This game was so advanced for 2004. It still holds up nearly 20 years later. I still play it once a year and never get bored, and I always learn something new. Rockstar really outdid themselves with this game, hoping GTA six or seven will be something similar to this

Yeah, shit drove me nuts. You basically have to kamikaze your way through those rooms because woozies men will slowly saunter into your line of site to be bullet sponges for all the guards. I'm all about cover and concealment in missions so that part made this one frustrating as hell.

I've failed this mission about 100 times because the NPCs keep rushing ahead of me and getting shot. I cannot get in front of them. Some are invisible until its shown them dead. Absolute crap.
On the Nintendo Switch version, a fatal bug occurs every time I play this mission. Whenever CJ gets in the elevator to get to the rooftop, right after he exits the elevator, the game crashes. The developers need to fix this!

To explain the reason for the hiest, the caligulas casino was the front and base of the families that run liberty city, with the main owner salvatore from the leone family running it. It was the most popular casino in san andreas and is the largest hotel in the world, with the casino being mob runned. They basically owned the san fierro area and las vanturas and were very powerful. They were responsible for trying to scare woozie out of his casino by making him pay and be under thier thumb. Problem was that he didnt know who was the one running the schemes and didn't want to work with them. As many families like the sindacco and forellies were sabotaging him with destroyed slots and counterfeit chips, as well as scaring many of his staff and members. But thanks to cj, he found out who was responsible for the hits from the henchman he had tied to the car. So he decided to make a hiest to not only steal the money to hurt the families, but to make his casino be better then caligulas by killing many of thier members and making thier gang, the mountain cloud boys, be the ones in control. As taking down that casino would ruin thier reputation for good and make woozies gang more powerful. After destroying thier plastics factory and gaining a key card that had access to thier entire casino, they had the steps ready to make a big plan. Many coincidences ended up helping cj greatly, with the first owning a air strip and learned how to fly planes and helicopters due to helping toreno. Amazingly, truths brits friends that happened to be stranded in the desert were actually working in the caligulas casino with their manager rosie and it was the perfect opening cj needed to get in the casino without rousing suspicion. Even taking a few jobs from rosie to eliminate a gang and earn rosies trust. When salvatore came, he tried to gain total control of the area and cj realized he need to pull the hiest fast, as he can order the gangs families to take woozie out and full control of the strip. But the problem was that rosie and his 2 brits were basically hostages because they worked for salvatore, and if they were to pull the heist, they would be killed for being involved with cj. So he pulled off some missions for salvatore to gain his respect and trust all while getting everything ready to have the heist ready and stall him from trying to take woozie out. The final step was to get the brits out of the casino, and thanks to cjs work in the saint marks bistro in liberty city mission, he was able to get them out safely, hiding thier escape by lying they got killed, and also get salvatores gaurd down, not suspecting he was gonna betray him. So with everything in place, the hiest was finaly ready to go. So when they did the mission it would have been done perfectly, until they had one problem with zero accidentally blabbing the plan to Berkley, who not only called the cops, but also tried to sabotage the heist and warning salvatore. This resluted in a serious and dangerous gang war in the casino, with cjs crew barly able to escape alive with the money. Cj needed to drive the attention from woozies crew away from the gang and the police so he became a scapegoat and used the helicopters to take thier attention. Which resulted in him gaining a new helicopter in the procees, and getting to punch zero for what he did( to be honest I wanted to kill him after what he did, hes LUCKY cj just gave him a punch) In the end though, cj succeed in stealing the casino and manage to win and beat salvatore in his own game. When salvatore found out cj was responsible for the hiest, he wanted to threaten him by the phone, but cj wasnt fazed cause not only did he beat him, but his casino lost power in the territory, and woozies gang became the strongest in san fierro and las vanturas. And since cj was the shared owner of the four dragons casino, backed up and protected by the strongest san fierro triads mountain cloud boys, he can only bark at cj as they can easily destroy him if they tried to retaliate in las venturas, forcing him to flee back to liberty city. To this day i laugh at salvatore threatening cj because he got played so good.

This was the mission I was missing. I’ve been stuck at 97.47% completion for months, and kept going around making sure I had done all the side tasks. Turns out, I had neglected one of my lady friends, Millie, and never gotten her keycard. It only took me 20 years to complete San Andreas.
Every single time my cut scene to blow open the vault door glitches and the door stays there. I can't get into the vault but sometimes it I get close enough on the door, the mafia guys run down the stairs and then it glitches me inside the vault with all the guys stuck outside the vault, getting shot at. Can't complete the mission.

Put on your night vision goggles before getting into the elevator and then it won't crash, this is the worst made game ever. I had a bug in the jetpack mission where the jetpack wouldn't fly at all and id keep dying, then I realised that I need full health to fly so I used a cheat code and finished the mission

I completed the mission after End of the Line… Presumably as a bonus mission after the final cutscene of the game when Kendl tells CJ to go to Las Venturas to roll some dice with Woozie after defeating Tenpenny.
This mission was a pain until I worked out you can top up your energy by going to the vending machine
This saved the rage i was having for this damn mission, thanks so much👌🏼🤣

For those who say that this mission is missing is that you need to get a keycard in millies house to start it after that when you exit the house woozie will call saying that it is time to start the heist and now the mission appears now on the map
Probablu the best heist of GTA, i enjoyed GTA 5 and online Heists, but this is another level of epicness

This was the mission I was missing. I’ve been stuck at 97.47% completion for months, and kept going around making sure I had done all the side tasks.
Turns out, I had neglected one of my lady friends, Millie, and never gotten her keycard.
It only took me 20 years to complete San Andreas.

Every single time my cut scene to blow open the vault door glitches and the door stays there. I can't get into the vault but sometimes it I get close enough on the door, the mafia guys run down the stairs and then it glitches me inside the vault with all the guys stuck outside the vault, getting shot at. Can't complete the mission.

0:01 The Caligulas Logo is painted onto the van and at 3:16 It's gone. This is something they never fixed since the PS2 version of the game.

Put on your night vision goggles before getting into the elevator and then it won't crash, this is the worst made game ever. I had a bug in the jetpack mission where the jetpack wouldn't fly at all and id keep dying, then I realised that I need full health to fly so I used a cheat code and finished the mission

@@Sosabbyx huh do you have the emblem to go to start the heist? if not you still got a few missions to do. if not its a bug you may have to restart from the last save. it does that at times.
I tried this mission about 30 times today and the vault doesn’t break open and I get stuck in there causing the mission to fail has anyone else have this problem?

My game crashed when entering the elevator, put you're night vision on before entering the elevator it worked for me, it wont crash then

This mission was too hard for me. Gave me such anger! AND I played it with checkpoints, can’t even imagine without them. And yes, I didn’t get the helicopter in the end, had to jump off the terrace I landed on 😂
