Thanks Nathan, just what I thought and have always done. Another question, does aging actually make latex tougher? It seemed to me that a brand new band was more fragile, where bands that I had stored for at least a couple of years sealed in my basement took less damage. I am going to guess it is just my imagination coupled with some random coincidences, but that was my perception with the few samples I had each way, most other things being equal. BTW, in my youth I always used smooth stones by the river on our property, so my bands were quite prone to damage from that, but those wrist-rocket tubes were kind of beefy and took a lot of it with style. But it made me buy bands ahead to store, and rotate out the older aged ones when I needed them. I still think that's a good idea, but maybe not with any durability benefits as I thought.

It is actually the opposite. The aged latex will last less shots. It may have been different brands and thus the difference.

Accuracy is all up to the shooter. There is not one slingshot that is more accurate than another. I would recommend the Scout X or the Scout LT to start with.
