I speak 5 languages and I never carry this attitude with me to belittle people that have different accents! Knowing languages doesnt make you better than anyone. I think you got it all wrong. Usually when you try a new language and speak it with the native speakers, they never discourage you even if you speak it wrong. They show some appreciation that you are trying to learn, but you are just arrogant with that stuff. Congratulations for knowing French. A lot of people do who aren't mean and arrogant.

Maître Gims was born in Congo and he grew up in France.
Since 1 year or 2 he lives in an amaaaazing Riad in Marrakech with his wife DemDem and his children. That’s why he loves morocco and speaks moroccan pretty well. They live there because they said that it’s very beautiful and quiet where they live, in the middle of the nature, and as an artistic family they needed this quiet.
So yeah!
