You need to book appointment for both birth certificate and passport separately, if available same day . If not available take two dates and send a mail requesting to combine the appointments to this mail inf.london@mea.gov.in . They will respond

I have a doubt. My husband is in India now. How can I do birth registration and passport without husband's signature and photo. Can I insert a scanned signature or is there any authorisation letter for that? If you can please reply. Thanks
For online application you can use scanned signature. But as of my knowledge he need to self attest his documents for appointment and need to bring original passport on appointment.

You need to take two separate appointments. But after taking appointment, if you send a mail to them to combine both appointment in one day they may agree.

There is only one appointment status confirmation they send containing appointment date and time slots if you got that you can go on that date

Sorry i don’t know about mail, in my case i given the copy in hand when i went for the appointment and I applied priority , received within 10 days.

Are you talking about the Indian birth certificate appointment ?You need to book the appointment yourself.
