I ignored a lot of content creators when they said that they wouldn't recommend pulling Qingyi. One guy said, and I quote, "She doesn't offer much more than what Anby does right now." She provides a MASSIVE damage boost during stun phases. Gonna go for her M1 at least and her W-engine. Edit: She is literally the only reason my Anton is capable of 2 million damage during his ult. She is damn near a non option on some team comps.

Not only that, Qingyi is still objectively one of the most useful and powerful units in the game. She's not just good for F2P cause Harumasa, she's an apex character among Miyabi and Caesar due to the utility and how universally usable she is. Content creators tend to be stuck on the anomaly meta thinking and devalue any stun character by default.
Objectively, Astra and Qingyi are probably the best options. Qingyi is an extremely powerful stunner that has definitely stood the test of time so far, and Astra just has unique and powerful mechanics that makes her a really good choice even if you have a built Nicole. Both also have more longevity in terms of not being power creep... HOWEVER I love me shark girl and gonna be going for that M1.

Objectively M6/W5 Ellen is clearing slower than M0/W1 Miyabi (yes she's that much stronger). There are test runs on youtube. But also objectively it doesn't matter much yet, as even M0/W1 Ellen still S clears everything and probably will be for awhile (speaking from experience). Ellen is also really fun in Lost Void imo. Ironically, Ellen and Billy are more fun to me than Miyabi or Yanagi in that mode.
I understand that Astra is the smart pick, but I'm following some of your older advice. 1. She doesn't bring as much value to my account as Evelyn, because I'm focusing on building attribute-based teams. 2. I need a fire DPS because I skipped Burnice and don't have Soldier 11. 3. Evelyn is so fine it pisses me off.
Same, basically i put a similar rules for building element team one at a time. If i keep pushing new characters it won't end nicely for my account. And since i'm an F2P i need to skip a patch or two to looks what team that my account currently lacking, so i can farm end game more effeciently
@@al8704 We don't know whether Idols will be coming out any time soon. Yutane might be 1.6, or 2.X. There's no proof to say that the next confirmed Ether agent will be Yutane, since they were leaked early, and the devs even said they'd be coming out much later. If anything, Obol Squad might have an Ether agent sooner.
I’m in the same boat. My ice and electric teams are stacked, and Jane is doing well enough playing dps for my fire team, but Evelyn is a baddie and her combat animations are dope.
I think that would be a mistake to shoehorn yourself solely into mono element comps. It takes longer to build all mono element comps since your skipping multiple banners for 1 element. And Astra does far more then just ether. She allows chain atks outside of stun windows, and chain atks are something ellen wants to abuse as much as possible. She heals on ults as well as an atk increase. On paper that doesn't sound like much but it's massive. And that's not even mentioning the ether stun and ether anomaly coming after Evelyn's banner.
man how are people forgetting qingyi is perfect for a rerun this next patch just because harumasa is given free. i believe qingyi is still more universal while lighter is stronger in specific teams, that being ellen, s11, and evelyn.
Very likely that they are rerunning Qingyi now because she already has a Story Quest. Ellen is getting hers now, Zhu Yuan is probably getting one next Patch so she is rerunning then as well. That does seem like the likeliest explanation imho
Ngl I think qingyi is extremely valuable since any characters that isn't fire or ice that wants a stunner she is always bis and new players can build up their harumasa team due to their synergy
I see the value that anyone can make use of her, especially since even if the enemy is electric resistant, she can still stun the F out of all the other attributes
Qingyi getting benched is simply not happening with deadly assault here. Besides, there's this crucial detail that unlike lighter, qingyi's boost is in core passive. She can actually fit in any team. I.e. lighter can't fit next to miyabi/astra but qingyi can.
@@khenevvir6873this is exactly it. As a new player lighter is great but his value is pretty low for a few reasons: we all have miyabi, and she doesn’t need a stunner. She is flexible, so this essentially means lighter becomes exclusively a fire stunner which is very niche. And with Astra and qinqyi most of us will not be pulling Evelyn unless you’re a spender. On top of this, we got a free harumasa and qingyi is best in slot so it’s pretty much a no brainer to grab qingyi. The only thing would be a new stunner coming (idol?) but qingyi is so universal that I don’t see her getting powercrept. I expect the new stunner to likely have their own niche, like maybe an anomaly stunner or something

