- Today we are at Lucky's Burgers & Brewhouse in Georgia to take on the MASSIVE 8LB burger challenge. Challengers have one hour to defeat this burger and if they do, they will get the meal for free as well as a $200 Gift Card. If they do not, they will owe the $50 price tag.
A BIG thanks goes out to the amazing staff and owner here at Lucky's. I had a great time and would highly recommend the restaurant!

I use to love my burgers medium well until I got sick it was a really bad experience now I only eat them well done. Love watching you keep it going..
I got ecoli from an undercooked burger. I lost 90lbs in a month and I haven’t been right since. Took me almost ten years to eat meat again after that incident.

Challah bread is braided Jewish bread that is made on Fridays and eaten with wine at almost sundown on Friday to bring in the sabbath which starts at sundown. You can make it plain or add spices etc. My challah is nice soft and fluffy. I eat carnivore so I don’t eat it anymore, but still enjoy making it for others.

I love challah bread! I buy a loaf along with some bagels every time I visit this Jewish deli nearby. Soooo delicious 😋 🥯 🥖. The bagels with cream cheese and lox with capers and red onions that I make are one of my absolute favourites.

I make challah bread. It’s meant to be served Friday night on Shabbat. Also makes the best French toast after 2-3 days. The braids can be as many as 12! So many ways to make challah & raisin challah is the bomb - IYKYN!

I like my burgers medium well and I do NOT put ketchup on a burger. Mustard only. Though I don't think I'd want to use mustard on a burger that has eggs and bacon. In fact putting mustard on that sounds disgusting. Probably would just put some onions and lettuce on that.
Holobread? Never heard of it, so I guess I've never had it. I've got a slight gluten intolerance so it's probably a no-go. Especially that much, LOL

I enjoyed this challenge! I just found your channel after somehow losing it awhile back. I am glad you beat the "side bet"! I appreciate that you use gloves. I am OCD, and just the idea of the stuff on people's hands always distracts me in other eaters' videos. LOL I always wonder about it! You really tried to keep it tidy, despite looking like you were going to be one with that burger! Challah is a Jewish staple food - and I grew up with it. We always loved it to make French Toast especially! It is so eggy and yummy and soft. It is the perfect bread for french toast, sandwiches, and I think it is perfect for burgers - balances it out! I love that you chose medium rare. I am a "medium" person mostly - I want it to be pink, but I never trust most cooks enough with medium rare! hehe I just can't stand when they are too done (like an old shoe) or too undone (I feel like it is raw if it is too red and sinewy). Thanks for this video and congrats!

I’ve seen brioche buns a lot in Europe, but never challah. Suppose it’s a similar premise though. And with the honey it makes this into a challenge that comes with dessert, which is always a plus.
Speaking of pluses, it’s also great when a restaurant has fancy additions like that. Shows the restaurant cares about food quality, rather than just size. It was still massive though 😅

It made my day seeing at one of my contact invaders that I love being in my home state it’s so close to my hometown. after moving to Hawaii last year I miss it but thank you for showing. Now that does look like a tasty burger! I’m all for the honey as a dip to help, sweet and savoury together can’t be beaten. I use hot honey on a lot of my challenges. Challah bread is also a nice change, served freshly baked with some butter is also incredible! Great win as always my dude 💪🏻

You can't serve hamburgers like this in Canada. Health regulations force restaurants to cook it well done. The only way to get it like this is if you make it like that at home.

Great video, Scott. Well done. Challah bread is part of my Jewish heritage. It was served during Sabbath, and the tradition of dipping in honey was usually done to celebrate the Jewish New Year along with sliced apples.

I liked mine well done to kill all that bacteria. I eat plant-based now, but for 40 years, I ate a traditional diet. Bacon on anything was absolutely excellent! Bacon milkshakes are a thing and I loved them savory and sweet! Good ol' bacon and eggs. My eggs hard-fried or hard scrambled.
