Joshua also reveals for the first time what went wrong in the first fight at Madison Square Garden and how being a role model will inspire the next generation of boxers. - Спорт
This guy is so humble 👍🏾
oh like when he said Ruiz's OVER HAND RIGHT HOOK was a lucky punch! don't worry well done AJ you got your belts back, but Ruiz made it easier by not preparing properly!!!
is fanboy Nelson disagreeing with that?
Vicas Bailey
Do you not have anything better to do than parroting horse shit? Ruiz lost
Yeah now!!!! Because it's a bad look to be cocky and get embarrassed and beat up like he did the first fight. Ok we had a long laugh at AJ this year so now it's back to him hiding and talking his way out of fighting Wilder. No more B level fighters for AJ he'll now be fighting only D level fighters to ensure he never loses again.
Tourus Stanley
You know nothing
What kills me, is all the haters! When you see a guy as humble as AJ, and a guy with zero malice! And people constantly bashing him, when he has achieved so much in such a short time. Show respect to a guy that shows respect!!!! 👊🏾
Rocco Cade straight fella it’s becoming very annoying he’s only had 24 fights learning his trade gaining exp in the glare of the worlds media envy’s a dirty thing 🙏👊👊
Haters gonna hate. No matter what happen, they will always be like that. AJ will respond them with the same attitude. And don’t forget that they will always be just a few morons making a lot of noise. Just noise.
🏃🏃🏃💨💨😂
Its funny because even when lonnox lewis was dominating he was hated too like its a crime for a guy from the u.k to be a champion
Much respect he did what he had to do, BUT I won’t respect fully until he fights wilder, Ortiz, or fury! That’s all I’m saying. PERIOD
Big up Steve Bunce top of the game with interviews and punditry over the years.
My sister's work colleague goes to AJ's gym, and she says he's the nicest sweetest guy. LOL!
I'm sure he was real sweet to her lol
@@dojo1371 Doesn't have to be about sex bro. AJ is a nice guy, no rocket science.
djagne luyindriouglo not true first time I saw him too while I was at work he was so so nice & humble I didn’t even know him then I wasn’t into boxing cos him I’m a boxing fan much love Aj.
@djagne luyindriouglo get therapy you pathetic fuck.
@djagne luyindriouglo - If anyone thinks their girlfriend won't cheat on them take them down to this gym.
DAZN better make a comeback Documentary
lets hope Stallone fucking swallow his words too lol
Great idea!
Pc Jacob yeaah need that still 👍
Am now fit enough to watch the first fight and the documentary too....
Wouldnt be entertaining in the highlight clips, he aint even drop ruiz once
AJ IS A CLASS, HUMBLE, GENTLE GIANT, I WISH HIM ALL THE BEST,. HE HAS BROKEN TOO MUCH BOXING RECORDS WITHIN 9 YEARS
Aj has the record for being the ONLY Heavyweight champion beaten up by a Mexican.
What boxing records? Wilder has passed Ali in title defenses and has the highest knockout ratio in history. Wtf has AJ done again?
Wladimir negotiated him an awesome HUGO BOSS deal man!
Really?
Openmind Conservative just look at his track suit - furthermore he’s cool with Wladimir and he’s an HugoBoss ambassador
Oh, that'll make him a better fighter, gee Hugo Boss; so the fuck what. He should be negotiating a contract to fight Wilder and fight for undisputed. However that is not going to happen because he's afraid of Wilder. History will record Joshua as an "also ran", a footnote.
@@ihopetowin Wilder was a FREE AGENT when he turned down 120 million for a 3 fight deal, including 2 with AJ. 20 of that was to fight Breazeale, instead he took the safe optioned and earned a quarter of that for the Breazeale fight. Wilder only mentions AJ's name when they are tied up in fights, the guy is a bellend
@@truthhurts1884 The problem is you know AJ will get his head knocked off. You know this and it's why you feel you have to make up, embellish or extrapolate from erroneous rumours little stories to suit your narrative. If Joshua fights Wilder the way he fought Ortiz he'll get himself hospitalised.
