    What a beautiful place!
I haven't stopped kicking myself after I failed to work out how to use that similar charger in Metz on my road trip. Particularly idiotic since I charged at one in Chambery years ago and spent five minutes working out I needed to close the door to charge. One day I'll learn from my mistakes! 🤦‍♂

Great first video. Lovely location to charge. I was just wondering what car you drive, and then you mentioned Tesla (plus then I recognised it!).

Nice vid. We've had variable success with some chargers as some want you to connect and then scan and others don't. We've also had one cars refused and another work to only have the reverse the following week. We use Electroverse and Freshmile and so far one has worked

Thanks for the comment! Yes we also find that the card doesn't always work and have Freshmile as a backup. Using the Electroverse app is a more reliable alternative if you can charge from the app on a given charger - we could have done it via the app on this one but used the card for demo purposes!

At 2:48 when plugging in Type 2 cable, I notice there is no rubber plug to protect the DC charging port on car (two lowest pins) from inclement weather when using Type 2 cable for charging, over time that might have a detrimental effect should they corrode, or just build up of dirt in socket.
Some have a rubber plug as standard which then needs to be removed when using the rapid charger CCS (Combined Charge System) plug which utilises all the pins of charge port.

Thanks yes I don't believe the Tesla has a rubber plug to protect the connector, although ours was not from new so perhaps it's been lost? could be worth getting a third party protector because as you say the DC charging port is exposed for many hours at a time.