I am the ellen enjoyer. Ive played since day one, I got two ellens by sheer luck and ive saved every single pull since. So far I have around 500 pulls saved for ellen and her weapon. I understand that she isnt as good as the others, but waifu is meta.
Excuse me? Just cleared the deadly assault Butcher with 25k on my second try. Ellen is still SO good. I just want her W engine so I can reach 100 crit rate
The nice thing is if you were one of the few who skipped Miyabi, 1.4 was super generous with the pulls so you have a good shot at picking up who you want in 1.5. I think I'm close to 100 pulls from this patch so far.
I have been mostly saving in recent patches other than Lighter so I was able to get Miyabi M1 and weapon and still have over 100 pulls. I debated M2 but I think I’d like to get some rerun M1s and/or weapons, and maybe go for her M2 on her eventual rerun.

Going for Qingyi, love using Harumasa and I do have Zhu Yuan as well so she'd be a nice pickup for both of them, plus using Anby as a replacement just feels a bit too awkward compared to Qingyi's gameplay.
A point to be made, you can wait on Evelyn + Qingyi for news on the next banner. Don't have to pull right away. I would also put Qingyi above Evelyn because she is more universal, BiS stunner for Harumasa for new players

Sorry but I’m picking Ellen as a waifu pick. Fell in love with the design when I met her in the story, and her character is top tier imo. I already have m3 Miyabi, but meta be damned I want the shark maid.
I still use her now, I like she more complicated to play, like easy to play hard to master kinda thing so it nice it not just mash one button and win, you can notice little things to make her more optimal, I wish there were more complex characters like Ellen
This is the one reason I plan to pull Astra - flexibility. I don’t intend to replace Nicole immediately, as I have heavily invested into her, but with Astra, I have a super strong support to back up any new teams I wish to make … all this implies I win the 50/50
as a qingyi haver who started playing in 1.1, I’m relieved zhu yuan isn’t being rerun this patch. I can guarantee astra now regardless of the 50. zhu yuan/qingyi/astra team is the dream 🙏🏻

Yea as a new player it’s actually perfect. Miyabi can carry with any/random team. Then we get qingyi and Astra for the free harumasa. Now we have 2 very strong teams, after just 1 month. And on miyabi banner most ppl got piper copies. So that’s already 3 strong teams, my next pull will probably be Caesar for piper and I can run with Lucy. Miyabi can just use Nicole or whatever and still destroys lol
I skipped Caesar, I'm gonna be skipping Astra. Outside of the battle tower I just haven't needed a damage reduction unit or sustainer and I'm happy with my A rank buffers for now. All in for my girl Evelyn.

My meta brain says Astra but my heart says Ellen, even if I already have Miyabi. I missed the 50/50 on Ellen when she first came out. I was really upset at the time, too. So I'm fulfilling that desire.
Astra may be a must-have unit for the Tower end-game as the first support with healing so all the more reason to go for her esp. if you don't have Cesar yet.
Astra is definitely not a must pull for my account right now. I have almost all premium teams with signatures and all that. But I don't have Qingyi, so she'll be my priority to complete my Zhu Yuan team. If I win the 50/50 then I'll pull for Evelyn. But I have to say, being a dolphin is getting harder every patch. I'm afraid of what patch 1.6 will bring 😅

