Loved this thanks 😊
Great! Happy to hear it. Lots on IG too 💋
This is the first time I've seen one of your videos, but that was so helpful! Thank you!
That’s so nice to hear! Thank you so much, Catherine! Be sure to come play with me on Instagram too! Lots more there.
Great video, thanks. I'm just getting back into makeup and learning to use cream eyeshadow and sticks for the first time.
You’re so welcome! I have lots more on my Instagram too. 💋
Great tutorial.
Glad you thought so!❤️
Love your video
Thanks! 💋
Loved this video :)
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the feedback 💋
Sold!!!!! Great tutorial
Thanks! ❤️❤️
Hi. I’m Pam and I’m a binge watcher. I’ve used the Beauty Pie sticks and love them!
And I’m thoroughly enjoying each and every video I see!
Hi Pam! I love a binge watcher! Lots more on my Instagram to if you haven’t gone there yet. It’s the same handle. Welcome! So glad you’re getting some enjoyment out of my content. XO
I have been watching makeup videos for a very long time. Lucky I hit jackpot today and found you. A mature beautiful woman who knows what she is doing. Thank you for all the tips and tricks. I just found out about LM Caviar sticks bought a few and didn’t know exactly what to do. Again thx!! I am a new subscriber!!
Thanks Dana!! that’s so sweet! There’s a ton more on my Instagram at the same handle. Welcome!
@@MakingUpForGlossedTime I’m following you now! Thank you! You are super fun to watch.
Amethyst is just what I am looking for!
It’s a great color!
I also love the Bobbi Brown eye shadow sticks, they're a little easier to blend. Loving your channel Jen
Thank you Anna! ❤️
very pretty look
@@emiliaescobar7652 thanks so much!
Just watching your video because I recently began using the Caviar Sticks. I love the shades and the fact that they give all day depth to the lid and that they are easily blended. Good video, thanks for the tips. Some of my Bobbie Brown sticks dried out in the tube, so Laura seems to be my choice.
glad you found it helpful!
Great tips, thanks! My Lu makeup has been looking kind of “kabuki theatre-ish” lately, and I think it’s because I need the matte caramel as a transition shade, as well as the blending and placement tips you gave. Thanks!
So glad you found it helpful! Please come and follow on Instagram too! Lots there.
I have a couple I bought from Costco and they are great. I bought the Milani ones, but have nottried them yet AND I just picked up the Bobbie Brown mini set at Nordstrom. I am obsessed with cream shadows.
I love them too! Great for longevity and can be easy to work with.
Perfecto da'ling
Thanks Suzanne!💋
Love love love this! 🤦🏼♀️ I cannot believe I haven’t experimented with other caviar sticks on the same look- multi sticks, one look, I mean. Sigh.
Glad you found it helpful! ❤️
I love eyeshadow sticks, haven’t tried the Laura Mercier yet. The Elf sticks don’t stay very well. If you run across any drugstore ones that wear well please let us know. Maggie De beauty on UA-cam said that Milani has some good eyeshadow sticks. Enjoyed your video.💕
Thank so much!
Hello love your video - I have hoody eyes and would love to try these ! Please could you recommend a couple of colours for me I have very dark brown eyes and am 47 ??!
Thanks so much. I listed the colors I used… I’m 50 and have dark brown eyes so the ones I used should work beautifully for you. Give them a try. XO
Do you ever use an eyeshadow base before using these. Great looking and informative.
I don’t find that I need to. These have great staying power.
What lipstick do you have on in this video? It’s lovely!
Hi beautiful! It is number 140 rouge allure ink from Chanel.💋
Try kiko shadow sticks they are 2nd best to mercier caviar sticks !! ❤️❤️❤️
I keep hearing that! I’ll check them out!
Thank goodness I found you.
Aww thank you Cheryl! Be sure to follow me on Instagram. Lots there!
Love your videos! Where can I go to get shade matching for foundations? I've tried department stores and the employees behind the counter don't have a clue about the product!
Thank you! They should know how to match foundations. That’s a basic core competency of the job. But you may want to try Sephora… They also have machines that they can use to scan your skin and tell you which foundation shades match you in store.
Come play on IG too! 😘
I also love your hair! Would love to see how it is cut all the way around. I am a former cancer patient with very fine hair now which I would like to keep short to my head. and I think your cut would suit me well.
Did you use a eye shadow primer? I have the color cobble stone and vanilla kiss and the cobble stone seems to be patchy when I try to blend or it has even disappeared in spots, geez! I do want to add I have oily eyelids. Btw gorgeous! Why can't I get this look?
Did you use a eyeshadow primer?
❤
Do you use a primer first, and if you do, which one do you recommend? Ty.
Hi! With these shadow sticks, you don’t need a primer. They are long wearing without needing one. I post a lot of beauty tutorials on my Instagram too!
LM are nice but the cream shadow sticks from Mii Cosmetics I find are better - I have a mature oilyish lid.
No kidding? I’ll have to check them out!
Also would be helpful if you mentioned exactly what brushes you are using…thank you again
Good point! I often don’t because most of my brushes I’ve had for 20 years and they don’t exist so it’s even more frustrating when I mention something that someone can’t find. I do have some posts about brushes on my Instagram which you might find helpful. XO
@@MakingUpForGlossedTime That makes sense. I watched them all thank you!! Great videos.
Such a great tutorial. Beautiful results, but I just kept thinking you definitely don’t have hooded eyes. 😉
There are varying degrees of hooded eyes… I am mostly hooded on the outside half… can’t get a winged liner crisp to save my life!😂
This is great! I still can't figure out the best shadow and tones for me.. I have been told that I'm a "winter" so I never wear gold (I have salt and pepper hair and brown eyes). But it's so confusing. I feel like you have my coloring, but you are wearing peaches and pinks and things which I thought I couldn't. Maybe you're more olive than me? Help. lol. :)
Glad you found it helpful! We just had this conversation during a Live I did in my closet on my Instagram page. It’s the same handle. @makingupforglossedtime. We did a lot of discussions about undertones and the old “color me beautiful” seasons… You might find it helpful. Definitely follow me there as there’s a lot of conversations around undertones often!
Look for the “live from my closet” post! 😘
@@MakingUpForGlossedTime Oo I'll check it out!!! I love your look!!!
Anyone who says Badassery is my kinda gal!
😂😂 not sure how I missed this comment, but I’m laughing!
I just can’t make these shadows work. They look nice when they first go on, but not after a few hours….the color changes or they fade, and they just look dry and crumbly. Doesn’t matter what I use under them.
Bummer! I have good luck with them.
