But no, I'e decided to come on YT and search up how to beat cave story 100% and this channel is the most detailed and easier to understand plus you did everything and went through step by step
@@thesaroscycle_archive Ah, okay then. That's some determination. I really wanted to use a savepoint editor at some point, but it was too hard to find one for CV+, so I just gave up and beat it a legitimate way. Now I really want to speedrun it or beat it in hard mode.

When would be the best time to use the life pot? I don’t want to use it as a crutch to get through a section I could fairly easily learn to get through without much damage, but I also don’t want to spend 12 hours mastering a particular section when using the life pot would make it more manageable.
I honestly don't even remember using it much ever You could just keep it for the boss fight if you intend to use it, because getting hearts in the area isn't difficult and you can cheese them somewhat