I’m in the same boat of knowing Qingyi would buff the shit out of my Harumasa, but desperately wanting an astral-themed healer. It’s not solely about who’s stronger, but about if I care more about supporting Harumasa than I do about pretty stars and healing.
@Soft-m2m If both options are good no matter what, just pick which character you like more. ZZZ endgame isn't hard enough to warrant worrying about meta picks.
@maughtayo Yeah, I was just adding nuance to your suggestion to simply pick the stronger character for the team. There's a balance to strike between picking your favorites, and picking characters who compliment your favorites. Adding a new character with unique synergies, or one that incentivizes new rotations, can drastically affect the feel of a team and make it more fun to play. It's not as simple as just comparing characters in a vacuum.
Rerun wise I'm looking for Caesar and her W-Engine, and maybe Lighter. This patch I'm thinking I'll go for Astra, and will wait for the 1.6 livestream before pulling for Evelyn (to see if Caesar is rerunning the next patch)
I wanna go for Qingyi and Astra. I know they’re objectively the best picks meta-wise. But I also love Yelan, Kafka, and Jane so Evelyn’s ultimately gonna be draining my chromes, lol.
Same problem here lol. Astra would make the most sense for me because I already have burnice so I don't really need another fire dps, but I love Evelyn's design.
So on the topic of Ether having hardly any roles, the ZZZ devs did an interview with the major Japanese game publication Famitsu where they were asked about the lack of ether agents, and they said it was an intentional design choice. Ether is going to be treated as a super rare typing since ether is not a natural element like fire physical and ice is, but in turn it will be extremely powerful. So basically if there's a limited ether banner in rotation, they're gonna be a must pull because who knows when the next time we get an ether agent will be.
It's funny watching this because I remember people saying Lighter was less worth it if you have Qingyi because he's better for ice/fire and that she's more universal. Now people are saying she's not worth as much... I'm pretty sure they're running her because she's perfect for Harumasa, the free 5* everyone got. Probably something to cause people to delve into team building.

And now after watching the video I also agree that if you're using an ice/fire Attacker, it would be better to wait for Lighter than to grab Qingyi now. HOWEVER: she's still fun to play and really good
allready have ceasar, so i am considering just skipping out on astra and try for qingyi as i don't have a good stunner right now. was originally considering evelyn, but i guess that plan is kinda out the window now because of the qingyi rerun.

I'll just wait to see the 1.6 drop marketing to make my decision. I was considering getting Evelyn to pair up with my Lighter, but then I tried the Miyabi/Lighter/Lucy team and decided to skip her. I have Yanagi to pair up with Miyabi, but I like the Yanagi/Burnice duo alot. If none of the 1.6 characters end up catching my fancy, I'll try to go for Astra Yao👍🏾.

before lighter was added to the game, i saw a wiki page for upcoming characters that had him listed as an A rank agent. when he was added, i never noticed he was an S rank, so i'm still pissed i never pulled for him
If you like using Harumasa, I think Qingyi is a good pickup if you don't have hear already. If you really like Ellen, I think her M2 is really good to get. Personally, I want to pick up Astra Yao to test her chain attack ability with some characters like my M1 Zhu Yuan and other dps! I'm also planning to get Evelyn and think she is a good unit if you don't have S11 and want a dynamic fire dps!
I have Astra pretty much guaranteed just from the fact that I got extremely lucky with my previous agents (Ellen, Zhu, Qingyi and Burnice, all 50/50 wins on soft pity) and have the polys to spare despite only recently losing 140 pulls with Miyabi. After getting her I'll probably just chill for a while and only focus on polishing drive discs, pulling only for whoever catches my attention lore wise.

