Thank you so much. I had a toy on the second story roof I’m afraid of heights and needed to remove the screen to get to it. I was not going to go that high on a ladder. I used a tape measurer to pull the toy to me lol.🙏
Great video. What if the screen doesn't have the tabs? Recently had the screens redone and the tabs are gone. I can't even get the screen to pop out at all to clean the top part of the outside window. Is there a tool i can use?
Dammit. Mine opens that way and has the locks but if you release the locks, the screen does not come out. It has two tabs at the bottom and they don’t help either.
@@MichelleRom I found another video in a few seconds, for me I head to push the screen to the right, and after that it pops out. It’s held in the window by soem type of springs and by pushing against the first of said strings, it should give the frame enough wiggle room to push out on the opposite side.
Unfortunately, the previous owner of my house were so dumb that there is no way to open the screen without using a box cutter... im on the second floor and no way of accessing the window from the outside. Also, they decided to install a single hung ply gem windows, so i cant even clean the top sash 😢
Why would you feel comfortable trying to teach people how to do windows when you said you just started. Leave the coaching to the pros with experience.

Are they flexible? Sometimes newer screens need to be twisted out

My screens don't have those tabs and are physically inside the track 😂
Use a painters tool to pry underneath (The tool to normally open paint cans)