I have never seen or heard of any boxer (heavyweight champion ) , or fighter who was or is as humble and classy as Anthony Joshua.
Never ever ...! What a man !!!
Well Ali
One of the best interviews I've seen from Anthony Joshua if not, the best! Cracking stuff.
Champ,
Got to be careful... don't drinking or eat stuff from people you don't know; specially coming to America. They could have mixed something in your drink or water in the first match; resulting you getting tired and being weak. May God protect you... you seem like a very likeable and respectful individual.
Astral Nemix hahahahaha.....maybe aka skins was trying to kill him
Farhad sayed. You sound ridiculous.
I think you got the point, I thought that way too
ihopetowin - AJ’s a very wealthy and respected individual, u really think everybody in boxing want him at the number one spot???? Heavy weight Champion??? U think Al Haymon want that???
farhad sayed That’s a bit harsh here in America we don’t do shit like that! Come on man!
AJ respect,you made us proud
Great interview 👍 well done Team Joshua 🥊🥊🥊
Gosh, man. Nobody is perfect, but this Joshua guy is close.
Everybody in the comments is talking about vitamins and taking too much blood. It's clear that his health / fatigue issues were down to the pressure of being world champion, perhaps some mild anxiety / depression issues - he hints at that quite strongly in this anyway. The expectations of a whole nation, the hype, the interviews... it's too much for anybody to handle! We are all human.
The thing I like about this interview is that it's mostly just 3 boxing fans talking about boxing.
Anthony was compromised in the fight against Ruiz. He was not himself that night. I'm glad he's back.
Exactly my point
AJ only lost the first fight due to the worlds media and other obligations overtaking his life.. taking piece by piece from him..leaving him a burnt out shell in the first fight.we all could see he wasn't right even before the bell went.he was mentally and physically roasted.A by product of his own success...utmost respect for AJ and his future.
Blessed
Pure class. A really good human!
Humble guy!!
Joshua Song: ua-cam.com/video/raE4e9LGSx4/v-deo.html
Eny 1 saying the fight was crap there just the wilder fans.. the hole 300 of them😂 I love as as the ko artist he is but I found this fight more gripping than eny other 1. And plus he proved all the haters that sed he could box aha well he done well for 12 rounds not even really sweating, he could of gone another 4 rounds, king of the ring💯 the man deserves those belts and it’s not fair him not having that 4th windmill should be made mandatory he’d be fooked then. Aj will be undisputed and deserves to be a billionaire and with the Diaz contract he won’t be far off. Well done aj I had you for 100% win eny way. And if aj lost then still 100% fan. 💯👊🏻💥
They better have made a documentary
This guy is so..
Rich.
Im a bit scared for the wilder fight if it ever happens, to be honest. AJ doesnt have the chin nor the head movement of fury, so that laser beam straight right will be looking for him all night. He will have to do the opposite of the ruiz fight. Wilder would love it if he stayed on the outside. He will have to step in when wilder loads up the right. Havent really seen wilder do any damage from the guard, and AJ has some good inside uppercuts on his resume. But he should definitely be aggressive and go for the kill.
Fantastic interview
My son. AJ, thank you my son. I am happy
AJ you are the best role model
We need to see Usyk vs Joshua
I see four in the horizon
AJ is a good guy
Well done aj top man
What was the operation ?
This humble great champion is a role model to all but don't take his kindness for weakness he came from the streets of north London where he fought collecting debts "the landlord " he's got a nasty side which is why he's a great man a true champion
AJ SICK GUY
Aj is defending 4 major belts of 5 major belts.
Wilder is defending just one major belt.
#Levels.
Andy Ruiz knew to the back of Anthony Joshua head was his weakness
Just a nice guy.
British classy boxer....100
The hair cut for when? 🤣
This guy as boring as Klitschko. Hope fury or wilder dethrone him again soon
So also ure boring as ruiz
in my opinion. this 2 time doesnt count that much, because it is against same guy. But congrats anyway :)
I know he’s rich but there would be a lot of pressure being heavyweight champ. Look what happened to Tyson.