Any pull advice/recommendations? I like Burnice, Miyabi, Harumasa, and Caesar, and I already have Miyabi and Harumasa. I run a team with Miyabi, Anby, and Harumasa currently, which I really like, and the person who introduced me to the team, who claims it's the strongest team in the game at this point in time (evidence given: it's the only team that can beat the hardest boss in the game in one cycle at M0; I didn't check this), said Qingyi is BiS in that team. I plan on getting Yanagi because she pairs insanely well with Burnice, unless they release a character that works better. I want to make the characters I like as strong as they can be, including getting additional Agents, W-Engines, and Mindscapes to accomplish that. I will, however, remain completely F2P.
I want to pull for Qingyi as she seems extremely good and is very fun to play imo. I am worried though that re running her now means that they plan on power creeping her next with a way better stunner.
As a harumasa enjoyer. The timing for qingyi rerun was absolutely perfect. I have harumasa's M1 and W-engine. I have no Rina or grace so i need her to buff him significantly. I would pull for astra for my miyabi BUT miyabi is already strong enough to thug it out with soukaku. I do hope there will be more supports like astra in the near future.
Astra Yao and then Qingyi if I have enough pulls left. Since, Astra will be good for most teams. While Qingyi will be good for my mono Electric Team. All these events will give us loads of polychrome and we are getting like 20-23 free pulls as well.
Astra is going to be top 1 for my Miyabi-Yanagi team which is my main while im not sure for Evelyn where I would wait and see as need something decent for 2nd team on some modes like Deadly Assault or Shiyu defense. I do have Harumasa built too with his sig so not sure if Qingyi or Evelyn depending on how much spares I have from Astra and her sig. Seems still a very long time till Yanagi sig rerun so might as well complete my main team first with Astra incoming to end the struggle of finding the 3rd member for the team.
I doubt she power creeps Nicole specifically. She's a burst-debuffer due to her short durations that further buffs ether specifically. Astra so far looks like a generalist support like Lucy who happens to also be ether. Evelyn is the better one to mention for outright power creeping. No shot the standard fire attacker comes close to her level. Anything buffing one buffs the other (my wish for Eve to have a bad Ult multiplier is dead) I would say Astra is just an upgrade to Caesar *purely in terms of buffing* because of doing DMG and attack buffs. The unique thing Astra does, outside of aoe healing, is proc-extra chain attacks which could be a much a nice extra chunk of burst depending on the character, like Nicole getting an extra gravity field, Zhu getting 2 extra bullets, and whatever a future character may do with their chain attack, on top of the much higher mods compared to Quick Assists. I don't think she's going to be over powered or anything since we've seen Caesar before, and that's good since specialists like Lighter should always provide their niche more power than a generalist. But Caesar is still really good, and Astra looks better in terms of buffing.
As a new player I might just buy enough for all of them whilst I have the double bonus in shop and we have lots of freebies coming. I haven’t enjoyed a game so much since my early Genshin 4 years ago (PoE2 is great as well though).
I grinded hard to get Ellen when the game launched, but she's basically obsolete now that I have Miyabi, so I'm not seeing a reason to pull more on her re-run, especially when I need another Either agent and my damage output on Fire/Physical teams is lacking. Ellen carried the interest up to this point for me, but Caesar, Yanagi and Miyabi have got it from here. Guess I'll be adding Astra to the list.

Great video as always! I have 105 pulls as of today. I already have Qingyi with her Sig W-Engine and I already have Ellen. But not her Sig W-Engine. I'm contemplating to pull for her W-Engine. Evelyn is a must pull for me as I'm lacking a fire DPS (24 more pulls to reach 300 and select my S rank of choice) As for Astra, It might be a last minute decision. LOL
I just got into the game a few days ago and I'm only at about Inter-Knot 27 and just starting chapter 2. Unfortunately, I missed Miyabi as I couldn't pull her in time. Based on the video would it be wise for me to bank and get Evelyn to help me clear through some of the beginning content? I'm still in the middle of finishing my Nicole and Soldier 11 builds, so I don't feel right getting new replacements of them when I haven't even finished the builds. But more importantly my funds have been thanos snapped by Miyabi and Harumasa (I got his w-engine because I loved him so much), so I'll probably get Astra on her rerun if I feel like it by then. Still not sure about Evelyn though.

I was going to pull for Evelyn because I like her design and I didn't have fire element characters at all meaning some fights were struggle for me, but I pulled Soldier 11 on last night on the standard banner so now it's bit more of a questionmark. I have Miyabi, so my ice is well covered, and while I'm sure Astra is great I don't really like her personality so far, so it'll remain to be seen. From meta perspective I might roll for her but I think I'll wait to hear what 1.6 characters are once 1.5 lands before I go using my polys.

Dang, miyabi dodge my pull today. Well well well, now who should I choose. Since I just come back after getting zhu yuan back then. Should I just try my shot to pull astra yao? Or qingyi is the way? Currently only focus building 1 team and that is zhu yuan anby nicole. Should I upgrade anby to qingyi or nicole to astra? Still lvl 34 so I still have a lot to do anyway
Its all comes down to preference as always and i guess with who you might already have as well. I have ellen, bernice, jane, yanagi, miyabi, and even solider 11, among others so Evelyn is completely pointless for me to get even though i love her gameplay, astra is a bit more useful for me but honestly i have never used characters for buffs and debuffs and her healing is only on the ultimate if you have a Ceasar you probably don't even need her at all, so while both of them are beauties that are beyond hot, they are not a must 😂
I’m going to go for Astra just to make my miyabi even stronger and if I don’t manage to get her I’ll probably save for a ceasar rerun or someone else intrigues me enough

