Visiting Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Park in Cross Creek, FL | Touring Her Home | FL State Parks

In today’s video, we went to visit another state park in Florida called Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Park located in Cross Creek, Florida. This is just down the road from the Yearling Restaurant we visited and posted about a few days ago. The state park is her homestead and you can tour it which is really awesome! It’s huge! They have a huge orchard and a lot of acres. It’s very peaceful out there. The tour guide was great! She was funny and very informative. It is so cool to learn about the history and to see where a famous author lived. We also got to see where the tenant home and that was nice as well. The rest of the state park featured some playground equipment and also a boat ramp next to the water. It was a very fun place to visit! If you are wanting to see some Florida State Parks, stop by this one for some history!
