- Various CNG Neoplans in L.A along Venice Blvd. These are the best buses ( performance and sound ) in the MTAs fleet. Powered with a Cummins L10G engine and Allison B400R6 transmission.

@scottylad79 - these are probably the best buses in the Los Angeles fleet. It just sucks their replacements arent any better

I sure miss driving these buses,while the ones I drove were powered by the older cummins engines,not sure which model..They really are the coolest buses metro has ever had!

Yea,the neoplans were a blast to drive,the best part of these buses were the drivers side window you could slide forward and rest your left arm on the window seal panel!And plus,they hauled,especially the 45-4700's out of Division 8!
I gotta agree on these being the best buses MTA has. Not to mention how badass these sound with that huge exhaust stack.
This is the route I usually take when riding these buses (33/333).
Yeah I remember riding the 4700s on the 446 and 447. Those buses are a lot better than the NewFlyers I drive lol. Its a shame the newer 8100 NABIs are replacing the 4500s-4700s.