I have been waiting for Ellen and joined on Qingyi’s banner. I might have Miyabi but after all this game isn’t a meta game you do you I mean if Billy can do it anyone character you want can. On that note I’m going Qingyi and Ellen and maybe Astra if I’m lucky
This is so hard, only limited S-rank I have is Miyabi and of course free Harumasa. I don't have S11 so Evelyn would make also sense, but Qingyi would benefit my existing Harumasa team a lot. Astra would also work well as my Nicole is not yet M6, but pulling Qingyi, I will probably get her there. Impossible to decide who to prioritize! With luck I have enough pulls for 2 characters.
I'm probably only gonna try pulling for Astra if she's gonna be fun for my playstyle and account. Everyone else is a skip unless I want to make a guarantee, which I'll only try making on Astra or Gingyi's banner.

Objectively M6/W5 Ellen is clearing slower than M0/W1 Miyabi (yes she's that much stronger). There are test runs on youtube.
But also objectively it doesn't matter much yet, as even M0/W1 Ellen still S clears everything and probably will be for awhile (speaking from experience). Ellen is also really fun in Lost Void imo. Ironically, Ellen and Billy are more fun to me than Miyabi or Yanagi in that mode.
I understand that Astra is the smart pick, but I'm following some of your older advice. 1. She doesn't bring as much value to my account as Evelyn, because I'm focusing on building attribute-based teams. 2. I need a fire DPS because I skipped Burnice and don't have Soldier 11. 3. Evelyn is so fine it pisses me off.

Same, basically i put a similar rules for building element team one at a time. If i keep pushing new characters it won't end nicely for my account. And since i'm an F2P i need to skip a patch or two to looks what team that my account currently lacking, so i can farm end game more effeciently
@@al8704 We don't know whether Idols will be coming out any time soon. Yutane might be 1.6, or 2.X. There's no proof to say that the next confirmed Ether agent will be Yutane, since they were leaked early, and the devs even said they'd be coming out much later. If anything, Obol Squad might have an Ether agent sooner.
I’m in the same boat. My ice and electric teams are stacked, and Jane is doing well enough playing dps for my fire team, but Evelyn is a baddie and her combat animations are dope.
I think that would be a mistake to shoehorn yourself solely into mono element comps.
It takes longer to build all mono element comps since your skipping multiple banners for 1 element.
And Astra does far more then just ether. She allows chain atks outside of stun windows, and chain atks are something ellen wants to abuse as much as possible. She heals on ults as well as an atk increase. On paper that doesn't sound like much but it's massive.
And that's not even mentioning the ether stun and ether anomaly coming after Evelyn's banner.
man how are people forgetting qingyi is perfect for a rerun this next patch just because harumasa is given free. i believe qingyi is still more universal while lighter is stronger in specific teams, that being ellen, s11, and evelyn.

Very likely that they are rerunning Qingyi now because she already has a Story Quest. Ellen is getting hers now, Zhu Yuan is probably getting one next Patch so she is rerunning then as well. That does seem like the likeliest explanation imho

You have it backwards, they run banners to optimize sales. Then they do story quests to fit the banner
Getting Qingyi is an awesome move on their part - I think that certainly means we can expect an agent story for Zhu Yuans rerun :D
Ngl I think qingyi is extremely valuable since any characters that isn't fire or ice that wants a stunner she is always bis and new players can build up their harumasa team due to their synergy

Qingyi getting benched is simply not happening with deadly assault here.
Besides, there's this crucial detail that unlike lighter, qingyi's boost is in core passive. She can actually fit in any team. I.e. lighter can't fit next to miyabi/astra but qingyi can.
@@khenevvir6873this is exactly it. As a new player lighter is great but his value is pretty low for a few reasons: we all have miyabi, and she doesn’t need a stunner. She is flexible, so this essentially means lighter becomes exclusively a fire stunner which is very niche. And with Astra and qinqyi most of us will not be pulling Evelyn unless you’re a spender. On top of this, we got a free harumasa and qingyi is best in slot so it’s pretty much a no brainer to grab qingyi.
The only thing would be a new stunner coming (idol?) but qingyi is so universal that I don’t see her getting powercrept. I expect the new stunner to likely have their own niche, like maybe an anomaly stunner or something

