Bridgeway Sensory Walk

Thanks to Bridgeway Elementary School art teacher Ms. Mollie Ahlers who designed, drew and painted a new sensory hallway for the school over the summer. It is located right outside of Ms. Nicole Hagedorn's first grade classroom whose students helped demonstrate how it works.
A sensory walk is a path that leads students through high-intensity activities such as jumping, bending, hopping, crawling and walking on a zig-zag line to help students focus. The walk is a great break for students to either work out some energy or for students who need to build up some energy through activity.
