This is my FAVORITE Brockhampton song! Dom absolutely kills it, his wordplay is insane and every song he reminds me why he's my favorite/the best rapper in the group! Also that hook is killer!
Kindakoolbutfail Games Then you would only be listening to Aseop Rock and MF DOOM all day... the fact that you listen to Brockhampton shows that you're looking for more then just 'lyrical talent'. In my opinion the best thing about Brockampton is their whole energy, vibe, uniqueness, chemistry, authenticity and the way they balance all of this.
Sam guy I mean I don't only look for lyrics in terms if overall for songs and groups, sound is a big part, but in terms of individual rappers or groups lyrical talent is a big part, plus lyrical talent doesn't only mean intense rhyme schemes or compact wordplay, but can also mean the way an artist uses their words to invoke imagery or even the way they bend syllables to respond to a beat, or even writing a phrase that catches your ear. It's why you can say Frank Ocean is very lyrically talented despite him not having the same intense rhyme schemes as Earl Sweatshirt (who is one if my favorite rappers)
Joba easily had my favorite verse on this song his voice and flow switches 👌🏾 also would have loved a collab between brockhampton and odd future hampton enters the donut idk some weird shit that would’ve been fire
I’ve started designing (and selling) new brockhampton stickers / posters / t-shirts / whatever. check it out if u have time / money. please and thank you. 💕💕 redbubble.com/people/based-figaro/collections/841607-rapper-cards
When Merlyn said don't call me stupid that's not how my names pronounced I felt that (Edit) But like really Matt’s verse is so poetic and lyrical. Like the way old school rap used to be. Reminds me of Eminem
This has bothered me for like a few years now. This song sounds very much like some beat from the early 2000s, like Timbaland. I have two that sound similar but I’m not sure if it’s what I’m thinking of 50 Cent - Just a Little Bit Mac Dre - Get Stupid
Naya Liya send the link, the lyrics are great, bts got good lyrics too but they also got "girls are like math equations I just do em" and "my name is jungkook my scale is worldwide"
Dom's rhyme schemes, flow and wordplay is insane.
matt’s part in the song is underrated
Matt's part was unique and fun, which made me give the song a chance. JOBA's part made me look up BROCKHAMPTON, and I never turned back
I loved Matt’s verse and the high pitched voice along with him. I thought it represented him talking to his past self
How do you know their names lol 😅
it says their names at the top haha
Who is this matt?
Bruhh I feel like matt's verse is lowkey underrated
Its over shadowed by Merlyn and Joba's verses.
thats my fav part of the song LMAO
This is my FAVORITE Brockhampton song!
Dom absolutely kills it, his wordplay is insane and every song he reminds me why he's my favorite/the best rapper in the group!
Also that hook is killer!
Kindakoolbutfail Games Might be the best rapper but honestly the least interesting.
Sam guy meh, whatever your opinions about hin are I really look for lyrical talent before anything else.

I've got a record but i'm clean as they come. I'm Godzilla when they see me they run.
Kevin Crowe Well.. Apparently he did have a record because he ain't in the group anymore
It sucks that he's a piece of shit, he was a good rapper.
Hum
Ameer vaan's verse
I feel bad for Ameer, he was my fav and maybe the best. It would be funny if a diss track was released from him
123 321 shut up....
Matt was fire but Dom's was just gkd tier

At 0.36 which pornstar is appearing 😂
Came here from a bts edit, I love the beat but the lyrics are meh