I am the ellen enjoyer. Ive played since day one, I got two ellens by sheer luck and ive saved every single pull since. So far I have around 500 pulls saved for ellen and her weapon. I understand that she isnt as good as the others, but waifu is meta.
She still clears and with that many mindscapes she will clear for eternity 😊

The nice thing is if you were one of the few who skipped Miyabi, 1.4 was super generous with the pulls so you have a good shot at picking up who you want in 1.5. I think I'm close to 100 pulls from this patch so far.
I have been mostly saving in recent patches other than Lighter so I was able to get Miyabi M1 and weapon and still have over 100 pulls. I debated M2 but I think I’d like to get some rerun M1s and/or weapons, and maybe go for her M2 on her eventual rerun.
Miyabi is still better than literally all of the agents releasing, re-running and in the game entirely tho lol

Going for Qingyi, love using Harumasa and I do have Zhu Yuan as well so she'd be a nice pickup for both of them, plus using Anby as a replacement just feels a bit too awkward compared to Qingyi's gameplay.

I still use her now, I like she more complicated to play, like easy to play hard to master kinda thing so it nice it not just mash one button and win, you can notice little things to make her more optimal, I wish there were more complex characters like Ellen

Yea as a new player it’s actually perfect. Miyabi can carry with any/random team. Then we get qingyi and Astra for the free harumasa. Now we have 2 very strong teams, after just 1 month. And on miyabi banner most ppl got piper copies. So that’s already 3 strong teams, my next pull will probably be Caesar for piper and I can run with Lucy. Miyabi can just use Nicole or whatever and still destroys lol
I skipped Caesar, I'm gonna be skipping Astra. Outside of the battle tower I just haven't needed a damage reduction unit or sustainer and I'm happy with my A rank buffers for now. All in for my girl Evelyn.

But I don't have Qingyi, so she'll be my priority to complete my Zhu Yuan team. If I win the 50/50 then I'll pull for Evelyn. But I have to say, being a dolphin is getting harder every patch. I'm afraid of what patch 1.6 will bring 😅

@maughtayo Yeah, I was just adding nuance to your suggestion to simply pick the stronger character for the team. There's a balance to strike between picking your favorites, and picking characters who compliment your favorites. Adding a new character with unique synergies, or one that incentivizes new rotations, can drastically affect the feel of a team and make it more fun to play. It's not as simple as just comparing characters in a vacuum.
Rerun wise I'm looking for Caesar and her W-Engine, and maybe Lighter.
This patch I'm thinking I'll go for Astra, and will wait for the 1.6 livestream before pulling for Evelyn (to see if Caesar is rerunning the next patch)

Same problem here lol. Astra would make the most sense for me because I already have burnice so I don't really need another fire dps, but I love Evelyn's design.
So on the topic of Ether having hardly any roles, the ZZZ devs did an interview with the major Japanese game publication Famitsu where they were asked about the lack of ether agents, and they said it was an intentional design choice. Ether is going to be treated as a super rare typing since ether is not a natural element like fire physical and ice is, but in turn it will be extremely powerful. So basically if there's a limited ether banner in rotation, they're gonna be a must pull because who knows when the next time we get an ether agent will be.

It's funny watching this because I remember people saying Lighter was less worth it if you have Qingyi because he's better for ice/fire and that she's more universal. Now people are saying she's not worth as much... I'm pretty sure they're running her because she's perfect for Harumasa, the free 5* everyone got. Probably something to cause people to delve into team building.
I think most players still don't have all the elements covered. It would be wise in the long run to get whichever element team you have not completed.

