the Treasures of Ruin are the first minor legendaries that've felt weird and intersting since the Regi's. I think it's the mystique, and the total disjointedness from the narrative. They deserve such bops like this

This is INSANELY GOOD!!!! The Treasures of Ruin have my absolute favorite theme in the main game. And this remix just elevates it so much farther!! I’m also really happy with the image you chose, Chien Pao is my favorite of the four (and is incidentally the only one I ever bothered to catch).

I prefer Chi-Yu but Chien-Pao’s my second favorite of the Treasures of Ruin. You nailed the remix either way. :)

There aren't many Pokemon who are evil by choice. These four "cursed artifact" Pokemon felt kind of bad to collect in-game from a lore perspective. What are they still, but 'things' to collect? I like their designs, and while that lore I mentioned is grim, the modern world they've been released into might for once be a place that can purify the negative emotions they've spent their whole existence absorbing. 'Course, none of that changes the fact that their encounter theme was one of the good tracks from SV. ☺
