Shelby is indeed a wonderful talent. Gotta say, though, that it's hard to go wrong with a Hal David/Burt Bacharach pair of songs. Shelby has a beautiful touch on this pair of classic that Dusty Springfield originally made hits.
Again repeating mine sentence: very nice for afternoon hot tea facing the blue skies on Sunday or just a simple warm mushroom soup moment for those late nights facing the night skies white listening to it.

Olá Rui: No idea about this girl before. her voice is gently and warm So I know those songs from several covers and movies, and of course performances by her original vocalist Dusty Springfield. The Look Of Love is part of the OSD "Casino Royale 1967". That film was rejected by Bond's comunity, a lot of fans Bond's Film didn't ever notice 007 is a parody already.. So, Casino Royale 1967 is the parody of parody :) I dind't expect to find an entire studio tribute album. Is not usual for me, usually live performance homage are made as tribute album. As usual, and no need to mention, Great audio and Great video Best!

Yep, it's a smooth album indeed, in audio quality and musically. But I still prefer Dusty Springfield's version of "The Look Of Love". On a different topic, i'm not very happy about the image quality of the video, in the past few months YT puts a lot of compression on my videos, lots of grain, blocking, and other compression artifacts, especially on the blurred backgrounds. I tried different formats, but to no avail... 😣 By the way, i edited this video with Davinci Resolve 16, did you tried this one before?

How do you find it after Premiere Pro? I guess there are plus and minus points, and learning a different interface can slow you down (something I found when I moved to Final Cut).
@@MusicAndVinyl Your videos look very clean on my side, but my own videos have lots of compression after uploading - at least on my side - and usually after a couple of days they tend to improve a bit (YT continues to do some more processing after the uploading) but never to the same degree of quality of the original file. Davinci is very good but there is a learning curve indeed, it's very different from Premiere in a lot of ways, i still thing Premiere has a more intuitive interface, but i can change my oppinion after practicing a bit more with Davinci Resolve. I tried the free version for a short period of time, which is already very good, and recently i bought the Studio version. Some advantages of Davinci: it is a perpetual licence, you don't have to deal with that subscription nonsense (rented software) from Adobe. In the perspective of value for money, and for what i do, Davinci makes more sense to me. In the same piece of software we have the editing feature; the color grading, which is probably the strongest feature; the Fusion, which is the equivalent of After Effects; and the Fairlight which is the audio portion of the software, a bit like Audition. Sadly, it doesn't have a Photoshop equivalent included. Having said that, Premiere is great with keyframing, titles and graphics, and the exporting video formats are almost infinite compared with Resolve. The subscription model allows you to use some online features including storage space, fonts, etc, which can be handy. If i was a pro in the need of all those 20 different softwares, Adobe would make more sense to me, (i love their products) but i only use 4 or 5, so, for now i will keep both Adobe and Davinci, but maybe in a few months i can ditch Adobe, we'll see.

In the end I bought Final Cut for a one-off payment (I was working in the Higher Education sector at the time so got an educational discount ;o) I'll have to have another look at Resolve to see what it can do. I have noticed sometimes with my videos that they play back in poor quality for a short period, but I put that down to my broadband's bandwidth at the time.

Hello, in my opinion all three cartridges offer variations around the same fundamental Goldring sound, and with different degrees of finesse. Naturally, despite being a very capable cartridge for the price, the E3 is the less refined of the trio, and i think that with a good preamp the improvement will be noticeable with any of the other two cartridges. The Eroica is perhaps the one with the more natural and "bigger" sound. The 1042 has a tighter bass and a clean sound, i have the impression of slightly more detail with the 1042, but could sound a bit thinner compared with the Eroica, not in a bad way i'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's just different, personal preference plays a role here. Other things to consider: The 1042 is usually cheaper than the Eroica, and you need a decent MC preamp to take advantage of the Eroica, (which i think you have) and also, you will not be able to switch the stylus of the Eroica on your own when it wears out.

@Nick Taylor I've already deep cleaned it to no avail, it just sounds like poor quality vinyl,you can hear it on the runout groove it rumble's. I had to order from America couldn't get it here in UK only the 2 LP set @£70 !!!