For comparison: Ceasar's shield gives a flat 1000 attack, Astra is gonna give something around 1200
And now after watching the video I also agree that if you're using an ice/fire Attacker, it would be better to wait for Lighter than to grab Qingyi now. HOWEVER: she's still fun to play and really good

I'll just wait to see the 1.6 drop marketing to make my decision. I was considering getting Evelyn to pair up with my Lighter, but then I tried the Miyabi/Lighter/Lucy team and decided to skip her. I have Yanagi to pair up with Miyabi, but I like the Yanagi/Burnice duo alot.

before lighter was added to the game, i saw a wiki page for upcoming characters that had him listed as an A rank agent. when he was added, i never noticed he was an S rank, so i'm still pissed i never pulled for him
If you like using Harumasa, I think Qingyi is a good pickup if you don't have hear already. If you really like Ellen, I think her M2 is really good to get. Personally, I want to pick up Astra Yao to test her chain attack ability with some characters like my M1 Zhu Yuan and other dps! I'm also planning to get Evelyn and think she is a good unit if you don't have S11 and want a dynamic fire dps!
I have Astra pretty much guaranteed just from the fact that I got extremely lucky with my previous agents (Ellen, Zhu, Qingyi and Burnice, all 50/50 wins on soft pity) and have the polys to spare despite only recently losing 140 pulls with Miyabi. After getting her I'll probably just chill for a while and only focus on polishing drive discs, pulling only for whoever catches my attention lore wise.

I like Burnice, Miyabi, Harumasa, and Caesar, and I already have Miyabi and Harumasa. I run a team with Miyabi, Anby, and Harumasa currently, which I really like, and the person who introduced me to the team, who claims it's the strongest team in the game at this point in time (evidence given: it's the only team that can beat the hardest boss in the game in one cycle at M0; I didn't check this), said Qingyi is BiS in that team. I plan on getting Yanagi because she pairs insanely well with Burnice, unless they release a character that works better. I want to make the characters I like as strong as they can be, including getting additional Agents, W-Engines, and Mindscapes to accomplish that. I will, however, remain completely F2P.
I want to pull for Qingyi as she seems extremely good and is very fun to play imo. I am worried though that re running her now means that they plan on power creeping her next with a way better stunner.
What about qingyi for harumasa
As a harumasa enjoyer. The timing for qingyi rerun was absolutely perfect. I have harumasa's M1 and W-engine. I have no Rina or grace so i need her to buff him significantly. I would pull for astra for my miyabi BUT miyabi is already strong enough to thug it out with soukaku. I do hope there will be more supports like astra in the near future.

Since, Astra will be good for most teams.
While Qingyi will be good for my mono Electric Team.
All these events will give us loads of polychrome and we are getting like 20-23 free pulls as well.
Astra is going to be top 1 for my Miyabi-Yanagi team which is my main while im not sure for Evelyn where I would wait and see as need something decent for 2nd team on some modes like Deadly Assault or Shiyu defense. I do have Harumasa built too with his sig so not sure if Qingyi or Evelyn depending on how much spares I have from Astra and her sig.
Seems still a very long time till Yanagi sig rerun so might as well complete my main team first with Astra incoming to end the struggle of finding the 3rd member for the team.
Astra feels more like a luxury than a necessity with how many 4* supports that's available for us to play. Because of that I'm going for Qingyi.
I doubt she power creeps Nicole specifically. She's a burst-debuffer due to her short durations that further buffs ether specifically. Astra so far looks like a generalist support like Lucy who happens to also be ether. Evelyn is the better one to mention for outright power creeping. No shot the standard fire attacker comes close to her level. Anything buffing one buffs the other (my wish for Eve to have a bad Ult multiplier is dead)
I would say Astra is just an upgrade to Caesar *purely in terms of buffing* because of doing DMG and attack buffs. The unique thing Astra does, outside of aoe healing, is proc-extra chain attacks which could be a much a nice extra chunk of burst depending on the character, like Nicole getting an extra gravity field, Zhu getting 2 extra bullets, and whatever a future character may do with their chain attack, on top of the much higher mods compared to Quick Assists.
I don't think she's going to be over powered or anything since we've seen Caesar before, and that's good since specialists like Lighter should always provide their niche more power than a generalist. But Caesar is still really good, and Astra looks better in terms of buffing.
As a new player I might just buy enough for all of them whilst I have the double bonus in shop and we have lots of freebies coming. I haven’t enjoyed a game so much since my early Genshin 4 years ago (PoE2 is great as well though).
I grinded hard to get Ellen when the game launched, but she's basically obsolete now that I have Miyabi, so I'm not seeing a reason to pull more on her re-run, especially when I need another Either agent and my damage output on Fire/Physical teams is lacking. Ellen carried the interest up to this point for me, but Caesar, Yanagi and Miyabi have got it from here. Guess I'll be adding Astra to the list.

