The song which is played the most is 彝族舞曲 which is a grade 6 pipa song. I personally think that 0:45 - 1:28 and 1:29 - 2:14 sounded the least pleasing as for the clip starting at 0:45 she was not wearing nails so it is understandable for her to have difficulty playing certain notes and I'm surprised she managed the 轮 so well. For the clip that started at 1:29, the pipa went out of tune while she was pulling the string as part of the song so it is also not her fault even though the song sounded out of tune as it just means that the pipa is not a good one. However, I think the last clip is the best she played. She hit every single note and did the 轮 part extremely well :)

I didn't know much about her but she plays the pipa extremely professionally it's shocking. You can't do that if you don't spend years and years practicing. Stunning visual, wonderful personality, bilingual with extreme talents. Even if you're jealous you can't help but love her. I'm a new fan
As a former pipa player, I can assure that ITS PAINFUL when u play without instrument nails. If u realise, there some certain parts in the video that she doesn't play with the instrument nails, and the quality of her music is UNAFFECTED. Glad to Stan a talent

As someone who won first place in the liuqin (a chinese instrument) competition for students in my city, i must tell you that she plays really, really well, maybe like grade eight for Western instruments (or grade ten, as it goes in China). She has great control over the tone and the “rolling” plucking of the strings and honestly I clicked on this vid expecting mediocre playing and I was pleasantly surprised. I think I’m a fan now lol 😂

Pipa is not an instrument you can easily pick up and judging from how she played, she must have had years of practice

Woozi is Short he only 164cm yeah, after years of practice, that happens hahaha cause I play a chinese instrument which is somewhat similar to a violin which only has 2 strings. The pipa is easier as all u have to do is tune it properly and press the string at the correct section, however the movement for the playing is harder as u actually have to learn the technique. She's really good and I'm not saying because I'm a fan but because I do chinese music as well
When u play a pipa you small individual picks that are on each finger that kinda look like nails from a distance but she actually was wearing them you probably just couldn’t tell because of the camera angles but in some clips you can see that she has tape around her fingers that’s because of the picks on her nails
zhengqi it doesn't really damage your nails, actually my teacher plays it without nails (he shapes his nails to form the shape of the nail picks) and if you take care of your nails well and play it with your normal nails, the sound produced will be better than when you play with nail picks
You can tell a lot about a musician from their body language and facial expressions. Most true virtuosos have this look about them when they play an instrument they love, and this young lady has that expression every time she plays.

Coming from a person who has never played the pipa and has no idea about Chinese culture at first I thought it would be easy I mean a cella but fingers instead of a bow and fingertapes on every note but then when I analyzed it that plucking is SICc and that vibrato isn't like a cello' s idk looks hard
I think it is the 4 or 5 song that she gets lost in the music as she speeds up, you can see her musicality and loosing herself in the music as she plays.
