My dad got me into level 42 when I was younger and I haven't stopped listening to them ever since.
Since the "Early days" i'm a big fun of this group, very nice track.
I love it all, the bass line, the keyboards, and oh the drums in this... Mike's voice here is amazing and Mark effortless singing is fantastic.

You could just about sell these cats to a die hard, crusty old Steely Dan fan like myself. With the brass section and the top level musicianship they could at least be mentioned in the same sentence as The Dan. I've listened to L42 since Pursuit but this is the first time I recall hearing this one. Love it!

Can Mark ever play a bad bass line ? Every song by the guys is a hook, hook, hook.

A gorgeous song from Mike…And I can attest that Mike is one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet…As one of my childhood musical heroes (I wore out my 45 of The Sun Goes Down) I first met him (& his lovely family) when we were both mixing at the same London recording studio in 2008 and then again much more recently at Foyles bookstore in Charing Cross Road, London, where I approached him and we had a lovely conversation. Sometimes your heroes are NOT disappointments and are all you hope they would be. Beautiful.

This is by far and away the best Level 42 track since the mid 80’s ( since Lying Still). Been many great tracks in ‘recent’ years ( I.e. from the consummate Forever Now album ) but this is in a different league👌

These guys keep «kicking ass» after all these years... They are as good if not better live than in studio recording... This is sooooo groovy ! Saw them live in Quebec City in 2019... I'm in pain from not having them come to North America more often...

i bet many would poo poo mike lindup using a prerecorded synth-keyboard loop in the intro . But one of the greatest synth keyboard wizards Joe Zawinul (best known for being leader of band Weather Report) did the same thing too .