I just got into the game a few days ago and I'm only at about Inter-Knot 27 and just starting chapter 2. Unfortunately, I missed Miyabi as I couldn't pull her in time. Based on the video would it be wise for me to bank and get Evelyn to help me clear through some of the beginning content? I'm still in the middle of finishing my Nicole and Soldier 11 builds, so I don't feel right getting new replacements of them when I haven't even finished the builds. But more importantly my funds have been thanos snapped by Miyabi and Harumasa (I got his w-engine because I loved him so much), so I'll probably get Astra on her rerun if I feel like it by then. Still not sure about Evelyn though.

I was going to pull for Evelyn because I like her design and I didn't have fire element characters at all meaning some fights were struggle for me, but I pulled Soldier 11 on last night on the standard banner so now it's bit more of a questionmark. I have Miyabi, so my ice is well covered, and while I'm sure Astra is great I don't really like her personality so far, so it'll remain to be seen. From meta perspective I might roll for her but I think I'll wait to hear what 1.6 characters are once 1.5 lands before I go using my polys.

Where were those Ellen and QY cut scenes from? I've been playing this game since launch and I keep seeing things in GIFs and now this vid that I've never experienced before...

Dang, miyabi dodge my pull today. Well well well, now who should I choose. Since I just come back after getting zhu yuan back then. Should I just try my shot to pull astra yao? Or qingyi is the way? Currently only focus building 1 team and that is zhu yuan anby nicole. Should I upgrade anby to qingyi or nicole to astra? Still lvl 34 so I still have a lot to do anyway
Qingyi was my first limited character but I didn't get her w-engine so that'll be a very nice upgrade for my Harumasa team
Its all comes down to preference as always and i guess with who you might already have as well. I have ellen, bernice, jane, yanagi, miyabi, and even solider 11, among others so Evelyn is completely pointless for me to get even though i love her gameplay, astra is a bit more useful for me but honestly i have never used characters for buffs and debuffs and her healing is only on the ultimate if you have a Ceasar you probably don't even need her at all, so while both of them are beauties that are beyond hot, they are not a must 😂
I’m going to go for Astra just to make my miyabi even stronger and if I don’t manage to get her I’ll probably save for a ceasar rerun or someone else intrigues me enough
I still haven't decide whether getting Astra or Evelyn or both. I got Burnice already so probably best getting Astra is the only option cuz lack ATK damage atm. So yeah I dont know yet
If i lose the 50/50 to Astra then im going to pull for Qingyi or a possible Zhu Yuan rerun on 1.6 (i hope)
I just want to know that the guy that got revealed in the 1.5 teaser is going to be playable in the next patch, if yes I’m going to get him
I have been waiting for Ellen and joined on Qingyi’s banner. I might have Miyabi but after all this game isn’t a meta game you do you I mean if Billy can do it anyone character you want can. On that note I’m going Qingyi and Ellen and maybe Astra if I’m lucky

This is so hard, only limited S-rank I have is Miyabi and of course free Harumasa. I don't have S11 so Evelyn would make also sense, but Qingyi would benefit my existing Harumasa team a lot. Astra would also work well as my Nicole is not yet M6, but pulling Qingyi, I will probably get her there.
Impossible to decide who to prioritize! With luck I have enough pulls for 2 characters.
My personal rule is to always grab the first limited support, which ig ceasar technically was but i got jane doe. so now its a no brainer for me.
See I'd roll Astra. But I have guaranteed and want Eve more. To be fair, I've been playing since day 1 and I have stuff built up.
I'm probably only gonna try pulling for Astra if she's gonna be fun for my playstyle and account. Everyone else is a skip unless I want to make a guarantee, which I'll only try making on Astra or Gingyi's banner.

What are your thoughts on 1,5? Look like they are adding a lot of side activities and enhancing the arcade games, donyou think that's a good way to add something to do besides the content?
I'd love to get more Ellen stuff but shes under Eve and Qingyi engine on the prio list