Isnt it funny how Hearn is making sure AJ doesn’t fight Wilder , Fury or Ortiz next , and isn’t it funny how AJ wouldn’t fight Luis Ortiz because Ortiz is 40, but he will fight Kubrat Pulev who is 39.....
LOOK A RUNNER 12 ROUND CHAMP!! WHAT A CHAMP LOL!!!!!
the problem: 25 million first fight 85 million 2nd fight. that was the problem.
Leaves those girls alone lol
If he would of fought like now, I feel the first match would of been his. He did look intoxicated.
Obviously if AJ would of box the first fight he would of won. The same goes if AJ had fight the rematch like the first fight he would of lost again. AJ is not capable of taking Ruiz punch. And we all know Ruiz can take AJ punch. And because of that AJ team is not going to risk a rematch. For a rematch to happen, Ruiz is going to have to start from the bottom and get to the top again.
@@efrainvega71168 as he should reach the top all over for losing a rematch. Ruiz definitely can't hold past 2 knockdowns from AJ and if AJ is in right mind I feel he got it. But not against Wilder. Ruiz was a glitch in the system. Sorry
AJ couldn't handle the change in his PED cycle in New York, that's why he had "health problems" and lost. He got back on his cycle correctly in the UK where testing is lackluster or easily avoidable. Lol it's pretty clear to see to trained eye who knows athletes and athletes behaviors and symptoms on and off PEDs.
you mean by "trained eye"...biased as f..k ignoramus!
Wilder lost to Fury who wasn't fighting for over 3 years and everyone arr thinking Wilder's so great hf can't even box old Ortiz kicked his ass
Animic
How do u even get it?
Luqman Ahsan not eating enough greens 🥬 or periods
Run rabbit run rabbit run run
Man
He fought intelligently and strategically. He showed that he can change his game when he needs to.
Such a humble and great human being had his back from his first fight till now until the end but his legacy will live on for all time insha allah ( god willing )
Deontay Wilder can't be considered a TRUE champion until he fights the 💯 RIGHTFUL No.1 mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
If AJ is forced to fight Usyk or be stripped of one of his belts then Deontay Wilder should also be stripped of his WBC title if he refuses to fight Dillian Whyte.
Nobody is afraid of Dillian Whyte.. are you freakin serious??? Wilder decapitates Whyte in 3 rounds!
You just don’t want your precious Golden Child to lose to Wilder because you know he can’t beat him!
@@iscapetv5508. Wilder would fucking murder Whyte. It's not even a challenge for Wilder. Same goes for AJ.
Sydney Rooster lol

Its not difficult to figure out ...training ..overtraining ..depleted vitamins and minerals ...anaemia due to low red blood cell count with depleted iron levels . A decent sports nutritionist would be onto that via dialogue with athlete and coaches and via blood tests . Sounds like someone was mickey mouse in the team.....
He said he had an surgery. You don’t need surgery for anemia.
Hey Andy, this is the example of no excuses ✌
All the hate he gets yet let's be honest he is one of boxing's good guys.
Anthony joshua is a very likeable guy🥊❤
I agree and he's a great boxer. But we must admit that he is deathly afraid of Wilder.
What a man! I want my son to grow up just like AJ I swear... And I haven't got a boy :)

Why do people keep saying 3 belts? IBF IBO WBO WBA is 4 right? Anyone?
I dont understand either!
IBO is not as well recognized as the others. Therefore, technically he has 4 belts but only three major world titles!
@@nathanaelheilbronn2675 thanks for that.its always confused me and I'm a lifelong fan of boxing.i actually held Ricky Hattons IBO belt when he had it and thought I was the shit....dont really mean much now lol but we all know WBC is the one and there's too many titles anyway.one name one face one champ no confusion
sean Fletcher I kinda like the idea of having 4 world championship belts, cos the excitement for an unification (champ vs champ) is just enormous. WBC belt is most prestigious for you?
