as much hydration as you can. So that means after your cleansing step, using your moisturizer, and then a sunscreen in the mornings. You can also layer on one hydrating toner after cleansing to make sure your skin is receiving some hydration. If you're unsure which step is causing your skin to react, you can try isolating your skincare steps. For example, washing your face with only water for one-two days, applying your usual skincare and seeing how your skin reacts. Then you can switch by using your cleanser and applying your skincare without your toner step, and so on. Hope this helps!

I am so disappointed that they spent like five seconds on the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm. I have tried hundreds of lip products and this product is by far my favorite. The Wishful moisturiser looked promising until I saw fragrance on the list.... so I won't be getting it as I don't like fragranced products on my face
And that's perfectly okay! A fragrance-free option that I can suggest trying out is the Saturday Skin's Carrot and Niacinamide Moisturizing Cream! It's also delightfully whipped and spreads on with a lightweight finish!
@@BeautyWithin Awesome thank you! I like niacinamide in my moisturisers like a lot of the K Beauty ones have too :)