@@nathanaelheilbronn2675 yea that's a fair point.but for the casual fan it's all a bit confusing.and its champion of the world even with just IBO belt but you're not cuz the other belts are out there. but yea I love a unification fight.and with the WBC title ive always felt it's the ultimate belt and it's the oldest founded in 1963 my second has to be WBA.was you rooting for AJ? I certainly was. all good he'll unify all the belts not since Lennox Lewis has it been done so yea I suppose all them titles are a good thing.thanks for your input

If there ever was a situation where a loss makes you a better fighter? This is it
It’s looks the same problem as fury had after wlad but aj delt with it that little better, rematch fury never took and went out his mind, in the end but aj took his a had it all back could have been very different🥊🤫

@@shaqgreen3167 Fury become champ, But he didn't handle it well due to the parties, drug problem and weight gain. he has to give up the title since he didn't defend them for over 11 months
Your Amazing Joshua stay blessed your great 👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
Thyroid?
Really? R u sure
Look up the symptoms, they match up with his issues. My have injured it training his neck and just overlooked it until his body could not continue to hold out.
Interesting.. I have a thyroid issue myself and even I forgot it could be that. I was thinking maybe he needed vitamin b12 injections, and probably wanted to avoid mentioning it due to people then putting his name alongside the word “injection”, despite it only being b12 you know how people change and embellish facts lol
It could be high defencies in iron (blood transfusion) or b12 (couple of injections) or maybe thyroid. He was on some vegan shit so it could be B12 or Iron. Or something else...
I believe he had staph infection. So it might of been thyroid operation . He had a stye on his eye before the fight. Gyms carry staph a lot
In 2020 we must see him fight Deontay W.
I absolutely agree, but don't hold your breath because Joshua is scared to death of Wilder and has no intention of risking his health. He's not in the sport for legacy, only money.
He won’t fight Deontay. He is scared
ihopetowin Get your facts right!!! First off what makes you say AJ is scared of Wilder?!!! Who was chasing who before?!! Didn’t Wilder turn down the offers he was given? Did he turn down 100mil cos him and Shelly Finkle found out that AJ was going to get more than Wilder? Now it’s Wilders turn to chase AJ or he can continue fighting the lesser fights he has been fighting... Here comes Wilder Ortiz3 or Wilder Stiverne3.
@Mike Mike My junkie pale skin father? Is that an insult? AJ is scared he got beat into submission by a fat dude. Next time they fought he ran from him the entire fight and used his reach to stay away from the hay makers LOL AJ isn't a beast fam. He is a well built dude with a soft chin. If he ever fights wilder he would be KO by the 7th round easily. Watch the youtube interviews. Wilder offered him 50 million pounds and wilder was going to take 20 to fight.
Hahaha people are so hurt and upset that he’s champion again Hahahaha I love it.
He won't be champion for long if he fights Wilder, which he won't because Joshua is a ducker and fears Wilder.
ihopetowin Give up bruh!!!! Go back to the LDBC channels they like such jealousy and negativity!!!!
ihopetowin tell wilder to find his pen and sign the 100m contract that he ducked. Wilder is a bum has a terrible record - don’t you think AJ will neutralise his right hand just like fury more or less did, difference with AJ and fury is that AJ has knock out power if wilder gives any windows AJ will jump on him and knock him out.
dsrosa...But don't mention the people that were hurt and upset when Ruiz beat him in the first fight hey?? The one's that came up with 101 bullshit excuses why a fat Mexican whupped him.....
@@ihopetowin HE OFFERED A FIGHT TO WILDER FOR 80 MILLION AND WILDER TURNED IT DOW IT IS EASY FOR WILDER TO CALL OUT JOSHUA IN PUBLIC BUT HE TURNS DOWN THE FIGHT AND THEN SAYS AJ IS DUCKING HIM ALSO HE STILL HASN'T ACCEPTED TO FIGHT DILLIAN WHYTE WHO IS NUMBER 1 CONTENDER TO FIGHT FOR A LONG TIME AND STILL HASN'T GOT HIS FIGHT WITH WILDER
